Health / Re: Would You Circumcise Your Baby Girl? by seyibobo(m): 7:33am On May 12, 2009
NO. I would not do it for my daughter or recommend it for anyone.
The question you should ask yourself is: why do you circumcise a baby girl?

No matter what the reason(s) are, the complications are more.
One is Dermoid cyst, haemorrhage and even the risk of HIV . These things are deadly.
There are still more.

So, think twice before you do it.
Health / Re: Any Cure For Stammering? by seyibobo(m): 12:34pm On Apr 27, 2009
Stammering is not a disease but a habit. Which means that
it can be stopped with speech therapy(which i dont think exist in Nigeria).

But without therapy, the following could be useful:

1.Control your breathe. Try to speak one whole line in one breathe.
2.Change your style of speaking.
3.Listen to some great speakers and try to speak like them.
4.Do not think about stuttering while speaking, put your mind on
ither things.
5.Above all remember that you have to face tour fears. Build your
self-esteem.

Beleive in yourself and remember that if it is to be, it is up
to you.

All the best.
Health / Re: Sedative by seyibobo(m): 3:08pm On Apr 25, 2009
The question is Why do you need the sedative?

Stop this self-prescription thing. There is no drug with therapeutic
effect without side-effects. So, talk to those that know about drugs
first.

All the best.

Health / Re: How Do You Cure Depression? by seyibobo(m): 2:54pm On Apr 25, 2009
The secret to avoiding and treating depression lies in
being happy at all times EVEN IF your present condition
does not allow you.

Also avoid worrying and live in the present.

Do not smoke or drink because you are depressed. It
is not gonna help you at all.

Have a healthy diet.

All the best.
Health / Re: How Does Someone Overcome Phobia(shyness To Talk In Front Of Many People) by seyibobo(m): 2:49pm On Apr 25, 2009
I think what you need to do is to build your self-esteem.
Be confident of yourself and give yourself some self-motivation.

Remember that if it is to be, it is up to you. So, go to work on youlself.
All the best

NYSC / Re: How Relevant Is National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) In This Dispensation? by seyibobo(m): 5:41pm On Sep 20, 2008
This is an interseting posts.
Personally, i do not beleive in NYSC.
I think the reason why it was established needs to be revisited.
The program should be improved so that it does not loose its value.
