Oh and ssn they told will take 10 days. I think it came like 5 days later. All this is possible if you're in a city with fast process. This was part of my choice for still sticking with Atl this time around. Oh and I forgot to mention, I opted for an induction at 38 weeks coz I was tired of waiting for nature lol . So it helped me plan accordingly coz I already knew when baby will arrive. But this is me oh....I'm weird like that.

Yes it is. I had my baby in Atlanta. Got birth certificate in 24 hrs from Vital office. My husband arrived immediately I had my baby. Filled passport form and went to get it himself. He lived in Atl for 15 years so he drove from US passport office to Nigerian embassy at Roswell and his Georgian licence acted as US resident ID. Got both passports 2 days later. Carried our kaya and left when baby was a week plus.

It helps if you're in a State with Naija embassy. Coz their wahala can be a bit much.

Abeg has anyone flown Qatar recently? Are they turning people back?

You were given the opportunity to state whether you are pregnant during the interview and you blew it. Deportation at the Poe is possible and renewing that visa will be a tough call

You should be looking at flights more than 8 hrs becoz Dubai to and city in the US is at least 8 hours. You might be fine from naija to Dubai leg

Olaboss, follow these steps:

Get a notepad and pen
Find hospitals in the area suggested by Dwebb55 and write down their numbers
Search physicians affiliated with them. Find their numbers too.
Put credit on your phone, check time difference then start calling all of them to ask for price for self-pay patient.
Make sure YOU STAY AWARE FROM BIRTH CENTRE that your cousin was going to hook you up with, stay away from Medicare/Medicaid. It will affect your visa oh. No go yankee go do sharp girl oh lol.
Anyway follow these steps and Dwebb55's advice. Goodluck.

I used Dr Abrams, 2 years ago. He charges $120. I have to go back to my folder of receipts for the name of his clinic but it's in Norcross. 12 mins from the hospital. If you tell Northside you are using Dr. Abrams they know him and have his details. Wait oh, hope Northside is still 3550?
