A little girl is visiting her grandparents. Her grandma tells her to go brush her teeth, and put on her pajamas. The girl brushes her teeth and hops into bed, but completely naked. Grandma is quite taken aback, and asks the girl why she’s not wearing pajamas. “Oh, I am wearing pajamas! They’re the special environmentally friendly ones” the girl replies, with a wink. Grandma decides to take her chances. She gets into bed, butt naked, and cuddles up to Grandad. “Why are you naked?” he asks. “I’m not naked, I’m wearing those special environmentally friendly pajamas” she says,. Grandad shudders. “You could have at least ironed them.” |
Student Unionism does not pay...that's the moral of the story. The good news is that he stood for what he believed in and the end surely justified the struggle. Kudos to him. Greatest Nigerian Student!!! ![]() |
Some positive news about Nigeria for a change ![]() |
as things stand, nigeria is heading home due to a poorer disciplinary record |
it's just been announced that if the match ends in a draw, zambia would qualify by virtue of having lesser yellow cards than Nigeria |

this is awesome! i had to google the name of the artist. What makes it so unique is that the work is a combination of art and illusion ![]() |
martyns303: Tot oleku is a hit song by ice prince?OLEKU was a name adapted from a film of the same title released some years ago by Tunde kelani's Mainframe. The old yoruba traditional mode of dressing was popularised by that film ![]() |
Is that an iPad in her hands in the second pic? She looks like a pros-titute ![]() |
Complaining alone will not help. I remember in the 80s Nigeria pulled out from WAFU when their shoddy treatment was becoming incessant . Until we treat CAF the same way, they will not treat us seriously - this has been going on for too long ! We all remember Henry Nwosu's disallowed goal in 1988. Then Victor Ikpeba's penalty in 2000 ![]() |
Insanely patriotic ! ![]() |
i'm suprised that said owairan did not make the list ![]() |
Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has attacked the decision by referee Grisha Ghead to award a penalty as the Super Eagles were denied a win in their second Group C game against defending champions Zambiaon Friday. Emmanuel Emenike scored on 55 minutes before the Egyptian referee awarded a penalty to the Chipolopolo which was converted by goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene. DON'T MISS Match Report: Niger 0-0 DR CongoMatch Report: Morocco 1-1 Cape Verde Match Report: Ghana 2-2 DR Congo “It was a bizarre call for a penalty. It was one of the worst calls I’ve seen in the history of football,” Enyeama said during a post-match press conference. “It doesn’t belong to football if we want to develop the football of Africa. We don’t [want to] see such calls for a game of such magnitude – Nigeria, Zambia, defending champions. “I don’t know what’s really happening about the officiating. I’m really mad about it. “The last game we got a point-blank penalty but were not given [it]. The call [against Zambia] is one of the worst calls I’ve seen in [my] life.” Nigeria, who have two points so far in this year's Afcon, will next take on Ethiopia on Tuesda http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/5074/afcon-2013/2013/01/25/3700785/enyeama-zambia-penalty-was-one-of-worst-calls-in-the-history?source=breakingnews&ICID=HP_HL_1 |
during the post match conference goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama fumed "I don't knownthe kind of officiating we are having at this tournament. Even if Africa is having its own football, the officiating should not be this bad. i have never seen that kind of penalty call in my life. That penalty shouldn't have been called" he went on, "In our last match, we had a clear penalty and a red card call which was not iven. Now again we are having a penalty awarded against us" |
Keshi must go! |
can anybody kindly tell us where to catch the match on the web? |
Nollytrash, aka Nollywood needs to learn a thing or two from this short clip. Short, precise and funny. There is room for improvement though. The film was shot in a first world country where food isn't a major problem for most people. Secondly, the Facebook messages being posted by the Schemer in the third scene should have been written in bolder, clearer font and should have been super-imposed on a darker background so that the audience could read the message clearly. Other than these, it's a masterpiece! ![]() |
What people do not understand about leadership/captaincy is that it has nothing to do with longevity, age or popularity. It is an inborn ability. Yobo used to be a very good defender back in the days. But making him the captain has added extra pressure which in contributing to the decline in his game. Normally defenders are natural captaiins but the fact that as a defender, he cannot organise the defence nor take charge, says a lot about his leadership abilities. Shittu would have been a very good captain but he is not a regular in the team as of now. Apart from him, there is no natural leader in the team. Someone who is a natural leader does not need the armband to take charge whenever the situation calls for it. Yobo is an ill wind that wouldn't blow the eagles any good ![]() |
i think both the boy and hazard are both guilty though hazard was the guiltier of the two. As a professional he should have known better. I think the club also has a part to share in the blame cause a 17 year old is too old to be a ballboy and at that age, he is wise enough to know how to play tricks so as to waste time. The ball boys should not be supporters of the team. Ball boys should be neutral and should be changed constantly. We are not hearing anythin again about the ballboy but he deserves the sack as he wasn't professional at all. Ballboys are meant to speedup games by retrieving the ball quickly not delaying the game by holding on to the ball ![]() |
this is a fake picture. he was wearing a blue outfit during our match not yellow ![]() |
naptu2: The thread title, "British High Commission Visits Tinubu" is very funny. When I read it, I had a mental image of the high commission building (with all the high commission staff in it) moving and going to see Tinubu.well, for all your effort at correcting the grammar of the poster, the sentence is correct. It's like saying Nigeria plays Zambia tomorrow at the nations cup. We all know the word "Nigeria" in this case represents the players (who are themselves representing the nation) and not the whole country ![]() To other things, i'm yet to understand the purpose of the visit and in what capacity did they visit Tinubu? and to the op, there is no such thing as the Asiwaju of Yorubaland ![]() |
fashola seems to have aged a bit; that apart, the Shmidt guy needs to learn a thing or two about etiquette. He shouldn't be crossing his legs while on an official visit. That appears rude |
My advice to you is 1. don't let the bottle break oh! or else that's the end of your claim. 2. Also make sure you have witnesses. 3. Also if the company asks you to give them the bottle for analysis don't agree to this as that would be a ploy to collect the bottle from you 4. Get a very good lawyer ![]() |
the "enfante terrible" of the nigerian entertainment industry ![]() |
we used to have a teacher who wore undersized trousers that were not long enough and always had his socks showing so we nicknamed him "michael jackson" ![]() |
matters arising 1. i blame a technically inept keshi. He failed to pass instructions to the guys from the bench. 2. Inexperience - an experienced team would have taken the ball to the corner flag and tried to wind down time 3. bad goalkeeping - Enyeama dissapointed. A good goalkeeper would have been able to stop the shot. Enyeama is not good at shop stopping 4. Bad refereeing. Where did 4 minutes injury time come from? The referee was obviously working against us and we played into his hands in addendum... The team lacked technical depth and they tend to tire out quicky. Nigeria is no longer a powerhouse in African football but an average team. The most we can expect from our next two matches is a point and i don't see us making it past the group stages ![]() |
congrats osaze! someone said he would never consider the name 'Stephen' for his son ![]() |
