I'm sorry about that. I like to clean up home page threads, for the greater good. It's better than locking. |

It's not a big deal. The top thread before remains the top thread now. Relative counts are still the same. |

Nairaland General › Re: Why Are My Topic's Views Decreasing Instead Of Increasing? by Seun(mod): 4:10pm On Aug 31, 2011 |
I plan to do this just once a year.
The view count of a thread will therefore approximate the popularity of a thread in the last two years.
Old threads not currently drawing any views will gradually fall to the bottom. |

It's my doing. I divided the view count of all threads by two to allow new threads to progress beyond old ones. |

TCD: The Moderators have day Jobs too. Afterall they are not getting renumerated , more so they are Human.
I think for the site owner to publicly lambast them like this and blame it all on them is just distasteful.
That's the problem with Nigeria. We lack basic man management and personnel skills. Well, you're right about that. I'm very bad at man management. Truly awful. I'd rather manage women. The main reason why I reprimanded the mods publicly is to counter the demoralizing effect of their public posts about the job being so hard that no replacement mod could possibly do it well. This is simply not true. |
