We wish to thank all those who participated in this contest including those who were unfortunately disqualified for falling short of a few rules. We will conduct another contest in a short while and we hope that they will help us to make it far more competitive than this one.

Locked!

I'll lock the thread by 6:40pm

egift: venue and date corrected

* Entries must be submitted as attachments on this thread on or before 6:00PM on Sunday the 27th of October, 2013.

dtraveler: Oshe..

Your covenant university ad is not borderless.

Goldenheart: Oga seun, what am i missing?

Size

erad: ...

Wizkid, not Whizkid

Bearshare: My humble submissions...got to know about this only 2hrs ago

Try to submit the 4th one before this thread is closed.

manifest: Please see below for the contest, let me know of any concerns regarding the entry.

Thank You!

Tecno, not Techno

iamswizz: Seun! I think you've got it all wrong, you can disqualify them for errors, thats ok.. But, saying that you'll disqualify them for using Nairaland as Venue is not it at all, thats rather absurd, sorry to say..

We all know that it is just an example and shouldn't be taken seriously, and we know wizkid is not getting married at all....

So there are nice designers that used nairaland as venue for their design.. These are great works, and if you disqualify them just because of the venue thingy, it wont be fair, and you know it..

Like this post if you agree!

A good designer should be able to respond to feedback. We have had to drop designers who just didn't know how to listen, so this is important.

Go for counselling. Talking to someone about it will really help.

Is that borderless, sir?

@MEILYN: Thanks for pointing that out. I won't be swayed by biased comments. If I can't see what they are talking about, I won't let it sway me.

@everyone: Two really good designers will be disqualified for not following the instructions, having typos in their ads, or using Nairaland as venue.

What kind of grant are you talking about?

No matter how good your entry, if it has any typographical error, or if it falls short of any of the rules, then it will automatically be disqualified.

egift: @Seun: Here is my humble submission.

Thanks for supporting my submission. Cheers!

* Your banners must be 318 pixels wide, 106 pixels tall, in the PNG/JPG format, 30kb or less in file size, and border-less.

folyboy2013: i have rescale it to the specification, thanks webcontrator.

You cannot win with these scaled images. You must remake all of them at the right size.

Archmage: Abeg, person fit submit 2 designs for each task?

The ability to judge which design is better is an important one for graphic designers. So you should submit only one ad - the best one - for each.

Rehnoy: I feel like crying my eyes out right now. WHY didn't I see this on time oooo.

You mean you can't design 4 mini-banners in 2 days?

Check your spam folder.

coolluk: Hello my fellow designers and critics alike, I am using photoshop cs5 But d size for the design Seun required is too small to design anything. I would love to know if u guys increased yours or something. Thanx for the reply

You can just zoom in.
