michV: accraimmigration@international.gc.ca or also CSE for paper route and CSE(case specific enquiry) for online applications because using -accraimmigration@international.gc.ca to direct online application may not seem responsive and appropriate because your application may have been routed to another country where there is Canadian embassy Chai. I have applied to the school already and will be getting a feedback by february. I am 31, married and expecting a baby january, I work with a bank in Nigeria. I am going for an Msc program. But Since someone told me an agent told her that anyone above 30years of age going via student route will get rejected by CIC I've been feeling discouraged.
Please I need advice guys. Nope. Not true. I'm almost 40, married with kid but I got my trv this year and doing my MBA now. So pkease do what you need to do. |

Guys I'm a bit confused here. The checklist says all documents should be original not photocopies. Should I submit originals of CAC reg papers, marriage certificate etc? I thought it's only passport that should be original I'm a paper application. Pls help clarify |

jayjayjay007: thanks for your reply. LOE is letter of employement right? Did u do your application on line?
Also:
My course has a co-op semester. when applying for study visa online i was asked "Is work an essential component of your studies?" which i answered yes. Now when i try to do a co-op work permit application online it just directs me to my study application (yet to submit). Because i answered yes to that question does it mean i will get a study and co-op permit same time or how does it work? Sorry dear I'm just seeing your question. Incase no one has responded. LOE i mentioned is letter of explanation category , on the online application. Yes I did online. I'm not too sure about coop work permit as my course doesn't have that. But your study permit will be given to you at the Point of Entry in Canada. |

jayjayjay007: Hello All,
I am applying for Student Visa online. I did a questionnaire and was given a document checklist. This document checklist has no where I can upload my transcripts, letter from employer and upfront police report which i did. Been looking for how to add extra documents as im trying to make my process as fast as possible. Is there a way to go round this or can i still upload them later?
Thanks You can put your transcripts under LOA. All my academic docs went there then police clearance was under LOE along with SOP and others . You can also include yr employers letter there though for me, it was a study leave approval. |

hayqinsbFX: Hello house
is it allowed to bring dried fish along(eja Shawa), If yes which of the bags is it advisable to put it....carry on or main luggage?
I plan to bring along egusi, maggi, pepper(ata gungun), cray fish (ede), garri, poundo yam, beans
Pls can anyone tell me what I might be leaving out
Thanks I even put a tuber of yam bottom bottom of my bag. They didnt dig up to that part because when they saw my bag, they said madam, your packing is correct oh, And they just passed my bags without much digging. I put everything in ziploc bags and labelled them. The yam made the bag heavy sha but i didnt mind bc i had pickup arranged at airport. I went with all youve mentioned , then my spices for stew and 3bottles of groundnuts in plastic bottles. No dry fish tho. Everything i checked in baggage |

In your cic account, check the last update where you got the approval update. Tap that row and it will open up a correspondence letter. That letter should be it. Mine came with the update. metrecube: since your daughter is of school age, she needs a study permit not visiting visa. You need to get her admission into a primary school and apply study permit for her. You could be right. But i saw on cic website that kids of study permit holders can study without permits, thats why i applied for visitor visa for her. And Team12 and Khalesi did same visiting visa for thieir kids. But im now wondering maybe they were successful bc their kids are toddlers and wont be in sch. Or could they be referring parents in canada already? See snapshot below. |

easyxtan: We are both on the same shoe, I got my TRV and my daughter and my mother going as her nanny was delayed. I have defer My admission to spring 2017 and i want to apply for SOWP for my Husband and visiting visa for my daughter. I think you have to start now by contacting Daycare because getting a space for your child takes time and she will be place on waiting list. My dear day care is expensive and the lowest i saw was $850 per month in Vancouver. My daughter is 9month sucking infant and i cant leave her, I am waiting for my daughter Gcms file, then i will apply for her and my husband in September. we will surely cross over in Jesus name Amen. My daughters case sef, i had already applied in after sch care (shes school age) and a few were already responding and giving her slot. I even included the mail trails in the appliaction to show she has after sch care but they still refused her application. Well she will come later. |

Im kind of in the same situation. My daughter's application was refused while mine was approved. So im waiting immedairely i arrive and get a house, i will submit another for her. Processing time for Visiting visa is about a month so i dont even want to applying it alongside the SOWP so it wont delay her coming to join me. Shes 8yrs. Hubby's sowp can be done later. |

I'm having difficulty submitting, i can't find any option of submitting, I'm guessing it's becos i haven't uploaded a medical report, because it's showing somewhere that all docs must be uploaded before proceeding to the next stage. I don't want to do upfront medicals. Thanks Go back and check your answers. Tick no for the question on medicals . |

Mikymiko: Please do CIC accept bank wire transfer advice/telex copy as proof of payment of school fees in place of the school fees receipt?
Because I have sent the telex copy of my school fees to my University on last Thursday but no response yet.
What do I do now as I plan applying for visa next week? Yes you can. Well, it was not an issue for me. I used Telex copy in my application when it was taking too long to get a recipt from my school. But i put a footnote about that reason. Then i also included the email i sent to school where i attached the telex copy, telling them of the payment. It was approved |
