Nope but I lived with cameroonians throughout my university years. Very similar culture with south eastern/south Nigeria especially for the anglophones but Cameroon is much worst than Nigeria.

The average Nigerian knows LITTLE about Cameroon but so much of Ghana( where they see them as competitors) etc.

Dear Nairaland,
I am in a state of dilemma now. Choosing between going for masters and pursuing my passion of studying medicine is quite difficult for me.

I studied chemistry Education, graduated well, served and I'm now teaching. I am barely two years into the profession and I am already tired of it. I feel I deserve a career not just a work. A career in medicine for me is something that I belive will make me happy. it's something I can do even if I'm not paid for....I'm 25 years and I feel I have no time again.

I hope to go pick up a JAMB form this week to pursue my passion and happiness. I will not want to make any mistake here. So I believe hearing from people who have been in this shoe will guide me.

I studied Physics science years ago and now in Cameroon studying Nursing( many private institutions offer this course and other allied health courses)

This should replace the NYSC program which is already becoming rusty and risky with all the insecurities in the country.
Money that would have been giving to corpers in 6 months-1 year should be given as grant/seed/capital as start up fund.

More Nigerians should go into farming. In Cameroon, food item/s is/are the cheapest you can get even if one is poor.

I know if an Igbo man is president, he won't watch the exchange rate go bad for Naira or allow only few sea ports to work, or allow passport to be printed in Malaysia when it can be mass produced inside Aba or elsewhere in Naija.
An Igbo man will not shut Western Union/Money gram out of Nigeria since business persons/students transiting businesses ( even small ones) and students would need alternative means of getting out money from Naija. Igbo man will not fight corruption to the extent that 3 square meals will be taken out of the common man's table.

We should not allow stupid politics to reduce our logical reasoning, fairness and equity. Nigeria is for ALL OF US.
