doxijaw:Yes, same with women- look elsewhere. Una go come go jam South African women, later come dey complain say dey are vindictive. |
And who says the mercenaries can't be our neighbors like Chad and Nigeriens? Presently our army is demoralized, they need extra support if our C-in-C is discerning. Cameroon whose army is strong seems to be using the help of Chad mercenaries also, Niger has capable ninjas which we saw being used when our boys hijacked a plane that landed in Niger years ago. The money used to rehabilitate the boko haram guys or pay ransome should as a matter of urgency be diverted to these mercenaries if we are SINCERE as a nation. Anyway, once the Northerners are READY to end this insurgency nonsense it will end. |
Masterito:My Whatsapp number is available.... So, chat me up introducing yourself and your relative FORMALLY. |
This one is fresh due to good life, good pay, rest of mind and weather. Though in Africa too we have cool/cold countries eg South Africa and others like Cameroon. Surprisingly highlands like Bamenda, Bafoussam, Santa, Ndu are cold at least for Nigerians/Africans and people here dress with hoods, jackets, socks on slippers and shoes, gloves and the likes. In Santa, snow (ice ) was picked and Ndu is almost like one of the coldest places. These highlands usually have naturally clean water from underground. Places like Douala and recently Yaounde( due to population) are warm like Nigeria. So, someone who eats the cheaper food here+ the cool weather( you sleep with socks, sweater and gloves) and snaps photo will similarly be looking fresh ( lol). I tap into such grace. |
Easter is coming ( and just like Christmastime), beefing up securities and tightening things so, things, commodities will still be high, not a really merry Easter with affordable food and things. Anyway, just 2+ more years remain. We will see by then whether Nigerians have TRULY learnt their lessons or not. May God keep us all alive. |

Before I comment, I have consistently noticed some people forming mother counsellors on Nairaland and their constant duty is to bash only women. My question is, wetin women take offend you in your previous life? Now, I have read both sides. I do not understand why I will just be in a relationship ( not marriage) and be having a JOINT account, please is this account with my spouse? Then, some men wen dey never see your pant, they read meaning to everything the lady says even if she has good intentions. They are easily infuriated, always putting words in someone's mouth. You will then be tensed to relate with them. Marriage and relationship should be of conducive, peaceful and enjoyable one. Any relationship putting a strain on you instead of a blessing and you glowing is a red flag. I hope true love exists between the 2 of you, not that ' I must date a working class lady' or just for fame sake, ' na me marry that manager for my office'. You can both give yourselves one more try, but I see the man wanting more submission ( even in sex) from the lady while the lady is not an easy bone to crack be it subtly. If he is already cheating, then it means he has lost faith in the relationship and the lady too must not allow one man to decide her marital fate. Even inside this nairaland, potential husband and wife dey for both of una( lol) apart from looking outside the shores of Nigeria: Africans etc. It will end in praise. Sometimes it may be you were both just meant to be GOOD friends and nothing more ( be discerning). |
Release of quantities of maize benefits companies not individuals. Hoping that it will force down prices of things maize is used to produce if not, no effect on the masses. If it were countries like Benin/Cotonou, Cameroon, maize is very much like a staple food like garri since it is processed and used for daily consumption with their soups( eg groundnut soup for Cameroonians) and for pap. This is in lieu of garri and flour( yam, cassava, semo varieties) that we cherish. Unless CBN releases this for Nigerians to grind in place of rising cost of garri etc. |
RichardRandy:We know that crime is the past time of many Nigerians. You need to STAY where Cameroonians are talking generally about Nigerians. You will think they can't distinguish tribes in Nigeria, they may not be experts in it but trust me, you will be shocked. Some even go joking speak the way Igbo man dey talk. They know us by our intonations apart from our names. Even the name thing once you say you just bear Igbo like names and are not Igbo, they understand. Say, you think Cameroonians no know Igbo's for eg Douala, or Marche A (Sens interdit ) & Marche B in Bafoussam selling spare parts? It is just that Cameroonians are peace loving and friendly. Besides, it is what they say on a regular basis when Nigerian issues come up that I'm narrating. All our music, na Cameroonian go first dance am and advertise am even if some websites threaten banning non- Nigerians from accessing those sites. However, there is POOR publicity of their music and films( even when they collaborate with some Nigerians)- a big business for Nigerians to look into. All tribes are loved, but we must all drop our bad sides especially when outside Nigeria. |
