Religion / Re: Lagos Shuts Down Lord’s Chosen, 6 Other Churches by sesco2006(m): 5:36pm On Feb 21, 2012
That muslim engr. should not indirectly engage in religious bigotry. If some churches constitute noise nuisance, that can be understandable at least. The noise coming from the mosques are so annoying and incoherent. Why should some churches be shut down first. Religious war?

After messing up his state for 8 years, he wants to be president and I guess his mother will be the VP. He is such a political fool who doesn't know the meaning and relevance of posterity. May God punish whom punishment is due.

Politics / Re: Will Gov. Fashola Of Lagos Get 2nd Term Ticket? by sesco2006(m): 6:24pm On Dec 15, 2010
On another serious note, all the anti-Fashola elements in ACN including the ever ambitious, self-styled 'god father' should realize that PDP is at the brink of capturing Lagos without a people oriented candidate like Fashola. It is very clear that any opinion poll in Lagos will give Him at least 98%.

All the anti-Fashola personalities who are not sure of reaping directly from the donwline of the [Areaboys' godfather] should have a re-think. The treasury of Lagos state is certainly going the way of Asiwaju's pocket if Fashola doesn't come back. This is the bitter truth.

If Madam really believes that Obi is doing a good job in Anambra, despite all we see happening in that state, then her joining him means doom 4 such constituency and the state at large. Okonjo understood that an over-stayed saint in Nigerian politics drifts slowly away to negativism but Madam doesn't. I hope she re-traces her steps.
Sports / I Didn't Demand For Bribe - Amos Adamu by sesco2006(m): 10:10am On Oct 22, 2010
FIFA executive committee member Amos Adamu has denied any wrongdoing after being provisionally suspended while his alleged role in a World Cup vote-selling scandal is investigated.

Adamu and Tahiti‘s Reynald Temarii, two members of FIFA‘s 24-man executive committee who will decide which nations host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, were suspended by the governing body after being the subjects of an undercover investigation by The Sunday Times, who allege the pair asked for cash in return for their votes.

Adamu said in a statement on Thursday, ”Allegations were made against me by a British newspaper on 17th October 2010 which prompted a FIFA ethics committee meeting yesterday (Wednesday) which concluded I should be provisionally suspended from my FIFA duties.

Whilst I wholly refute all allegations made, I fully support the inquiry since it is important that these claims are thoroughly investigated. Only by doing this will FIFA - and the wider football community - be able to trust that its appointed representatives are beyond reproach.”

The pair were provisionally banned ”from all football activity” on Wednesday pending a final hearing next month.

My Roadmap to Uninterrupted Power Supply, By Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and presidential aspirant on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform has outlined a detailed roadmap with which he hopes to actualize his dream of ending the scourge of darkness and providing uninterrupted power supply if elected President.

In a statement made available to THISDAY yesterday, Atiku said in the interim, “government must close the gap in the transmission network thereby making it a proper grid system as opposed to a radial system.

This will make the system more reliable and less prone to national system collapses. Although distribution is receiving attention, it is, however, not certain that a clear policy on how to bridge the infrastructure gap at this level is being adequately addressed.”

According to him, “An administration led by me will undertake EPPs as a short-term measure to ensure enhanced supply within the first year of the new administration: We will provide EPPs for key urban areas (Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kaduna, Onitsha; Kano) but taking into account the need to provide investors with a reasonable return in the pricing decisions. We will ensure an accelerated procurement cycle to achieve timely delivery of the EPPs.”

We all know that this is missing in Action Part30 featuring Police and the people that took small loan that are not those that took heavy loans in Government. Who is the actor and who is the boss? (Watch out Actor go die for this movie. Make una no dey deciecve us). We all know that it will be politicized and finally it will die a sudden death.
