This is an assignment to a program am running in school. Despite all way of trying to get a code for it am still stuck and i have a deadline soon. Please kindly help out. The assignment is below

For the unit 2 assignment, you will develop a program that will simulate the rolling of a pair of dice. Your program must simulate rolling two dice and keep track of how many rolls are required before snake eyes are rolled (Note: “Snake Eyes” means that both dice show a value of 1). You will need to use a loop structure to repeatedly ‘roll the dice’. You will also need to make use of the if statement to determine if both die show a 1. You can use the example of an if statement below in your program and you can also read ahead to next weeks lesson for more information on the if statement.

To roll the dice, you can use the following Java statement which generates a random number between 1 and 6 (to represent the six sides of the dice).

die1 = (int)(Math.random()*6)+1

This statement has some interesting characteristics that need to be explained. The first thing we notice is that we are assigning something to a variable with the name die1. You will need to execute this statement twice, once for a variable die1 and the second time to assign to variable die2 to represent the roll of two dice.

The second thing we notice about this is this weird (int) placed in front of the parentheses that contain a subroutine call and a math expression (Math.random()*6).

What the (int) in this case is doing is called a cast. The cast is a way to force java to convert data from one data type to another.

The subroutine (actually this is calling the class Math and the method random) Math.random() will return a number that is between 0 and 1. This number is a floating point number.

By multiplying it by the number 6 we will get a random number between 0 and 5. This number will be a floating point number and is likely to be a fraction meaning that it will have digits to the right of the decimal point.

What the cast or (int) in this case does is convert this number into an integer. As you recall from earlier discussions, this will truncate all of the digits to the right of the decimal point. For example assume that that the Math.random() subroutine returns the value of .523432. This value is then multiplied by 6 resulting in 3.14059 to this we add 1 resulting in 4.14059. The reason that we are adding a 1 is because we want a number between 1 and 6 starting at 1. By adding a 1 we know that the starting number will always be 1 or greater.

What the (int) will do is to truncate everything to the right of the decimal point and then assign it to the variable die1. The resulting value in die1, in this case, would be 4.

An if statement that will test for ‘snake eyes’ would be as follows.

You must complete your program, test, debug, and execute it. You must submit your java code file. Post the output of your program by specifying the number of rolls of the dice before you got snake eyes. Run the program at least five times and report your results.

Challenge: See if you can modify your program using a for loop to simulate running your program 1000 times and calculate the average number of rolls required to get snake eyes … what is the average number of rolls?

I'll post the solution of the first part here now, but I'm kinda confused about the challenge, ie the second part. Are they asking the number of snake eyes u get when u roll each of the die 1000 times?

There's a SM N9005 in my possession that got updated automatically from 4.3 to 4.4.2, and since then the imei has become null and baseband unknown, making it unable to detect sim/network. I read somewhere that the only solution is to back up the EFS folder of a good working phone and restore it on this faulty one. I beg u to pls help me back up your EFS folder perhaps using EFS professional software so I can restore it on this. It has to be the exact model SM N9005. I tried backing up that of SM N900 and it didn't work for it. I don't know if downgrading back to 4.3 will help fix this problem. Cheers.

There are phone categories like Acer, Gionee, Huawei, Sony Xperia etc. Do you know under what category my android, BML One Mini, falls in? Below is a picture of the phone.

Your BML one mini is an mtk (Mediatek) phone just like Gionee, tecno, infinix, innjoo and the likes so shouldnt be difficult for u to root and change imei;though apps may not work for u, giving u the only option of rooting via a PC and a PC rooting application. Sony Xperia and Samsung galaxy are majorly Qualcomm devices. I want to believe you haven't manually installed the mtk drivers on your computer. Follow the steps I'm gonna outline below first and try rooting again using any of these PC rooting applications : Root genius, Kingo Root, KingRoot, Vroot and Eroot. Cheers.

Congrats Man. Not an easy experience I tell ya. Only the determined gets it done. I can see the Root checker app in your app drawer image attached. Did u also confirm root access with that app? Makes me laugh anytime I remember the message Root genius gave when I tried using it to root this phone : "Can't get root. What a tough phone" lol.

I recently purchased an Android smart phone similar in appearance to a HTC. It's a white BML One Mini version 4.2.2. Subsequently, I discovered that this phone has a low phone memory which ofcourse poses a problem to me.

I would like to know from you, the steps to "switching" the primary storage from the phone memory to my memory card which has enough space on it already. I believe this process is called "rooting". There are apps I'd love to install, especially WhatsApp, but the phone memory is insufficient.

Try and download the Root genius app on your phone for rooting or if that doesnt work, u download the PC version of Root genius application (google it). Mind u, it needs Internet connectivity to work. Know that rooting will not automatically increase your internal memory. After rooting u need to download another app the Roehsoft RAM expander which u can get from the link below, just follow the instructions from the site:

U dont have to mark any box. Just ensure that ur phone is turned off and connected to the PC before hitting the download button. U should see red lines which later turns yellow beneath as if u r installing. If nothing happens, it means u didn't install the mtk drivers properly, and hope you've downloaded and saved the Update SuperSU zip file on your internal memory or external SD card if u have one?

instructions therein in a book, so u can follow it while
rooting cos ur phone will be in recovery mode for most of
the duration of the rooting process. It has to be done on a computer with ur phone connected via USB cord. Hope u know how to install/flash from recovery /
download mode, cos it's a similar technique, just that
most operations here will be on a PC, with ur phone

difference is you'll copy the Update SuperSU to the root of

First root your tecno n7 using framaroot. Google framaroot, maybe version 1.9.The mtkdroid tool is what u will use in changing your tecno n7 imei. I'm always careful changing Sims (done that about four times) so there's no story.

Lastly, I agree with The quoted post. THE BATTERY DOES IMPROVE OVERTIME. i comfortably go through a day with moderate use with some juice to spare.

U can instead download other music player from play store, mobo market or blackmart. I use Power Amp music player. It makes the sound so lovely especially if u r using an earpiece. Tho it's with a 2 weeks trial, u can always uninstall and reinstall after 2 weeks.

connected to it? if yes, it means the drivers have been
installed otherwise try to connect your phone to a PC, and
