When he was spending 1/3 of the budget fighting Boko Haram from the North while SW were busy on their side shouting marginalization and sabotaging his government...and you think he will correct all anomalies created for 50 yrs in 5 yrs........
How can you sabotage a government you overwhelmingly voted into power in 2011 ahead of this same Buhari and Ribadu (they voted ACN at the state governors level but voted for GEJ (PDP) and even protested on his behalf when Turai Yar'Adua and the northern oligarchy were not ready to relinquish power to GEJ after Yar'Adua's death. What did they get in return? He rather focused on the north that didn't support him and the SS/SE in terms of appointments and call their leaders thugs and sophisticated rascals after all the support. I don't think you except any sane people to continue supporting such a person that showed such open disdain for them and started running helter sharing money to pastors and a few greedy politicians in the region, few days to the election.

Where will you get the fund to finance the project.....NDA know what is happening in Nigeria and all South South and SE are behind them..... Yorubas have been conniving with the North to deprive SS and SE everything with the help of few saboteurs like Amaechi now we know, this will make Niger Deltans more angrier.
Yorubas also connived with the North to deprive the SS and SE during the five year reign of GEJ right? Why didn't this kind of developmental project surface in the SS/SE during GEJ's time rather than enriching a few militant warlords? I guess the Yorubas and the north held his balls and stopped him from doing that. And this is the same man y'all were ready to lay your life down for him to continue being in power.

Make Igbos pass their boundaries by touching the life of a single Yoruba person in the SW and see what happens afterwards. I dare you to make that move. I hope you remember how your Eze Indigbo was beaten up like a kid in the Akure Oba palace and was forced to apologize to the Oba again after the beating, worse fate awaits any of you that try nonsense in the SW. At least the Ijaws were bold enough to attack first and kill some Yorubas while you lots end up your rants on social media like you're doing.

The Ijaw Youth Council representative confirmed the relocation of people as you can use he was quoted, and for your information, this is Vanguard publishing this news not the nation, Sahara Reporters or Premium times that you can attribute to Tinubu, and anybody who's in this country would definitely know that in the last one year or so, Vanguard has never been sympathetic to the Yoruba cause. Not everything is about propaganda bro. I know in your mind, you had wished this news was not true and that The Ijaws dare the Yorubas instead by not relocating, so you and your kinsmen can come here and insult Yorubas shouting cowards here and there. The ijaws on that axis know Yorubas don't issue ultimatums needlessly like some other people and once they do, they mean it for real.

Ondo state people r so ungrateful. Am from ondo state (Akure) I don't know Mimiko but I see all he has done and am grateful to him. Mega school, mother and child hospital where pregnant women give birth without paying a kobo. My neighbours daughter is a witness to that. She told me she was rushed there from a private hospital where they ask her to pay 100k for C- section operation and I mother and child she gave birth thru c-section without paying a kobo the lady is from delta state not ondo state. Mimiko provided buses to take students to school and back from school daily without them paying a penny. Good road, water and so on.. now we have shoprite I was there yesterday and see happiness on my people's faces as they enjoying their shopping, going to the cinema with kids and so on. Ondo state people pls be grateful for once. Unna too wicked! Mimiko tried. He did his best. Pls someone should list what Agagun, Adefarati did for us. Am waiting. Bunch of ungrateful people. Hissssss
Since when has the presence of shoprite a private South-African enterprise become an achievement for a state governor. The mega school and mother-and-child are laudable projects which he did in his first term, which made Ondo State people rewarded him with a second term, but that second term which will end soon has been a disaster. Do you know two state Universities there, AAUA and OSUSTECH have been on strike for some time now owing to non-payment of workers salaries and the state civil servants too have only been paid one month salary this year, today being the last day of the 7th month. I'm sure if you're a civil servant in Ondo state or your parents are, you won't be singing his praises now. This is an oil-producing state for that matter, that collects 13% oil derivation and whose federal allocations is the highest in the SW with the exception of Lagos, despite having a relatively smaller workforce with no meaningful mass employment made for Mimiko's almost 8 years. Agagu you're talking about left 38bn in the treasury of Ondo state when he left in 2009 for Mimiko to use, when other ex-governors borrow and put their successors in debt, and didn't owe any salaries, paid bursaries and grant scholarships regularly to physically challenged and intelligent indigenes, and also responsible for most of the quality inter-town roads in most parts of the state. States like Cross-rivers whose allocations are less than half of that Ondo state pay their workers up to date. Where has all this money gone to? People are hungry and dying in Ondo state and you're here singing the praises of an insensitive leader who doesn't care. You're getting me angry already.

modified: linda ikeji never said mayowa's claim of ovarian cancer was a scam rather it came to their notice that some family members were trying to divert the money made for her treatment , toyin raised the alarm and linda notified the public we need to remove sentiments in our judging of this case the person who we ought to think about now is mayowa who needs medical care now nothing else .

the family keep saying toyin and Co wanted some percentage from the money donated Wat is the big deal in it, as long as u've gotten more than the money needed for her treatment I myself will gladly give u some percentage before u even ask of it as long as it doesn't cut through the estimated amount needed for her treatment cuz maybe witout ur help our plea won't have been heard a lot of people are in that condition with no body to hear their cries
Linda may mean well for her but she spoilt it all by lying in her blog that the doctors at LUTH said her condition is so critical that she has only few days left to live and would still die regardless of anywhere she's taken to, when in actual sense the doctors have just confirmed with this Press release that they're yet to ascertain her problem definitively.

