Obama's approval rating is 52% and this is considered to be very high, so there is no way GMB's approval rating is 64%. I can't imagine that 64% of Nigerians after suffering through the fuel and forex scarcity and badly handled sectarian violence would give the president a thumbs up. The only part of the country where his approval rating could be anywhere close to 64% is the north. This figure fails the common sense test.

There is no way that his current approval rating is anywhere near 64%. Perhaps it was close to 100% initially and this skewed the results.
