Hello Everyone, @Justwise , i hail oooo, just want to ask if any one has flown with Egypt air to the US before , the reviews online is not so encouraging but they kind of pocket friendly for me now... |
frenzyduchess:Eeeyaaa,Your level of intelligence is highly appreciated. |
frenzyduchess:Why cant you be civil and sensible, this does not concern you why come online and show your stupidity. |
last35:The man is frustrated, however as someone said earlier the wife is frustrating him, Speak to the man,he should have patience and endure ,go out and hussle...I feel the mans pain being out of work for a while if not handle well can lead to breakdown mentally for the man. In all they both need to exercise patience ,things would work out. |
biggerboyc:Afganistan nkoo are u ready |
This is getting serious,Mr Dapo Olorunyomi that i know would not publish fake stories, i could remember how he was harassed and he eventually fled the country in the early 90's by the Govt,as a reporter of the Herald newspapers, but i think by now he should take it easy ,Nigeria as a whole is not ready for credible reporting |
Ddoy2003:Thanks and God bless...on the other note i am a guy ooo .. ![]() |
Hi my people, how unna dey, please has anyone flown Egyptair before ,want to have an idea before i book the flight. |
Amosun s second term is a disaster, the abandoned projects from sango to Oke-Aro thru to berger ,Alagbole is a death trap ,you can pass thru that place without using Alabukun or paracetamol. |
Ogbeni Rauf is still trying but that one called Mr Amosun of Ogun state ohhhhh my in terms of road ..Zero all projects abandoned.. |
Justwise and the NL family, may God continue to bless this group, the information gotten here is always useful ,knowledge is power, I always find myself coming back to read here everyday, thanks all for keeping the group alive, as we have hanged boot since last missionary journey sometimes this boots have a way of falling from where it is hanged.....bless everyone. ![]() |
The Governor of Ogun state and his team has done a real wicked act by abandoning this road, the contractors are gone, the road is in a bad state,i dont know what is wrong with ogun state and bad roads ,same thing coming from Abeokuta to lagos via the express is very bad,if you cannot complete a project don't start and abandon it,The Governor has been building this bridge for over 4 years now ,a bridge of less than 1 km,some leaders need to be stoned. This Alagbole bridge has caused so many accidents, loss of lives and damage to cars, even a palliative measure to alleviate the suffering of the people was not done, the same way the bridge at Akute was abandoned . Let the Governor learn from the Lagos state Governor Ambode, little projects but touching lives and on time completion...very very sad. |

This is a good move, everybody supports however there are other things people fail to realise. 1) Same govt gets revenue from the charcoal exporters, what happens to this revenue generated. 2) In each of the sites for charcoal business you have local govt officers who are to monitor and regulate some of this govt policies. 3) Charcoal Business is a business of long term contracts,a stipulated time frame should have been giving to enable those who have 1 year contract to terminate the contract ,some have charcoal production ongoing after collecting funds from clients for startups where do they make refunds, alot of litigation issues would arise. A total Ban is appropriate, how does the govt intend to regulate the Charcoal that enters lagos daily for those that fry Akara or food vendors that use it. There are so many things that can be exported apart from charcoal. exporters should look for other things. Cashew nuts Ginger Bitter Kola Dried fish. However people startup with charcoal because the capital for startup isn't as massive as the rest,The banks wont give loans, the unemployment rate is high. As Olisa Agbakogba SAN said the country is in depression. The govt should have carried exporters along. |
The decision by the federal government to liberalize the petroleum downstream sector is inevitable given the acute resource constraint that the country is faced with at this time. The overregulation of the sector and the subsidy regime had put enormous pressure on government finances and on our foreign reserves. It was evident that the policy choice was not sustainable. The review is in the long term interest of the economy and the people. Petroleum subsidy management has been characterised by serious transparency issues for several decades. There are two components of the subsidy phenomenon. The first is the actual subsidy, which is the differential between the pump price and the landing and other costs of fuel. The second [and more disturbing component] is the blatant corruption inherent in the fuel subsidy regime. For several years, the Nigerian economy suffered severe bleeding from this phenomenon; with subsidy payments in the one trillion naira threshold, and even more. In an economy with huge deficit in economic and social infrastructures, it was simply scandalous. It is in the overall interest of the economy and citizens for it to be discontinued. One of the critical elements of the Oil and Gas Sector reform, particularly the downstream sector, is the complete deregulation of the sector. This will create a number of advantages for the economy. 1. It will free resources for investment in critical infrastructures such as power, roads, the rail systems, health sector, education sector etc. The deficiency in all of these infrastructure areas is phenomenal. Fixing infrastructure will greatly improve productivity and efficiency in the economy and impact positively on the welfare of the people. 2. It will boost private investment in the downstream oil sector especially in petroleum product refining. This will ultimately reduce importation of petroleum products and ease the pressure on the foreign exchange market as well as foreign reserves. 3. It will eliminate the rampant patronage, rent seeking activities and corruption that currently characterise the downstream oil sector. 4. It will improve product availability and eliminate fuel queues 5. It will create more jobs for the teeming youth of the country in the downstream oil sector as investment in the sector improves. However, for the objectives of the new policy to be achieved, the current foreign exchange policy needs to be urgently reviewed to improve liquidity and transparency in the foreign exchange market. Only a limited success will be achieved if the current rigidities in the management of the foreign exchange market persist. Muda Yusuf DG, LCCI |
Disaino:To understand the extent this guys are willing to sacrifice their lives ..please visit the Military hospital,Yaba, when one sees the injury they have sustained fighting for the country we would curse our past chief of Army staffs for providing them with substandard weapons. I hope this administration can continue with the pressure on boko haram and also the welfare of those injured,i shed tears when i saw a soldier who lost both legs and an arm . God bless the Nigerian Army,God bless Nigeria,United we stand...We shall overcome those enemies within and outside our borders. |

