PoliticsRe: Zaria Bloodbath: Mass Graves Dug By Army Exposed (photos) by shaddoww: 10:52pm On Feb 05, 2016
davidmark4naija:
Okay...

So the Nigerian Army killed 1,000 ppl and buried all of dem at once at a particular place, right?

Good!

So nobody saw when the army was lifting or carrying the over 1,000 dead bodies abi?

How did they transport the 1,000+ dead bodies to the burial ground?

To bury 1,000+ ppl at once, you would need a work force of at least 100 to 200 labourers to dig the graves, transport the corpses to site and bury them.

Did day hire labourers or na only army ppl bury dem?

How come nobody saw all of dis?

It was done at night at about 2am when everybody was asleep.

Okay so they left the dead bodies on road till about 2am, and den came back by 2am to pick dem all up for mass speedy burial? Or after the massacre they picked all the 1,000+ dead bodies and saved dem somewia first before going to bury dem at night, abi?

Ehmmm.... I day come...:/
no mind dem, maybe dey first ask dem to dig d grave b4 killing dem. They claim to av found a mass grave, yet dey are asking for d bodies of their people to b buried according to Islamic right.

Fashola is not a politician. He can't win over 5,000 people in my State grin Even in Lagos, I dont think he can do much on his own.

Fayemi? grin grin Guy is so politically lightweight, if he wasn't cocooned in ministerial security, the political wind would blow him away.

The Minister of Finance? grin Says a lot about her that I cant even remember her name.

I am in a State in the SW that is not APC, yet all political talk here start and end with Tinubu. Tinubu's name is on the lips of every adult in this state, whatever party they belong.

Most people here credit him with masterminding Jonathan's defeat. He is seen as a political Master.

When the die is cast, most people in the SW will line up behind Tinubu, not some light weight politician.

Nigeria is highly tribalistic. You need someone who can play the political game that suits your region.

People like Fashola cannot lead the Yorubas politically. All that grammar he speaks will not resonate in Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun.

Tinubu speaks better grammar than Fashola. Yet, if you put him in Oshodi, he will speak the kind of Yoruba that market women and area boy understand.
Are u in Ondo state? Cos presently everyone here in okitipupa local government are saying he should quickly give dem a candidate they will support.

NYSCNYSC Explains Delayed Corps Members January Allowance - VANGUARD by shaddoww(op): 4:45pm On Feb 04, 2016
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on
Thursday urged corps members to remain calm
over delay in payment of their January
allowance.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mrs
Bose Aderibigbe, Director Media and Publicity
of the corps, and made available to newsmen
in Abuja.
It attributed the delay to discrepancies in
planning figures for 2016 from the NYSC,
Ministry of Budget and National Planning, and
the Ministry of Finance, respectively.
The statement said that the management of
the scheme regretted the delay.
It assured that it was working to ensure all
corps members received their allowance within
a week.

Christianity EtcIs Religion Dying Out? by shaddoww(op): 1:26pm On Jan 31, 2016
Have you given up on organised religion? If so, you are far from alone. In many countries the number of people who describes themselves as 'not religious' is fast growing, a trend that suggests an uncertain future for institutional religion. This is proved by the survey carried out by the Global Index of Religion and Anthems, published by Gallup International.
The following are reasons I think organised religion is dying out:
MATERIAL PROSPERITY : The richer you get, the less religious you define yourself. This observation is significant because in many lands, material prosperity has risen dramatically. In some places, people enjoy a 'standard of living that would have made the greatest king of two hundred years ago turn green with envy'.
RELIGIOUS TRADITIONS AND MORALITY: Many people, especially the young, view organised religion as irrelevant and out of touch. Others have lost confidence in religion. People are now turning away from churches because they no longer believe in them as moral arbiter.
RELIGION AND MONEY : According to the Pew Research Center, a lot of people feel that religion puts too much emphasis on money. Adding to the problem, some religious dignitaries unlike their flocks, enjoy lavish lifestyles. A report in GEO magazine says that in Nigeria, "where 100million people live on less than one euro per day, the flamboyant lifestyles of some pastors is beginning to become a problem.
What do you think?

PoliticsEFCC Arraigns Ex-nimasa Boss, Akpobolokemi, On Fifth Charge by shaddoww(op): 2:15pm On Jan 26, 2016
The Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission has again arraigned a former
Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime
Administration and Safety Agency, Patrick
Akpobolokemi, on 13 counts of alleged N754.7m
theft.
Akpobolokemi was arraigned alongside six
others on Monday before Justice Raliat Adebiyi
of a Lagos State High Court in Igbosere.
The fresh charge marked LD/2181C/15
bordering on stealing and forgery was the fifth
that the EFCC would be filing against
Akpobolokemi between December 3, 2015 and
Monday.
Akpobolokemi had first been arraigned alongside
nine others on 30 counts of alleged N3.4bn
fraud before Justice Saliu Saidu of a Federal
High Court in Lagos on December 3, 2015.
He was again arraigned on December 4, 2015
along with five others on 22 counts of alleged
N2.6bn fraud before Justice Ibrahim Buba also
of the same court.
There is a pending 40 counts of alleged N34bn
fraud against him before Justice Buba, where
he is expected to take his plea on February 8,
alongside a former Niger Delta militant leader,
Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo and
eight others.

Last Friday, the EFCC filed another 22 counts of
alleged N22.7bn fraud against Akpobolokemi,
Tompolo and 11 others.
In the new 13 counts before Justice Adebiyi,
Akpobolokemi was charged alongside six others.
His co-accused, with whom he was arraigned on
Monday, are Ezekiel Agaba, Ekene Nwakuche,
Governor Juan, Vincent Udoye, Adegboyega
Olopoenia and Gama Marine Nigeria Limited.
Among other things, the EFCC alleged that the
accused fraudulently converted to their personal
use a sum of N346,844,680 released to them by
NIMASA for the implementation of Voluntary
International Maritime Organisation Member
