When A muslim does something is terrorism but when a non muslim does thesame is a normal thing.

A: He maintains that, just like in 2011, he is more interested in ensuring that elections are free and fair, he has no issue with handing over.

Q: Has nigeria mended fences with the us govt to enable us to get the arms from them that we need?

A: The US govt feels the weapons could be used for human rights abuses. But he says they are getting them from other countries that produce similar weapons. They don't have all the weapons they need but they have gotten enough equipment to be able to move faster.

Q: The 1 billion dollar loan for fighting Boko Haram. What's the state of things with that?

A. He says the procurement of arms will the money will be done directly from Government to Government to eliminate stealing.

Q: What's the state of the issue with South Africa over the 9.3 million dollars:

A: He believes they'll get the money back, but the matter is still in court.

GEJ says more cases of stealing/corrupt practices have been prosecuted under his govt than ever before,
but prevention is what they are focusing on and for example they used IT to prevent fertiliser stealing in the agric sector.

I'm beginning to understand why GEJ has done well in politics. He's very good at communicating with individuals one on one vs to crowds.

He says his point is that we should not use corruption to cover different things like incompetence/theft. Stealing should be treated as stealing.

GEJ's explanation of his "stealing is not corruption" statement is that he was quoting Justice Mustapha who said more than 80% of cases of corruption are just theft. GEJ says "a thief should be called a thief and treated like a thief" that corruption is used to legitimize theft.
