However, I have decided to unban him since I hope that he is repentant and he will make no further efforts to destroy Nairaland's reputation.

That the mistake of bleaching can be reversed (to some extent) if you simply stop doing it, and that it's probably a good idea to do so.

My expectations for season 5 are very low. We've seen that Game Of Thrones is at its best when it's faithful to the show and adds a little spice to delight book readers. For example, the best part of season 4 was the fight between the Mountain and the viper. Every word spoken in that scene was lifted directly from the book. The only significant deviation was the squishing of Oberyn's head which added spice to the book version of the story without changing its essence. But the writers have deviated more and more from the book story every season. They think they can improve on a story that a master storyteller wrote over several decades within the space of a few months. Of course, they're wrong.

@Kachisbarbie: the time spent on writing all these 'big big grammars' would be better spent creating the threads that we are asking for.

Just as Tosyne2much and Emusmith is creating 10things about female folks; when a female do so, all males from all nooks and crannies of Nairaland, will craw out from nowhere and bash her seriously.
The discouraging part is that no female would come to her aid and those bashers comment will be having upto "200LIKES" while the OP will garner barely 50likes.

Some women hate feminists and endorse misogynists. The challenge won't work.

I strongly believe that Nigerian women are strong enough to handle the heat. Moderators will assist them by banning rule-breaking bullies.

Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan has ruled out investigating the scandalous audio tape of the collusion between military officers and top guns in the Peoples Democratic Party to rig last year's June 21, Election in Ekiti State.
President Jonathan told the Wall Street Journal that the audio was a fabrication despite the confirmation of its aunthenticity by the U.S based-voice verifications-firm, Guardian consulting LLC.
"It's all fabrications." he said of the audio. "Why should I investigate in things that are not real".

It's almost as if GEJ is trying to sink his own presidential campaign ship. He should be trying to convince us that he is serious about corruption.

That's a kid talk. GEJ is only respecting him because of the roles he played in his enthronement as the president. If OBJ goes beyond his boundary, you will know the power a sitting president has. What Abacha did to him will be a child's play.

Arresting Obasanjo will not help President Jonathan's re-election campaign. Obasanjo is the most influential Yoruba politician apart from Tinubu, and GEJ needs all the Yoruba support he can get because (I think) the outcome of the presidential election will be determined by Yoruba voters.

I will remind the supermods of the need to be objective and unbiased, but I don't think that translates into blocking a hot thread like this one.

Goodluck Jonathan needs to apologize for whatever he has done to offend Obasanjo before the old man finishes him completely. This is brutal!

Mail supermods with a link to the specific thread you are talking about and explain exactly what you think is wrong with it. They will surely intervene.

Hmmm, I didn't notice that, but I noticed that the lady who hosted/dominated the media chat was a very strong and open supporter of GEJ.

Wow, that's scary. I'm glad that he's recovering. It's not so bad to give puppies chicken bones, but you should start with very small bones and watch the puppy carefully to see whether he is chewing the bones well, and also watch the poop to see whether he's digesting them well. I once made a mistake of giving my dog a whole catfish from the supermarket. He could not digest the cartilage in the head of the fish and started pooping blood. Eventually he pooped the undigested head of the fish & I learned my lesson. If he was a pup, he would probably have died.

Would he grant an interview to AIT or NTA? (In all fairness the same can be said about GEJ who only does media chats with friendly journalists)