In Cameroon, they respect Igbos for their business prowess however, they FEAR them because they see them as desperate beings ready to do ANYTHING including joining cults to make money. It is commonplace to hear Cameroonians saying they are afraid of just coming to Nigeria ( referring more to the Eastern region) and cite examples of Cameroonians who went with their Igno friends for holiday and were almost slaughtered /kidnapped after few days being a foreigner, if not for the kind hearted Igbo friend who brought them helping them to escape. Igbo people, please make una dey dear God, remember say sometimes people lump up all those bearing Igbo /similar names who are not Igbos( Aniomas, Benue people)...Bikonu |
wizygreat2000:Yams( just like rice here) is gold in Cameroon and they love Naija yams. If only more yams can come in to reduce its present price. |
It will never be well with fraudsters within and outside Naija. Make dem pray to live long sef |
It will be nice if this woman and her type eg Oby Ezekwesili, Adesina give back to Nigerians in form of scholarships, foundations that help with grants for business growth-- I hope they are not too tight fisted. |
Jac007:A safer country like Cameroon ( not the anglophone side or far North) needs our yams ( expensive) just as we need rice. Snail is not really found as well. |
May God expand Ibom Air to the extent of flying to nearby countries like Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea etc in no distant time |
I'm sure d husband is d type dat still want sex with his wife of 64 and d woman say no. I'm sure d man is also about ,70plus years. This could cause such hatred for d wife of his youth. Also, if d man built d house nd has six grown up children, d first wife still owns d house. Also, Incase d man died, d children will throw away d new obiageli from their house. Except if it is a rented house. So, let d first wife relocate to a smaller place for her peace of mind, we are in a wicked world nd also endtime when men's heart is snared nd desperately wicked. It is well let God judge what no man can judge. *What my mum said |
Bags of rice that will not be enough for all especially the youths. I hope the youths will wake up before 2023. Meanwhile, Benin/Cotonou is almost like the safest country in Africa. |
Giant of Africa which way? In Cameroon and Benin/Cotonou it is 24/7 light and easily available meters of 4000-5000 francs& 10000-20000francs respectively. Despite the 24/7 light, you just pay what you use. Nigeria is making these places seem like London in terms of electricity. |
Countries like Cameroon, Ghana, Benin/Cotonou no dey talk religious crisis, na the giant of Africa? This must stop. |
MtnBenin is the fastest network in Benin/Cotonou especially if you use a mifi. Similarly its 3g/4g in Nigeria, you need a mifi but a mifi is not possible to use when roaming. MtnBenin I think has Momo transfers to countries outside it( especially the francophone ones). MtnCameroon has zero link with Nigeria even when they are closest neighbors such that you can't do MOMO money transfers between both countries unlike between Cameroon and Gabon/Equatorial Guinea etc( those within the CEMAC not ECOWAS axis). All Mtn should come together and BUILD a strong money transfer system that is safe, affordable to use and connecting the African continent |
Is there a way an agreement can be reached with your father in law that money will only be sent to him if his ATM card can only be with him and if possible that you would want to know how he spends the money( his daughter, your wife can keep such records for him). Also, is your wife working? If she is, let her give her dad money, adding to what you give. If she no dey work, let her fund something doing knowing she has a demanding family. Don't send money to your father in law for his rent but directly to his landlord. I would have said you also not send money but things in kind, anyway use wisdom. |
But Nigerians are generally being humiliated by Ghanaians especially with their laws, have u heard that in Cameroon? Swanzi: |
