By the time that happens, the current political office holders will be out of power. So where is the incentive for Israeli leadersto admit the long-term unvaibility of their current actions? Politics favors short-term solutions.

Why do these big names like to allow their domain names to expire? It happened to Omotola.com too.
WebmastersRe: Choosing a Domain Name? Factors to Consider by Seun(mod): 11:54am On Aug 03, 2006
I also want to mention that it's probably a mistake to register a domain name if you don't know exactly what you want to do with it. You'll just find yourself paying money every year for something you will never use!

BusinessRe: Obtaining A Mortgage Loan In Nigeria by Seun(mod): 11:13am On Aug 03, 2006
Mortgage can easily be arranged, I'm sure. Some people already operate a form of mortgage by using one building as colateral to get a loan to buy another building and so on. The next logical step of using a building as collateral for its own purchase will bring mortgage to Nigeria. Personally, the idea of borrowing money scares me.

Car TalkRe: Should Okada Be Banned In Nigeria? by Seun(mod): 9:17pm On Aug 02, 2006
That you have some people thinking like you is evidence that sometimes people think wrongly. Nothing more.

You don't just wake up one day after drinking too much ogogoro and say you want to ban somebody's occupation. It's immoral and illogical and retroggressive. If you have a problem with a particular okada man, settle it in court. How can you say you want to ban a service that is helping many people to move around? Be careful o.

Perhaps we should ban universities because some students are cult members and prostitutes? We should ban internet business because some people use it for fraud? Ban money because some people steal it? Nonsense!

CareerRe: Can An Employee Ever Be Richer Than His Employer? by Seun(mod): 4:51pm On Aug 02, 2006
Banks are not unaware of that trick. They'll just demand collateral. Your family house. Then when you default on the loan, they'll seize it and sell it to get back their money. And you'll be on the streets!

Car TalkRe: Should Okada Be Banned In Nigeria? by Seun(mod): 4:16pm On Aug 02, 2006
If you spot a dangerous Okada driver who doesn't obey traffic lights, catch him and report to the police.

If you are concerned about accidents, educate the people riding in motorbikes to caution dangerous bikers carrying them or get off and refuse to pay. Anytime I am on an okada, I tell the okada man "gently, please".

If these people are committing crimes, then prosecute the criminals alone. They are not all criminals, are they?

Look, okada riders are as important as mobile phone operators in this new Nigeria. Without them, we will suffer.

If the girl wants to shift the sex forward that will be really cool. I'm an atheist, so I don't mind. https://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/19.gif

The problem is with these girls that will have sex with you, and then go to church on Sunday to confess and claim that you are the one leading them into temptation. Then dump you later 'for God'. Hypocrites!
CareerRe: Can An Employee Ever Be Richer Than His Employer? by Seun(mod): 3:53pm On Aug 02, 2006
Some people will get a little money and immediately start spending. Because they have "arrived". When banks offer give them credit, they believe they must not allow their credit rating to "waste" by not borrowing.

If your employer is like that, then you can be "richer" in a sense because your empployer might have more debts than assets. But he/she will be spending more every month despite the debt. Extravagance is a deadly affliction of many Nigerian businessmen. Given that, you might find yourself richer than your employer!
Car TalkRe: Should Okada Be Banned In Nigeria? by Seun(mod): 3:47pm On Aug 02, 2006
The federal government is incapable of running NEPA and NITEL. It is incapable of sanitising the police force and legal system. How can it be capable of providing substitute jobs for these people? Makes no sense!!

And even if the Federal Government was capable of such magic, why not apportion those miracle jobs to current job-seekers instead of destroying the jobs of honest okada men just because you don't like them?

If an okada rider has offended you, go to a court of law to seek retribution. Hopefully the FG will provide that. If they cannot provide justice, which is their primary objective, how can they provide jobs? Ha!
