GEJ comments about the "painful" comments ppl make such as that he's behind Boko Haram.

Question: "In a similar event like this in the past, you remarked that stealing is not corruption. This issue has generated a lot of controversy. Mr President pls, can you tel us clarify what you meant by those statements" He says thank God nobody said he said stealing is good.

He was asked if there is a plan to recover the girls alive. He says of course there's no plan to kill the girls. He says that he can't promise that the 200 girls will come out alive but that he's more hopeful than before that they'll be able to comb the whole area due to the cooperation the govt is getting from neighbouring countries which "was not so before".

He says Americans did not attack the president when we experienced 9/11. He expects Nigerian politicians with international connections to use their connections to help the girls instead of attacking the president. But he didn't clarify whether he went partying when they were kidnapped.

Asked how far with the Chibok girls, GEJ says now that they are working with Chad the issue of rescuing the Chibok girls should get better in 3 weeks but he cannot promise that officially. He says they will comb the whole of that area.

Coordinator asks "as a mother" how GEJ could have gone partying when the girls were first announced missing. GEJ says that he did not go partying... but goes on a long ramble about how politicians chose to politicize the situation instead of fighting against it.

Journalist notes that GEJ lost the support of many of the people like AMaechi who supported him in 2011, and asks what he's doing to win them back, assuming that he needs to win them back. He says that in politics there's no permanent ally and some ppl moved from APC to PDP too.

GEJ reaffirms that (handover on) "May 29 is sacrosanct"

Asked about how Boko Haram affects the election, GEJ replies that we had Boko Haram issues in 2011.

He says they can at best take over the Boko territories in the 6 weeks but that doesn't mean they will be able to wipe out Boko Haram.

He keeps talking about "Reconfiguring the security architecture" of the anti boko haram activities.

GEJ was asked if he is disturbed by the nonsense that Asari Dokubo and co say.

GEJ was asked when he will go to the mosques since he's been seen in various churches.
GEJ says he attends muslim youth programmes but he does not go to mosques. Hmm.

His exam was conducted by Cambridge, not WAEC, so there is no way that they could possibly have his certificate. It's completely irrelevant.

Our job is to listen to everybody - APC, PDP, whatever - figure out what the right thing to do is, and to do it regardless of which party benefits. The folks that insulted the admin instead of calmly reporting the post to the mods for correction were banned for breaking rule 20.

The subject was accurate and clear. I think our people have a problem with nuance. Also, PDP trolls may have deliberately misinterpreted it.

The source is hopefornigeria's facebook page. They are Jonathan's people. Also, the NL PDP trolls are doing their best to defend this action.

I have searched the source of the Op's topic and couldn't find the news there. This is a clear case of mischief on the part of the Op. Nairaland has rules especially when it comes to disseminating informations.