we would like to know his achievements in the last couple of years he has spent in govt, apart from grooming thugs in Ojodu berger and the beer parlour he owns around Ogba Ojodu Berger axis fortunately he may become Governor of Kogi state unfortunately the people of Kogi would hear it,Kogi people your allocation would be shared in bordillon by the Lion KING.. |
I would advice based on experience as a site contractor you are limited probably if you are the greedy type you would enjoy selling the used batteries for inverters at the site, however with power, you would learn the infrastructure of building ,you would learn the layout of how to build a DC from scratch to finish in terms of input and output, build on professionalism and also take some professional courses, there are some certifications with experience that we have limited Nigerians that have the certifications,Stand out and master power its the future for this country..wish you all the best as you choose your career path...above all God s blessing is the koko of the matter. All the same, congratulations and may God see you tru.
|

How I wish Half of the protesters know the history of what they are fighting for On the 10th January 1970, Lt. Col. Ojukwu, the self proclaimed Head of State of Biafra, on realizing the total chaotic and hopelessness of the situation, handed over to the Commander Biafran Army Maj. Gen. Phillip Effiong, the administration of Biafra and flew out of the enclave with his immediate family members in search of peace. Maj. Gen. Effiong consulted with the Biafra Strategic Committee on the situation and they decided that enough was enough and that the only honorable way out was to surrender. In his surrender announcement to the people of Biafra on Radio Biafra, part of Maj. Gen. Effiong address said: Fellow Countrymen, As you know I was asked to be the officer administering the government of this republIc on the 10th of January, 1970. Since then I know some of you have been waiting to hear a statement from me. Throughout history, injured people have had to result to arms in their self defense where peaceful negotiation have failed. We are no exception. We took up arms because of the sense of insecurity generated in our people by the events of 1966. We have fought in defense of that cause. I am now convinced that a stop must be put to the bloodshed which is going on as a result of the war. I am also convinced that the suffering of our people must be brought to an end. Our people are now disillusioned and those elements of the old regime who have made negotiations and reconciliation impossible have voluntarily removed themselves from our midst. I have, therefore, instructed an orderly disengagement of troops. I urge on Gen. Gowon, in the name of humanity, to order his troops to pause while an armistice is negotiated in order to avoid the mass suffering caused by the movement of population. We have always believed that our differences with Nigeria should be settled by peaceful negotiation. A delegation of our people is therefore ready to meet representatives of Nigerian Government anywhere to negotiate a peace settlement on the basis of OAU resolution. Part of Maj. Gen. Yakubu Gowon, the Head of the Federal Government's speech to accept formally the declared surrender and the end of the civil war read: Citizens of Nigeria, It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that I announce to you that today marks the formal end of the civil war. This afternoon at the Doddan Barracks, Lt. Col. Phillip Effiong, Lt. Col. David Ogunewe, Lt. Col. Patrick Anwunah, Lt. Col. Patrick Amadi and commissioner Police, Chief Patrick Okeke formally proclaimed the end of the attempt at secession and accepted the authority of the Federal Military Government of Nigeria. They also formally accepted the present political and administrative structure of the country. This ends thirty months of a grim struggle. Thirty months of sacrifice and national agony. |
