Business › Re: Starting Up an Online Payment Solution by Seun(mod): 1:21pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
Payboss when I last checked did not look too serious to me. Plus, it's a generic script. Smartsoft, have you abandoned this project? |
| Health › Re: How Much Sleep Is Needed Daily? by Seun(mod): 1:20pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
You can live a stress-free life with just 4 hours of sleep if you use the Polyphasic Sleep System: 20 minutes of sleep every 4 hours of the day! The problem with this system is that you can't combine it with a regular job or educational programme since you have to sleep every 4 hours. For solopreneurs, it can work really well. For more information about polyphasic sleep, visit: www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/10/polyphasic-sleep/ |
| Family › Re: Husband and Wife in the same Profession? by Seun(mod): 1:16pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
I'm an entrepreneur, and my wife will be the same. Entrepreneurs can find themselves in any industry at any time, but the love of profit is one thing that unites us! A family with two entrepreneurs will be so exciting! |
| Literature › Re: Never Pay To Publish Your Books by Seun(mod): 1:11pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
Professional critics are over-rated. Do you know that Ayn Rand's books were scored low by critics because of their length, clumsiness and black and white morality and still ended up as best-sellers? Post the first chapter under fiction and if people like it, you can self-publishing and retain 100% of the sales profit! |

Sorry, but this seems like a job for Google! |
| Computers › Re: Can I Get A Good Laptop For 50,000 Naira? by Seun(mod): 1:07pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
So there's a strong possibility that you'll need to change the hard disk and LAN port of a cheap refurbished laptop after 2 weeks of operation. Eventually, the money you didn't want to spend will have to be spent! |
| Phones › Re: Children Using Phones: Good Or Bad? by Seun(mod): 1:05pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
Parents can use mobile phones to keep in touch with their children. Their children can also use such phones to contact the parents in case of emergencies. Avoid post-paid plans at all costs to prevent exorbitant charges! |

It was a nice story in my opinion. And Superman really looked like Superman this time. |

| Education › Re: Cambrige International Exam (CIE O Level) Or WAEC O Level by Seun(mod): 12:27pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
I took both. The advantage of the International exam is that you'll get your results in time. 1 Like |
| Education › Re: Studying For A Degree In Malaysia by Seun(mod): 12:15pm On Aug 04, 2006 |
I have two questions: 1) Are you going to ask prospective students for money? 2) If no, then what's in it for you? Why do you want to help them? I also have a request: can you post more information about how this works publicly on Nairaland? |
| Politics › Re: 'Skentele' President 2007: A Comic Strip by Seun(mod): 11:53am On Aug 04, 2006 |
Thanks! The aim of this work is to open people's minds to the possibility of female presidency in Nigeria. I'm well aware that its logic isn't serious enough to fully convince people but it'll at least open their minds. |
| Literature › Re: Ayn Rand Books In Nigeria? by Seun(mod): 11:51am On Aug 04, 2006 |
Which Ayn Rand books do you think I should buy? 'Atlas Shrugged' and 'The Fountainhead'? I've read the plot of 'The Fountainhead' and I'm not impressed by the idea of an architect who doesn't want to serve his customers but only himself. Isn't customer service an important part of practical capitalism? As for 'Atlas Shrugged', I've read the summary and I don't know if I should bother buying the book because it's too long and convoluted. I don't know if I'll find it interesting, so should I just satisfy myself with online summaries? |
| Romance › Re: Ideal Man (for the women) by Seun(mod): 11:45am On Aug 04, 2006 |
Out of every thirty Nigerian men, I don't think you can find more than one who is at least 6 feet tall. |
| Celebrities › Re: Jessica Alba: What Do You Think Of Her? by Seun(mod): 12:35am On Aug 04, 2006 |
They don't even know I exist. I don't want to know they exist anymore either! |
| Politics › Re: Nigeria: Our Children Are Hungry by Seun(mod): 12:24am On Aug 04, 2006 |
I live in Sango Ota and most of the children I come accross are more robust than I was when I was young. The only problem is the abuse their loving parents deliver in the name of "discipline". I often have to close my ears in order not to hear a child next door screaming "mummy please" and getting 24 - 50 strokes of body koboko. |

Leave the Uyo girls alone. Their bodies belong to them and they can mess themselves as much as they want! |
| Celebrities › Re: Jessica Alba: What Do You Think Of Her? by Seun(mod): 12:12am On Aug 04, 2006 |
I don't want to love her anymore. I don't want to love any celebrity anymore! |
| Celebrities › Re: Nigerian Stars Don't Have Fansites Or Fan Clubs? by Seun(mod): 9:15pm On Aug 03, 2006 |
Celebrities should go and sit down. We are better off for not being overly obsessed with celebrities. If you need someone to worship, worship me! Otherwise, go to a mosque or church and worship God! |
| Politics › Re: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Has Resigned by Seun(mod): 9:03pm On Aug 03, 2006 |
Months ago, she was removed as finance minister, but remained as head of economic team, so she stayed. Recently she was removed as head of that economic team, so she resigned. That's what happened. |

| Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by Seun(mod): 6:54pm On Aug 03, 2006 |
By the time that happens, the current political office holders will be out of power. So where is the incentive for Israeli leadersto admit the long-term unvaibility of their current actions? Politics favors short-term solutions. |
