rvp20182: Again trying the usual Nigeria nonsense. Mombasa port handles more cargo than Apapa and Tin Can combined. KPA revenues are nearly 500M annually.
Now show us Nigeria port revenues. Nearly $500m is what is projected. You’re probably doing around 300M considering your figure for the previous financial year. While Nigeria is already doing $4b. https://techcabal.com/2021/01/26/this-tech-company-helped-nigeria-customs-generate-₦1-5-trillion-in-2020-its-highest-ever/ |

Justnotyou: dynamic /dʌɪˈnamɪk/ 1. (of a process or system) characterized by constant change, activity, or progress. "a dynamic economy"
Get it, or you need the Ashanti igbo/yoruboid/Efik version? Why are you giving me the definition of dynamic? |

Justnotyou: They have no idea how dynamic things are in Kenya... Which dynamic is that?? “Managing Director Daniel Manduku on Friday said they expect to collect total revenue of Sh55.3 billion by the end of this financial year.” What dynamic is that...your projected revenue, note the keyword here being projected is around $450 million dollar...that’s nothing compare to what we generate here . And I don’t even see how you can achieve that figure . |

And after all is said and done, 68816419, Kenya is truly as insignificant as i thought. Could you believe that the Kenya port authority generated a measly $125m....and thats the highest it has ever generated till date, and they will keep goin on and on about the almighty Mombasa port. Go through the reports here. https://www.kpa.co.ke/Documents/KPA%20Annual%20Report%20and%20Financial%20Statement%20FY2017-2018.pdf $125m compared with Nigera $4 billion ....that's 32x more ,why are we still arguing with this guys?..lol they are not enough to rub shoulder with us , we are not even in the same league. 32x more |

rvp2018: Kenya that is half Nigeria has more road network than Nigeria .Road construction in Kenya includes huge network of well maintained Murram roads. We definitely spend more than Nigeria on roads...check budgets you definitely don't have more road network than Nigeria. And you sure don't spend more on road than Nigeria, Lagos state alone has more road construction going on than your entire country. |

rvp2018: Let get some facts straight. 1) South Africa is 3-maybe even 4 times better than Kenya. Definitely many times more than Nigeria when you remove Oil. 2) South Africa is not growing - it stuck. Kenya is growing very fast - in all levels. This not about COVID but this systemic economic meltdown. 3) I predict kenya will hit South Africa level in a decade or max 15yrs. Where will South Africa be - most likely stuck in middle class trap like many Latin America countries. 4) This is because I think kenya is about to hit an inflection point and grow very rapidly. Kenya has been nailing the basics - and now is about to take off. Demographically - we had a transition in 2016 - when 0-5 age cohort became less than 10-15 - we are about to get demographic dividends (maybe 10yrs from now) - we are nailing infrastructure and social investment. What remain is for kenya to vroooooooooooom...like Veitnam is currently doing and likes of China did.
So kenya in next decade or so will close the gap with South Africa. 1) No its not...and why should we remove oil? 2) Kenya is definitely no growing "very fast" 3) So its no more 5 years.... its now 15 years ....continue 4) The important thing is you said "you think". And no you are not nailing any infrastructure investment. The biggest infrastructure development your country has ever undertaken is the SGR....money you took from the Chinese and you are yet to pay back. There have never been an investment of 1b$ or above into your country by any private entities since the name Kenya was founded. Please don't make me laugh, if a flyover and few scrapes is what "you think" makes a country developed then you must be dreaming LOL. |
