lalasticlala:This picture has been posted on Nairaland many times. I'm surprised that you're just seeing it! |
oluomoadebayo:This is more true for adult dogs than for puppies. It's also more true for raw-fed dogs than for dogs eating regular carb-rich foods like rice. |
Lalasticlala, your attention is needed here. |
Namady:Asari Dokubo is also a Muslim! :-) |
dustmalik:Title changed to "Northern Youths" Threaten To "Extinguish" AIT If Buhari Doesn't Win (Letter). Our people should have been more careful. |
@cbay: Boerboel? Why? What led you to believe that a boerboel is a great dog for a family with young kids? Of course, with very good training, almost any breed of dog can be good for a family with kids, so you have no reason to regret your purchase, but it's very surprising to me. The info on this page will be hepful: http://www.african-boerboel.co.za/children.htm Congrats! |
udemzyudex:if you feel what I wrote was wrong, you should just correct it. That is all. |
thefakestan:Mistake. I'm sorry. |

He feels it's better to try to improve PVC distribution so that Nigerians will believe in the electoral process which they didn't believe in before. |
GEJ Closing Comments: He assures Nigerians that elections will be free and fair and the new president will be sworn in May 29 certainly. He thinks the rumors about removing Jega are stupid insinuations. And are distorted stories at best. |
Q: Is he bothered by the amount of money spent in political campaigns and would he like to correct the situation? A: INEC is already regulating that, but the pressure on political candidates to raise money is quite high. The money PDP raised was for building a secretariat. The billions talked about were just pledges and they have not seen the cash. Q; Does he have confidence in INEC A: He says he appointed everybody in INEC so they will do the work. |
GEJ says as the president he doesn't really have the time to monitor social media, but he feels sad about the things that are said about him. |
Q: His chat with Buhari. Can GEJ tell us his own personal assessment about Buhari? A: He doesn't think it's proper to assess his political opponent during election period. But he says more mud is flung on him as the president. |
Q: What has GEJ learned in the first term. If he wins the re-election bid, what will he do differently. A: He's going to address perception because perception is more powerful than reality. Most of the problems of his govt is with perception. |
madridguy:I'm listening on FM radio 102.3Mhz on my phone cos the AIT internet stream is slow. |
Q: People saying he doesn't want to leave office if he loses the elections. A: He maintains that, just like in 2011, he is more interested in ensuring that elections are free and fair, he has no issue with handing over. |
Q: Has nigeria mended fences with the us govt to enable us to get the arms from them that we need? A: The US govt feels the weapons could be used for human rights abuses. But he says they are getting them from other countries that produce similar weapons. They don't have all the weapons they need but they have gotten enough equipment to be able to move faster. |
Q: The 1 billion dollar loan for fighting Boko Haram. What's the state of things with that? A. He says the procurement of arms will the money will be done directly from Government to Government to eliminate stealing. Q: What's the state of the issue with South Africa over the 9.3 million dollars: A: He believes they'll get the money back, but the matter is still in court. |
GEJ says more cases of stealing/corrupt practices have been prosecuted under his govt than ever before, but prevention is what they are focusing on and for example they used IT to prevent fertiliser stealing in the agric sector. |
I'm beginning to understand why GEJ has done well in politics. He's very good at communicating with individuals one on one vs to crowds. |
He says his point is that we should not use corruption to cover different things like incompetence/theft. Stealing should be treated as stealing. |
GEJ's explanation of his "stealing is not corruption" statement is that he was quoting Justice Mustapha who said more than 80% of cases of corruption are just theft. GEJ says "a thief should be called a thief and treated like a thief" that corruption is used to legitimize theft. |
