You can create a one page website for the purpose, or link to a suitable page on your blog or on facebook.

Dear Web Banner Advert Designers,

Our decision to use the 154 by 95 pixel format for direct ads on Nairaland was made for many good reasons, but it presents advertisers with a unique challenge which is also a unique opportunity for good graphic designers with a good understanding of marketing. The challenge of designing effective ads at that size.

To make things easier for our advertisers, I've decided to launch a web advert design contest. The rules are as follows:
1) Post your name or the name of your company, and a link to your website and portfolio.
2) Upload up to four original web adverts (154 by 95 pixel .png files), advertising your web advert design service.

Our small panel of judges will select the 3 best adverts (at least) and award the winners with free advertising worth ₦30,000 each.

Deadline: Friday, September 21, 2012 at 4:00pm. Please drop a reply if you intend to participate.

Your ad banner must be borderless, 318 pixels wide, 106 pixels tall, less than 30kb in size, and in the PNG or JPG format. Once it's ready, go to www.nairaland.com/campaign and click (Upload Ad) to upload your banner ad and landing page, and wait for approval. (Your ad might not be approved if it's deceptive or illegal or morally questionable in some way).

After your ad is approved, we will provide you with information about how to purchase advertising credits so you can freely place your ads on any section of Nairaland - including the home page. Our system is extremely simple by design.

Please see our Estimated Advertising Rates to find out how much it'll cost to advertise on the various sections of Nairaland on the long run (prices on the short term are strongly correlated with traffic levels). Billing takes place every few minutes and you will get detailed reports on unique clicks and views and charges for each ad/section and for your entire account over various time periods.

You can read Python 2 examples and mentally translate them to Python 3. Are you sure the apps you want to build require desktop GUIs?

maryjames9: Many guyz started off like this but they grew out of their shell having mixed up with colleagues at work and modern society. If u love him indeed,u will stay with him and influence him. It may take time & difficult but he will change. However,he must be see the need to and be willing to learn. I know for certain that he wil outgrow his thick village mentality shell given the right exposure and encouragement. If he's unyielding,then u have to do what u must do eventually after threats to leave him if he doesnt change has failed. breezy007: Well, I Love Dogs too, I got a German Shepherd, she's aggressive intelligent and very noisy. But she's all a dog could be, she knows how to bark, sit, lie down, stand and shake hands all on command.

How did you train her? Our German Shepherd is extremely jumpy and can only sit on command - if there's food around.

hmmm...easier said. I am sure you don't know the trauma she is going through now, neither do you know her family background? Maybe you should try putting yourself in her shoes for 5minutes, then you tell us how you fared. This is the best she can do and unlike Acidtalk, i prefer to and will be positive about this message...only those who have ears will be able to hear this warning bell!

She would not have had to go through this trauma if the women that were victims before her had reported the evil men to the authorities. Do you know the trauma other women are going through right now because of her failure to report those evil men? It's certainly easier said than done, but it must be done in order to protect other women from the same fate. If the six earlier victims of Cynthia's killers had reported the men after being raped, she would not have been killed. This evil persists because good men (and women) fail to fight against it pragmatically.
