It is better to speak the truth rather than peddle some islamaphobic cheap talks that are floating around. Taqiyya does not mean to tell lies to advance the course of Islam rather it is refers to a facility to protect yourself from harm by saying something seemingly contrary to your belief if indeed the harm will be meted out to you in case you dont say it. So taqiyya is not a means employed to propagate Islam. Also, lying is means 'Kizb' in Islam and does not mean 'taqiyya'. Hypocrisy means 'nifaq' in Islam and also does not mean 'taqiyya'. Both of these are sinful in Islam and cannot be used to advance Islam as well.

You have to really pity the xtians. They grew up in misrepresentations. Islam is painted to them in grim pictures by their churches and the bible has already been editted in such a way as to support this view. Then come the muslim pretenders who have lost their bearings and taken to eccentric views. When they see these on their TVs, mostly their only source about Islam, the above view becomes solidified in them. Though there are few among them who are able to pick through the fine lines but many of such end up confused and some even reject anything faith generally. That is why they have found themselves in this awkward situation. The best approach, I believe, is to gradually point them in the direction of the truth through facts and established cases.

So obviously, it is you who have tried to address the serious issue of 'an act of worship' with a listing of mundane ones.

longman83 seems to have provided the strongest evidence yet of Jesus singing. But then, that has only served to answer one part of the question. The other part of the question remain unanswered, that is, Jesus dancing.

I think this part is more important since dancing requires music to be playing, which is the core of the argument. Though I have seen an evidence suggesting that Jesus danced encircled by his disciple but the source is graded "apocryphal", that is, doubtful, http://www.jstor.org/pss/1582276. And I have yet to see other sources really.

So I want to believe that there is no strong evidence for this very prevalent practice among the christians.
