AgricultureRe: "Goodluck Jonathan: The Farmer's President" - Agric Minister Akinwunmi Adeshina by Seun(mod): 3:46pm On Feb 20, 2015
If it's true that GEJ's administration has done much to help farmers in the north, then it's a pity that it most likely won't affect their votes at all.
Agriculture"Goodluck Jonathan: The Farmer's President" - Agric Minister Akinwunmi Adeshina by Seun(mod): 3:18pm On Feb 20, 2015
When there was a flood in this country in 2012, everybody panicked. President Jonathan didn't panic. People said there was going to be food crisis.

I remember I went to him, I had all my detailed analysis done. "Mr President, people are telling you that we're gonna have food crisis. No. You didn't choose the shock, but we choose our response."

The president had that day on his desk quite a lot of people that had sent him letters asking for waivers to bring in food, to flood the country with food.

The president didn't listen to them, he called his minister of Agriculture - that's a great leader - and he said, "Can we survive? Do you think we are going to survive?" "Mr president", I said, "we're going to survive if you help us to do dry season rice. "

I gave him the plan. He took his pen. He uses green pen. And he cancelled every single one of those things on his desk, asking for waivers. He said "Akin", as he normally calls me, "go get the job done".

Today, he launched dry season farming program, the first president in the history of this country, to launch a programme for national dry season farming. So we can produce food during the main season. Food, during the dry season. All across the north of this country, he started. And that is why we've been able to boost so much food production.

Farmers, young people, that used to leave the north to come and work in Lagos or Abuja as meiguards or night guards and stuff like that, they stopped. We're creating lots of jobs. Agriculture sector alone in terms of farm jobs ... we've been able to do 3.2 million farm jobs.

You go ask people. Not on the Internet. Not on Facebook. You go ask them in Jigawa. You go Ask them in Katsina. Ask them in Sokoto. Ask them in Kano. Ask them in Bauchi, and ask them in Gombe. They'll tell you that there is no other person that has loved farmers more, supported farmers more, encouraged them more, and been there for them all the time.

He truly is the farmer's president. And he truly is the farmer's president because he loves farmers ... he supports farmers. And I believe that the farmers are going to want him back, because the farmers don't want to be naked. They want the clothing on their bodies. And they are not going to lose that to just empty promises from others.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the farmer's president, and the farmers are for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

How true are these claims? Unfortunately they didn't show any of the farmers "not on the Internet" that benefitted from the project, so ...

My wife tried raw chicken and it was disastrous, so i am a bit scared trying anything raw for now.. May be will try when he becomes an adult but not as a Puppy.
The real danger of raw feeding is that you won't have time to balance the diet, which will cause your puppy not to grow to his full potential.

Why do you think I would be upset with you for informing your customers about what you are trying to sell to them?

To my surprise, more than one senator asked him if the card reader is admissible in the court of law. His answer was that "it's left to court to decide"
Is he a judge? What should he have said?

Q. Are there any court cases that can delay the elections?

Q: Can you vote without permanent voter's card?
A: No, it's not possible. Presentation of permanent voter's card is a requirement for accreditation.

Q: Should we allow TVC?
A: There are over 4 million people who did multiple voting last time. Those people have TVCs. If TVCs are accepted, they will show up at elections and cause confusion when they prevent their invalid TVCs. This happened in Anambra. "Only people with PVCs would be able to vote"

Over 90 percent..not (only)
The (only) was added by me because 90% is a very low number. It's not acceptable for up to 10% of the electorate to be disenfranchised.

@seun,

That's not correct, he said they've only DONE SIMULATION RFID tests, not field test. I'm watching it too
He said they have done simulation tests which were very successful, but only very few field tests, which were (only) 90% successful.

PoliticsRe: Atahiru Jega Addressed The Nigerian Senate On 18th February 2014 (Video) by Seun(mod):
They have done just a few field tests and those tests were "over" 90% successful. He feels comfortable that these card readers can be used. But they cannot be perfect. Some of them will not work. Only 500 of the card readers (0.03% of the total) have failed. Their agreement with parties is that if the card reader fails during accreditation, then they will try and replace it, and the time lost will be added for accreditation. But if they cannot replace it on time, and they don't see why they can't because there will be redundancies in every ward, the elections will be postponed until the next day and there will be no revertion to manual voting otherwise it's guaranteed that the card readers will be sabotaged.

PetsRe: Raw Meat Or Cooked Meat? by Seun(mod):
If you can't vouch for the quality of the meat, cook it. The nutrient loss is minimal. If you don't have much time, cook it in a microwave oven.

Raw frozen chicken is safer because it has already been frozen, which would have killed most of the parasites in it. The same applies to fish.

I'm thinking about whether to delete this picture or not. On the pro side, the picture has no value. On the other hand, no rule has been broken.
