agabusta: Ethno-Bigotry carries it. I used to think corruption is our major problem untill Jonathan came around.Exactly, i think ethnicity has help to take corruption to the highest level. It helps legitimised corruption through it's our turn mentality and it's ok if it your tribe man is corrupt, but it's bad if he/she is not. |
i think ethnicity has caused more damage than anything. |
@poster Its unethical because he is an Igbo man abi? GO & DIE! baggar!
Chai!!! Must everything be viewed from tribalistic aproach? Some times calm down and ask questions b4 u start this tribal sentiment. |
This man must have smoked something with too much carbon, otherwise why will they think that changing monkey's clouth will make him not to be mokey again. If they like, they should ware agbada or suit and tie for monkey it will still be money. |
Very funny!!! You see beautiful infrastructures, well organised cities and other developments in Brazil you did not compare but the bad aspect of of Brazil is what you can use to justify the failure of our useless, clueless and worthless government and it agencies. What a shame, i already know that you must be one of d supporters of failure, d trade mark of pdp. |
luvinhubby: When NBS rebased our economy to make Nigeria no. 1 in Africa, APC condemned it outrightly, despite the fact that global financial bodies like ADB, World bank & IMF complimented Nigeria on that.I guess you expect APC to clap for them abi, opposition party attacks the legacies of ruling party anywhere in the world, when Bush was attacking Clinton's legacies or Obama was attacking Bush legacies of both good and bad, Bush and Obama are bad people and their parties are bad? I think many Nigerians are not used to the concept of opposition party except through religion and tribalism. |
luvinhubby: APC is not an opposition party, but rather a political platform fashioned by aggrieved politicians that lost out in the power tussle for the federal, seeking to have access or a return to Abuja influence.Yes, i agree with you in some parts of ur write up, but majority of the people who want APC dead does so because they want PDP to remaine unchallenged for their own personal effect. On the issue of Labour party rising to the status of opposition part, i don't thing any subsidairies of a ruling party can ever be a reliable source of hope for any nation. YES APC is evil, so also PDP is super evil. But my own idea is, if there is no alternative, keep the two evils close to you, then watch out how the will turn good to get your love. |
Kassidy4luv: APC is not an opposition party ?Then tell me any good things PDP has provided that APC hates. My brother be sincere and sentiment free. Forget about the lies and deceit people propagates then tell me why we would'nt need opposition party that is fully anti pdp. |
Kassidy4luv: .......... Ask CHIEF OLISAH METUH...........I'm laughing at all of you that is celebrating the downfall of the only opposition party that could have put pressure on the ruling party to perform better, i knw there must be a reason why you don't want them to suvive, but that reason will come to end oneday and we will be left with the monster we ve allowed to trive with nothing to tame it. That is why it's not good to be shortsighted. |
finally world warIII is about to start as predicted. Anyway i blame US government because they re the one that dismantled the government that was puting them in check. Last week US gov pledge to drop half a million dollars worth of gun to this same people to fight Syrian government. After the fall of syrian government what will they do with the guns? |
hurricaneChris: Hey bro! In six 6years of architecture, you'll go through almost all the courses in environmental science. Because u are expected to know all of them. Someone in quantity survey for example, should not necessarily understand the design criteria. This issue has created lot of misunderstanding between Architects and others. But the truth remains; Architects learn all their courses while in school, while they only study one course in architecture so that they can understand architectural drawings. So forget the case of Architects and others in the environmental organization.Like i said b4, that is typical Nigerian mentality of i know all. If doctor, architect or any other profession feels he has studied a particular related profession and he/she loves it, the best thing to do is to go and recieve the certification in that particular field so that he can practice it. In a standard evironment, no doctor can ever do the job of a nurse and no architect can ever the the job of a planner. It just a shame that our private character is showing up in our professional field. Let me repeat my self again, to have idea in a particular field does not make you a professional in an ideal settings but greed, lawlesness and lack of organisation that has plague our society is what encourages all this things. That is why our nation is in mess today because the right people usually don't take the right place, the powerful takes all. |
Points for effort: Arjen Robben takes a tumble against Mexico Dutchman wins his side a soft penalty to win his side the World Cup last-16 encounter, but where does he rank in the all-time fake tumblers' list? Arjen Robben may be a most excellent footballer, but the prematurely bald Dutchman has a habit of annoying everyone. And while he may not be bothered about winning any personality contests, on Sunday night he did himself no favours by earning a controversial penalty in injury time which ultimately won Holland their last-16 clash with Mexico. Rubbing stroopwafel crumbs into Mexican wounds after Klaas- Jan Huntelaar’s spot kick – gained by Robben after theatrically tumbling under Rafael Márquez’s challenge – booted them out of the World Cup, the Bayern Munich winger had the temerity to admit that he dived in the match. His play-acting over the weekend was far from an isolated insident, however: the 30-year-old has a rash of simulated dives. For instance, here is another beauty of him in 2011 when in Fußball- Bundesliga action three years ago. On that occasion, in a rare small victory for the good guys, he rightfully won not a penalty for his side against Bochum but a yellow card. And here is a compliation of yet more dives, helpfully: But where does the Holland forward rank in the all-time list of worst diving culprits in the game? We have listed eight more below, ending on the one we believe is the biggest cheat. 