If true that Nascon sells salt to Niger, if also true that dangcement sells cement in Niger, then you know what to expect.
Those products will get to Niger Republic one way or another. It's time for smugglers to make a kill.

I suspect dangote food may catch up with BUA food
That is the grand plan. Alhaji always like to top any industry he finds himself. And this will also make increase his net worth.

You real be funny guy.Go check my past post.i am an investor and long time one.i bought total when cp talked about it.And I did my DD.My BE is 237.I have not sold okomu I bought at #50 na total I wan sell.Total paid me #24 while Dan cement paid me #20. Total did not declear loss meaning it can still pay #24
It's nothing serious bro . Now check this out , your BE is 234 and as it is, the share price looks saturated at the current price cos the result declared was flat . All indicators points at a pull back at least until Q3 result comes out .

So does it not make sense to book profit now , wait for the pull back that is most likely, come back in with the loot , which will now get you more units and more dividends yields. Long term investing is not devoid of smart trading . Trade plans and strategies differs . Whatever works for you bro. All the best.

False alarm.

35 trades waiting right now and 20 trades cleared already, so how are investors trapped? explain
When exit becomes difficult, that is trapped. Regardless, Totalenergies still remains one of the best companies in the market. I will gladly jump in at 197.

How is one investment traped in total when it is not a dead company. That its result is flat does mean something is wrong with the company. Not everyone is a trader.
Lol ... Your blood too dey hot ... I understand sha ... Try put in an offer at 10% low and let's see if it will fly.

Totalenergies don trap people. The frog and boiling water story comes to mind.

To the extent that Dangsugar is tending towards full bid @32.65
I spoke about it on Monday when those that panicked were selling . Those that pay attention to the post and understood the message will smile heavily to the bank when Dangote Food finally come on board. Shalom

Bargainers are watching ETERNA, forget the way they're looking away now. smiley

When news surfaced for Dangsugar, they all were there on queue to buy......no one is talking about the loss again..
Those that panic sold @24.40/25 would be regretting their actions by now.

Let's keep watching how Mr. Market will do its thing..
You are spot on

...gradual decline is more dangerous than the fast one. I prefer the latter as it can be quickly checked shocked
However, this market remains bullish, but expect "small" bear
grin grin grin grin grin
Sentiment drives NSE . The bullish run that we experienced between June - July was a result of the sentiment behind the removal of subsidy and FX floating.

The euphoria those sentiments brought are now over and I don't see any catalyst propelling a general bull at the moment. We might experience some selective rallies but not a general bull run for now

The short term fixed income rate is beginning to look , if it continues to look good , it will further down the equity market cos attention will shift towards there.

CASH IS KING right now

This is also a faceless forum, please share the theory
It's playing out already ... Dangote Sugar maxed the 10% daily gains at the end of the day , after opening at 7% loss. Like I said earlier ... Last Last, Alhaji will not lose ... If you are already in the bus , Please Don't Panic .... Dangote Food...
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 1:18pm On Aug 01, 2023
Last Last Alhaji will not lose . If you are in the Sugar and Nascon bus, please don't panic . Alhaji's gain will eventually be your gain. Dangote Food ...

What is happening to DANGSUGAR?Why haven't they come with the outcome of the meeting concerning the planned merger?
A lot of ojoro is going on in that space. I suspect a heavy foul play in the Dangote Sugar result. Everything about the result looks really GOOD except the FINANCE COST ... THE FINANCE COST ruined the result completely. Alhaji and his people know what they are doing. Last Last, Alhaji will not lose . I wish I can share my theory about the whole play right here , but this is a public forum. I wish everyone good luck. As the fixed income rate becomes more attractive, the equity space will become more bearish. The chart is not look good on this side at all. A lot of companies will shed off their June - July profit in August - September, please trade with caution. Over and Out. Shalom

It looks like I am going to go in at 14 NGN, can't find any offer below 14, is N14 a fair price for UCAP?
Caution! Give it some time.

Exactly. I don't know what the panic is all about.
I thought I'm the only one that's seen the opposite of "run" that some were shouting.
You are not the only one. I strongly believe it will end well with Dangote Food. Alhaji no dey carry last , he won't let BUAFOOD trash him . Dangote Food will be rewarding if you can be patient.

Good morning this Reddy Morning
Last last Alhaji will not lose, he will use Dangote Food to make up for the Dangote Sugar loss . If you are already in the bus , don't panic. Things are not as bad as they seems. The cash flow is still very HEALTHY. The Dangote Sugar result would have been a very good one if not for FINANCE COST . The company is still as strong as ever. This is not a buy / sell / hold recommendations . Due diligence please. Shalom

Moral of the story : Never fall in love with any stock ... You can never love Dangote Sugar more than Dangote ... You can't love BUAFOOD more than Rabiu ... Always book profit whenever you have a good return , especially a return that is above inflation rate. Shalom

NASCON
- I didn't open it yet......but it seems the red here already turned green in market...

https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/39126_NASCON_ALLIED_INDUSTRIES_PLC-_QUARTER_2_-_FINANCIAL_STATEMENT_FOR_2023_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_JULY_2023.pdf

TRANSCORP
- Seems someone somewhere is preventing the price from moving up.....
Trying to keep it @3.60 for quite some while now.....
- Once 3.60 offer is picked up, he supplied another one at that price......
- Are they keeping it down till they're done digesting the result? Only time will tell....
Nascon too sweet

Folks go manage the dividend...
At least they paid dividend every quarter...
Cool , I wish you go luck bro. Trade plans and objectives differs . I sold my entire Totalenergies yesterday, I will sell all my Seplat today ... I'm still contemplating about my banks and Mr Sugar . The Dangote Food thing might be a good deal but the general energy radiating in the market is not looking good. I'm likely to sell 95% of my entire portfolio today , it's time to hibernate. One can tell the direction the market is heading as the excellent results delivered by Wema Bank did not translate into full bid . Time to sell and enjoy my profit . Catch me at PEKA tonight , I will be chilling with small plastic Origin. Shalom

Market may react positively to this credentials
There is no catalyst to propel a general bull for now. The Northward movement will now be selective. Companies with strong Q2 result like MRS will definitely rally, interim dividends might also make others enjoy little upside. Short term instruments are beginning to look good , 1 year TBills is now about 12%. Investors are likely to start paying more attention to that space, if the rate keeps inching up. At this point CASH IS KING cos a lot of companies will trade at a bargain in coming days. Shalom

I have this feeling that conoil and eternal oil results will be good. Eternal oil result might show face today
Eternal Oil was part of the six companies that got the petrol import license for the month of July. The news made them one of the best performing stock from June till date. Let's see if their Q2 result will align with their present price. Fingers crossed.

Wow. Just saw it now. Not too much improvement, just slight.
Seplat is what I am really waiting on. I expect them to declare a good result although it appears like the best results should come from the banks.
Seplat made Totalenergies flat result looks good. Only the banking sector is completely immune at this point. Seplat don spoil the weekend groove wey I plan.

The result is quite disappointing especially when you compare it with MRS' fantastic result. MRS is definitely going on FULL BID tomorrow.