All I see is the problem of pre-paid meter. Nigerians suffer unnecessarily to get it and still no regular light. In Cotonou, it is between 10,000 to maximum of 20,000 cfa( DURABLE) for your personal meter which comes for u to use card on as a tenant/landlord. In Cameroon, 4,000-5000cfa to get personal meter, it is not card type but it is near transparent in calculation by your landlord eg if you see 19, it means 19X 100= 1900 cfa for that month. These are countries with almost 24/7 light and if there is no light, know they are maintaining/servicing it and it is RARE. Besides, it can be installed by anyone with small electrical knowledge and when u are leaving the compound, you can carry it away. Getting prepaid meter is headache in Nigeria and u still pay outstanding bill for wetin u know nothing about, this light to be changed by PHCN especially if the tenant knows nothing about the bill. God help our clueless leaders at both government and private sectors |
The average Nigerian knows more about Ghana than Cameroon that is next door( from the 'backyard') even when Cameroon shares more cultural ties with Nigeria eg the Efik/Ibibio + Taraba people. Besides Cameroonians are friendlier than Ghanaians. It is when you are not in Cameroon, you get the impression that they might not be friendly probably due to their 'force' there. The average Cameroonian supports a Nigerian and sees no competition between them. So far you arrive and get their id card you will be fine in Cameroon so you are not charged like an outsider for certain things. Remember the French follow 'assimilation' method and provided it is not negative, it is welcome. Anyway, I don't blame Nigerians as the head of both countries don't collaborate enough unlike eg Nigeria and Ghana. |
Cameroonians are natural farmers and apart from Yaounde, food is generally more affordable in Cameroon than Nigeria. Besides, there Hausa Cameroonians who are great farmers & cattle rearers but pig meat is a great delight for Cameroonians apart from fish or chicken. Nigeria is where their market is, anyway cheaper food for Cameroonians. |
Luno is S-C-A-M --BEWARE. Since they have been making money from Nigerians which small give back game/promo have they done for Nigerians but they can hoard your hard earned money even if u have no business with bitcoin. Peer to Peer at your own risk with no one to listen to you if your money goes. In no fit trade stocks. Online stock trading in Nigeria is growing eg meristem. Why do you like anonymous crypto that tracing fraudsters will be hard ....Nigerians must get sense by force |
comrodioodio001:If Okowa deserves applause, it is for good road as even villages have good roads even for people like us visiting there for the first time, I was impressed. If I want to understand his government, he feels there is need for private bodies running such enterprises ( eg Delta line which he sold to an Igbo firm since they know business and can run it better) with government have sone percentage ( stake) of it. Anyway, so far it is well run and not so expensive ( fares). If Nigeria had concessioned its refinery, maybe it would have been better sending it out to be refined and importing it. Okowa can do more though. I like his love for peace and peaceful body language which transcends to how he governs the State( maturely& fatherly). May God continue to give us intelligent, technocrats as leaders. |
The best thing to have been done by this government is the ban. All successive governments in Nigeria should likewise toe this path. Legitimate, anonymous crypto ( apart from even the ponzi ones) MUST not be in the hands of Nigerians with a society filled with scammers( the average Nigerian is one). If online money trading too hungry Nigerians, there is the stock market. There is need for more participators. Some Stockbrokers now run things almost entirely online, you don't even need to visit their offices. Check out meristem, a reputable, federal government accredited Stock brokerage firm with an online platform: meritrade, and you can trade by simply sending them an email. I'm not advertising for them but it seems many Nigerians may be unaware of this GOOD alternative. You see many Nigerians ignorantly sharing and advertising ponzi, compromised schemes ignorantly all in the name of investment. Nigerians no go hear word until dem entire one chance with online scammers. If anything, Nigerians/Africans steer clear from LUNO- na beg I beg una. Anyway, a word is enough for the wise AnonPoet: |
So, how will those outside Nigeria get this NIN conveniently so they can still access their Nigerian accounts without stress? |
[quote author=lifewithgeenie post=99044764]Wow. Could you pls drop the name of the university or the link. Thank you[/quote Chat me up. Introduce yourself also when chatting up |
southpole:My 'orphan' male friend from IMO State, 1) went to LASU 2) Bought a house at Ejigbo 3) Married his fellow IMO woman and I think they have 3 kids now. More players are needed in the Nigerian stock market. It is regulated & safer. Only those who can afford to lose their capital or money at any time should do bitcoin. In all u do with bitcoin, steer clear of LUNO |