8. Steven Gerrard He may be England captain, and supposedly brave, honest and true, but the Liverpool midfielder has tried to deceive referees with dodgy falls throughout his long career. 7. Nani Perhaps the Manchester United winger has learnt a trick or two from former teammate and fellow Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo (see below). And also Ashley Young (again, see below). 6. Cristiano Ronaldo He may now be the Ballon d'Or winner, but the former Manchester United winger had a reputation for being something of a theatrical diver. Here, in a video dating back to 2008, are some of his best-worst simultiaons. Old habits die hard, though. Here he is tumbling over himself and screaming for a foul for Real Madrid a couple of years ago. 5. Didier Drogba The Ivory Coast forward – a former Chelsea teammate of Robben's, lest we forget – may be past his best now, at the grand age of 36, but at his peak he was a frightening opponent for defenders. With so much pace, dynamism and strength he was certainly a handful. And with all that power it was staggering how easily he went to ground. Oh yes, Didier, we see you. And even in his vintage he is still fooling referees. He did this in August last year, when Galatasaray were playing at Arsenal The dirty Drog. 4. Gareth Bale The Welshman's habit of going to ground easily has, to be fair, some mitigation in that he is muy rapido. Before he moved to Real Madrid last summer he gained a reputation for being a diver, though. And here's why. Exhibit A: Tottenham against Aston Villa in October 2012. B: Sunderland in May 2013. C: And here he dives against his current employers, for his old ... among many others. 3. Luis Suárez Not wanting to kick a man when he is down (and for fear of being accused by Uruguayans of creating undue negative attention for their leading goalscorer), Luis Suárez is just number three in our list. As we all know, the striker has a history of doing whatever he can to win. In fact, he is unparalleled in this aspect on the football pitch. Four years ago he celebrated his on-the-line handball which stopped Ghana becoming the first ever African country to make the semi-finals of the World Cup. And few months later he produced his first on-field bite fall, and the following January Liverpool signed the Ajax Amsterdam forward for €26.5 million. At the Anfield club he became reknowned for his diving. Here he is being naughty against Stoke in October 2012. And here he is doing something similar for his country. He is a cheat, but let's not forget his propensity for falling. Poor lad. Down and out: Suárez against Stoke(AP) 2. Jürgen Klinsmann Here is the German striker in his prime, playing in the 1990 World Cup final. Klinsmann manged to etch Argentina defender Pedro Monzón's name in the history books, by diving and fooling the 1. Ashley Young The Manchester United winger is our number one, because he really does have a problem with diving. There are plenty of examples, but here he is in 2011 against Manchester City. Here he is in April 2012 against his old club Aston Villa. And he also went over under no touch last year against Real Sociedad. Lastly – in this cluster at least (there are many more) – he managed to win his side a penalty and have a Crystal Palace player dismissed in www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/10935074/Arjen-Robben-joins-list-of-top-9-football-divers-of-all-time-but-where-does-he-rank-compared-to-the-others.html |

Demdem:The truth is that doctors in Nigeria are steping out of their bounderies to affect other profession's right, medical feild is like other feild where we have symbiotic relationship and no prefession can do without others but like every ecosystem one must be at the top of the chain, in this case doctors are at the to top. However every each profession has it role and it should be respected by every members of the sector. Like i said before, it is typical nigerian mentality of vanity, we also see this play out in enviromental sector where architect wants to head planning when we have town planner, architech wants to dominate survey section, they want stake in real estate etc. Due to our greed, lawlesness and unorganised society, every body damble into any thing and if you re powerful enough, you dominate and take it away from the rightful owner. |
What is the problem of this doctors? They don't want other medical practisioners to do their job. They fight over the grade level of pharmacist, they fight over the wages and power of nurses, they fight to head medical lab in their laboratries and now they fight over d importation of medical lab equipments. Typical nigerian mentality of dominate all and achieve nothing. |
HisRoyalHardnes: Best place to keep your enemies is close. He could help unravel boko haram... ESP the sponsors.Who told you government does not know d sponsors of BH and who says pdp is innocent of BH? |
That is what clueless powerful people do? |
that is a good news. |
ok ooo. |
i pray that God will open many eyes. |
redsun: Nigerian populace is under unimaginable hypnotic spell, that is why they sitdownlook like zombies while their roofs are on fire. You ve diagnosed Nigeria's problem, we are too hypocritic in nature and our leaders are not d problem but we the masses for allowing it to happen because of our tribalistic shallow mind. Imagine some defended what our past leaders has done, some silly people are still defending d present leaders while many will stand by d future leaders and the circle will continue. |
BetaThings: The trend continuesUntill we have serious government, the circle will continue irrespective of which tribe or zone is in power. |
well it depends on how close you are and the kind of person the girl is, personaly i have some childhood female friends that can do anything 4 me just like my male friends, some times female friends are more considrate and reliable than guys cos of their emotion and soft heart. Though there will always be a time when you will be tempted to take it further especially when guys starts to knock at d door of her heart, but maturity is the key. |
ok ooO!! Let them keep faulting any report that proved that the event actually happened, after all the report is from the presidential commitee not opposition nor anti government group. |
Though i aplaude obiano for his project in anambra, but i don't like any governor building new government house, i would have wished that d money should be use to support industrial base infrastructural development, since anambra is a well know industrial state. Anyway who am i to talk when anambra people are in support the project. |