You can't speak on behalf of millions of Ijaws with different moral, social and educational backgrounds. It's just like an Igbo person saying Igbos cannot traffic drugs. You're not in the head of every Ijaw man in Nigeria to predict correctly what they can do or cannot do. Because you're civil and peace-loving doesn't mean every Ijaw man out there is, ditto other ethnic groups. There are good and bad elements in every tribe. The IYC President is also saying the NDA guys are not Ijaw guys when they have come boldly to identify majority of themselves as Ijaws. Just check out some of their names. You don't make categorical statements like the militants are not Ijaws. Those are mere emotional and sentimental statements. What if they're caught and found out to be Ijaw. That's one good thing about Yorubas. They're the ones that denigrate and insult their own sons more when he misbehaves, even before other tribes do. I can give you many instances.

Do people EVEN READ or are some people just naturally stupid.

In the article, the ones lying is Sahar reporters as usual. They said the government culled an image from a Chris blog in 2010 claiming the image came from Kenya. In the banner in that image in which they claimed was"culled" from that blog had the word ANAMBRA initiative written in it....the EXACT same banner in the freaking second image they claim ANAMBRA state governor draped on goods
Since when did Kenya have an ANAMBRA state?
In addition, did ANAMBRA state government follow Chris around in 2010 in Kenya in order to have that drape behind the image?

In addition, they equally did not provide ANY evidence to support their claim that the government took images from that blog. All they did was screenshot a front page from a blog. If they had process of the so called "culled", wouldn't that be the best thing to compare the images to as opposed to showing us the image of a blog front page and then image provided by the state government.

Likewise, they claim the state government went to Lagos and snapped pictures with the ANAMBRA initiative dropped on it yet again ZERO proof to back up that was what ANAMBRA state government did.

In addition, they claim they couldn't reach the state government for answers yet the state government in question is one of the most open thus far in Nigeria. Therefore, there are SEVERAL ways to avtually reach them. Why weren't they able to reach them now that Sahara reporters wants to lie on them.

All this shows me is that yoloba are truly low self esteem set.
Anytime another state is doing anything, this people would show up and start hating. Wtf? When Akwa ibom governors were doing good, the people that kept trying to drag them down was yoloba. When delta governor does something good, the people that kept trying to drag them down was yoloba. Wtf kind of people are those things? Y'all need a whole lot of psychological help.
You're a cheap liar. Please show me the picture on that Chris blog that had Anambra state written on the banner.

Ask questions if you don't know something instead of ignorantly dabbling into issues you don't have much information on. The act establishing NDDC, NDDC Act 2000 section 2 clearly states that representatives of the states constituting the Board of the NDDC shall be indigenes of oil producing areas, and that is why people like the respectable senator and eminent lawyer Adegboruwa are taking up this issue with the FG.. I'm sure you don't know more than them.. emphasis is on oil producing areas not state. That is why other Presidents before Buhari have never made this stupid mistake of nominating anyone outside Ilaje/Ese-Odo LGAs to the NDDC board, but as the tyrant he is, he has again demonstrated he cares about the rule of law as he had done with his other skewed federal appointments.

Just imagine. Is Buhari saying he can't find a competent Ilaje/Ese-Odo man to represent Ondo state on the NDDC board. What an aberration. How can an Owo man be representing the interests of Ilaje communities in Ondo state. This is how we have always been sidelined in the politics of the state and at the federal level, despite being solely responsible for the huge allocation Ondo state is earning, otherwise Ondo state will be in the class of the likes of Osun and Ekiti in terms of federal allocation. Same nonsense Buhari did when he made an Ikale man the Minister for state for Niger Delta Affairs when we have Ilaje people on ground.

Why can't you be truthful. Ondo state is considered part of NDDC only because of the oil in Ilaje and Ese-Odo LGAs and not other parts of the state, even though other parts of the state enjoy the benefits of NDDC by virtue of these two LGAs. It would therefore amount to injustice for someone outside these two LGAs to be representing their interest in the NDDC board when he/she knows next to nothing about the plight of the people there, as the person is not indigenous to those communities.

Hi, fellow Nairalanders am in a phase, I need your advice;
If you were given admission (unconditional offer) to do Masters in Health Science in the UK for one year and your enrolment date is 09th September 2016 and your programme start date is 30th September 2016.
Tuition fee is £12000 = 4.8M Naira
Country Bursary is £1000 = 400k
Total Fee due is £11000 = 4.4M Naira
Estimated Living Cost is £1015 per Month = 406k per Month

To accept your unconditional offer, you’re expected to pay a minimum non-refundable deposit of £5500 = 2.2M Naira to reserve a place on the programme.
The Scholarship programme you were looking up to is on hold (till no date given).

All you have is 1.1M Naira. Your expecting 1.1M from your family but it’s on probability. After looking for a Job in Abuja, haven’t found one.
Your major challenge for Visa Requirements is a Bank Statement with minimum balance of 9M Naira. How will you get yourself sorted out with Brexit wahala in UK and Foreign Exchange wahala in Nigeria and age not being on my side!

I will be much grateful if you can advice me or help me out of this phase.
For special advice email: pleasesolution@gmail.com
Like what time latest are you expecting the scholarship to be granted to you. If it's before the year runs out and it's certain you'll get the scholarship, you can defer your admission to resume by January start next year, that is if you're hell-bent on studying in the UK. However, I don't really know if it's worth it spending such huge money in a country where you can't even be granted a post-study visa to stay back and still hustle a bit. After collecting your millions, they can't wait to send you on completion of your programme. Why don't you give other countries a chance where you won't have to spend so much fortune on a programme. Canada, maybe Australia and even Europe ( Germany, Scandinavian countries : Sweden, Denmark, Finland etc, Belgium, Netherlands).
