Uyi Iredia: Will make things worse. Psychiatrists are tend to assume problems like his can only be solved with drugs and admission. They hardly consider psychotherapy. I will advise the OP to Google a brilliant TED talk by Eleanor Longden on how she dealt with hearing voices and to go to the site she suggests. Will post it soon.

So you think you know how to treat mental illness better than doctors who have gone through years of rigorous training? Do you also avoid going to regular doctors when you have malaria because they "assume that malaria can only be solved with medication"? Can you recommend a good Youtube video on how to treat malaria using the power of your mind?

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and Nairaland was perfect on it. Try clearing your Firefox cache and cookies, closing Firefox, restarting your computer, then trying Again. If anyone else on Airtel is having this problem, please let me know.

Vivly: I've also experienced same in the past. Other times, when I click on the first topic on the front page, it redirects me to the auto or diary section. Then i have to go back and click on the topic again before it opens.

What's your Network/ISP? Have you tried refreshing?

Did you try it at a different petrol station? I have a bunch of 10 liter kegs and they can take much more than 10 liters.

I may have over-reacted, but I think it's the same dangerous mindset that escalates into physical abuse.

We're going to replace it with a feature that measures your recent "activity level".

It's a known bug. The code responsible for that feature is far too complex and therefore we may have to remove it entirely. We're very sorry about this.

kennygee: I found out four months ago that my ex was cheating on me with his girlfriend who he lied to me about claiming to have ended the relationship. We parted ways amicably even though i loved him.
I am seeing someone else now and we're having issues because yesterday, my ex called me to tell me he was ill (really ill) so i went to see him after church to be sure he's ok.(his gf doesn't stay in abuja with him, she's in lagos) i cooked for him, he ate and i left. My boyfriend got angry when i told him and now he is mad at me and threatening to break my sim card. I think he is over reacting. What is wrong with being there for an ill person, is it bad because he is my ex? Everything i did, i did from the goodness of my heart, nothing more.

I'm disturbed that he is threatening to commit an act of violence rather than something normal like calling off the relationship. I understand his annoyance but his threat is not normal.

Anuoluwap: Mr. Seun pls call on the moderators in the religion section to explain the reason behind it. I think HumbledBYGrace should explain this cause I remember she was the one that attended to my complaint. So a complaint led to a ban? You must be joking. The last time I checked IBB wasn't in power, so why the harsh judgement on nairaland?
