No it is not seamless, my hubby came in yesterday after doing covid test in his destination on getting to cotonou he was told the test is invalid that he must do another one before they let them go. he paid 100k CFA for the test, they collect dollar, euro and CFA. They will do blood and throat test and later collect you Niaja passport telling you to comeback in three days for the result because the result for the throat test doesn't come out instantly unlike the blood. He has just been complaining that he should have just remain in his destination instead of coming. I f you are coming to Nigeria thru Cotonou just hold enough cash and you have to be very vigilant with your luggages.

If you flying with a Nigeria passport, would be seamless

You could charter a cab from Cotonou airport to idiroko border

Charter another to lagos city center

Please is this comment same for Sweden? Will be moving there early next year although not for school but on a temporary permit.

Been here over 2years already and I can challenge any African/Nigerian living here to beat there chest and say that they got an IT job without internal connection in the firm....Realistically speaking, it is a tough call here that is why networking is crucial...The truth is that once the recruiter sees a name other than “Antti, Koski, Janne, Petri etc”, that application is going straight to the trash can....even odd jobs here require some form of recommendation to get...so approach it with an open mind, miracles still happens anyway...

I understand the frustration. I have once applied for transcript from Lautech tru the manual process them. I I got the transcript delivered. But since they started the online process it's been difficult cos my money too don burn for that online process. Anyways like I heard there is a departmental fee that needs to be paid if not no transcript for the online process don't know how through nevertheless you can visit the school in person to know sup with their unseriousn attitude and negligence or Google their vc' s, registrar, assit registrar and other top lecturers from your dept and school and send a kind mail to them, history of your transcript and maybe tell them how their nonchalant attitude to people's result has affected the image of the school them plead for them to send your transcript as soon as possible. This worked for a friend but the transcript request was within Nigeria.

It's quite unfortunate. My cousin is also in the same situation. He applied for his MBA transcript first week of August and has spent 80k so far trying to facilitate it, yet no transcript.

Send a mail to lautech and blast them stylishly copy the capable like the registrar Top lecturers they will reply. Have a colleague that sent them a mail to tell them of how inefficient they are after two weeks of applying for transcript. Appears the second day after the mail

What do you mean by some people are busy doing other things in life not just Canadian immigration. That's quite rude though those that have the info also have better things to do rather than answering questions that do not concern them. When you are less busy with the other things of life sit down open your laptop and Wi-Fi and do some more research

Is it bad to ask questions? I for one hate it when people tell others to go read from page 1. If you can't answer their questions, simply ignore. If you can and you think the question has been answered some pages before you can do well to look it up and then answer with a link to that page. Think you should find time to go to the school or better still pay online yourself and visit the school for followup. If the person really paid online you are suppose to get a student copy via mail.

Thanks for your response. He paid the person to handle everything, so we don't even know if the application has been done online as the person is neither picking calls nor responding to messages.

I know Lautech registers for transcript online. So that a student copy will be sent to your before sending to the address u wish for it to be sent. then wait for a while to follow-up with themithem in person or via mail

Hello house, pls I have some concerns regarding personal history. I have sth like Nov 2010 to Feb 2012 (MSc full time) and Aug 2011 to Apr 2017 (employment).
Issue here is there is an overlap as I got the job more than half way into my masters program, I was able to combine the two by attending weekend classes and the rest was project which was flexible.

I intend to do an LOE stating the above as my Reason for the overlap. Do you think this will fly and not result in any ADR or any complications?

At least for the sake of the kids apply as a family let them all get the PR. Then they can come back pending when you settle and your wife decides decided whether or not to join you. Maybe I should say thank you cos there is nothing like Family

Thanks my friend... But the only thing that will make her resign is the knowledge that I am settled over there and earning enough to take care of the family,before she can get a job herself.
I am also considering applying for the whole family,and then we will all go for the first time so she and the kids can get their PR card, and then they come back... At least that way they will have the option to join me for the first 3 years,after which the 2years residency rule will kick in.

I think you should apply with your wife and kids once they get the PR. She can take a month leave to travel and return back to Nigeria with the kids then visit you with the kids frequently pending she changes her mind. Thank.

IMO, why don't you apply for the whole family? Then your wife and kids could visit or land for a week or two before their medical expires. In this case, you save yourself the stress of sponsoring your spouse later.
With that done, she could visit anytime.

But you can genuinely reply to the question without referring her to page 0 that will take months to finish.

i think you should go study cos the Canada pool might take a while. You could continue with process while in skool. Pls note this is my own personal thought.

your best bet is for your husband to be primary applicant "he has the experience & Degree advantage" as mentioned by bellong
He should access as a software application and programmer 2613.
based on ACS rules, depending on his transcript content, 2/4/6 yrs maybe required to cling a positive assessment. I will go ahead and predict 4yrs will be deducted. its a good thing he has over 4yrs.

Currently 65pts is good for 2613 and it has a very high quota of 6202 slots this year.
