Raaven: our media will only cry , look at those heartless Moroccans who have sold the rights of the Palestinians for their own interests . nothing more . , specially that our president has dissapeared from a month now not a single pic of him , ( officialy got Covid19 and evacuated to germany hospital ) but no news since . some say he died . so algerian politics and army chefs prepare for a serious crisis . it's not time to look for political quarrels with neighbors and Americans. and even if he was here he will do nothing and say nothing too.
and moroccans kings were always close to israelians . an exemple the king of morocco hassan II had in the past, recorded the meetings of arab leaders in morocco in 1965 which were preparing a war against israel and gave them to the israelians allowing them to know the plans of preparations of the egyptian and jordanian armies , thanks to this informations they launched a preemptive attack. and won the six day war in 1967 against egypt and jordan .
another exemple when hassan II died isrealien prime minister were invited and came at his funeral . there was even an israelian diplomatic liaison office in rabat morocco from 1994 to 2000 . the two countries colonize another country and they need international recognition of this occupation. same strategic interests . good move from moroccan politics .
@Raaven. Morocco just announced that it's normalizing ties with Israel in return for US recognizing Western Sahara as part of Morocco. In what possible way do you think Algeria will react given the history?
Mzal3ndo: Tanzania Army recruits in Training. The uploader says its Kenya but on ranks of the officer it clearly says JWTZ (Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania) meaning Tanzania Peoples Defense Force
They couldn't deliver the Helicopters Pakistan ordered because of sanctions.
The Canadian and Austrian companies that make the TB2 engines and FLIR systems sanctioned them.
Again with the Turkish drones. Bayraktar has long since weaned itself from Canadian optics by adopting ones made from Aselsan long ago. The same western sanctions refusing to let Turkey buy US made drones led them down this very path to begin with, and where is Turkish aerospace today? Busy pioneering new technologies and and advancing Turkish military capabilities across the globe, while some people keep laughing that Turkey's defense industry is doomed
You'd be hard pressed to find even a single advanced piece of weaponry even in NATO, that doesn't source for parts and hardware from foreign vendors. This is an extremely weak argument.
kabe1: Turkish army Main Battle Tank destroyed by Russian Air Force airstrikes during fighting in March.
MBT protection is vastly overrated!!
Tanks were never built to survive airstrikes in the first plce and Turkey couldn't risk shooting down Russian Jets either. No matter how good your tank, its useless without air superiority, so this I believe isn't a very good example.
Lurker4Long: Well done Nigeria! I do wonder though, seeing as Iraq and Jordan got rid of theirs, was any thought given to the more capable CH-5?
I'm sure CASC was able to address a bulk of the issues from feedback received before international clients would opt to buy again, especially NAF. In any case NAF diversified it's purchase so I guess there's that.
