Phones › Re: Help Needed To Root My Infinix by Sheggy13(m): 3:41pm On Nov 04, 2014
kaybee4047:
ve been trying to root my Infinix 2gb ram bt I didn't even get root access talkless of of rooting pls help
Click
the link below, downloaded the necessary files from there and follow the instructions accordingly to
root yours. That's what I followed to root mine, I also use
the 16gb version gold. You will need a PC and phone USB
cord. Hope ur PC automatically detects ur phone when
connected to it? if yes, it means the drivers have been
installed otherwise try to connect your phone to a PC, and
make sure the PC can detect it after the necessary automatic
driver installation. U must enable USB debugging on ur
phone for this.
http://naijacrib..com.es/2014/10/how-to-root-
infinix-zero-162-edition.html?m=1
Hope u know how to install/flash from recovery /
download mode, cos it's a similar technique, just that
most operations here will be on a PC, with ur phone
connected to it. If u don't have an external SD card, the
difference is you'll copy the Update SuperSU to the root of
device ie inside the infinix drive that shows in My
Computer when u connect to a PC, and where u have
install from SD card, choose the option of install from
internal memory which would be below to select the
Update SuperSU u initially copied there.
**Try to download root checker app afterwards and
ensure u have some data u will need to update the
SuperSU app on play store, at the final stage of rooting.
I'll also advise u write the rooting instructions from the link
I gave u on a piece of paper so u can follow it cos ur
phone will either be off or in recovery mode during most of
the rooting stage.

OP, what are your basis for this decision, please I will really appreciate if you can explain better.

For me, no Federal Univ. from the South-West should make this list, their pattern of grading their CGPA is very easy to make first class.
please for those still in school please ask your lecturers or HOD and they will explain better.

Thank you.
Your ignorance is epic. Imagine such utterance. I know u must be from the South east to make such utterance. I don't need to be told. Stroll into OAU Ife and see if u will ever come close to a 1st class.

school in Enugu? I did my masters there..... Ain't I old enough to be a lecturer in one of those higher citadel of learning!!! I will get my stats when I can.
Hmmm nice that's quite impressive. I also finished my MSc in Computer Science last year. Looking to commence PhD early next year tho. Are u also in the academia and what's ur field? U mind if I follow u on here?

Is that the best u can come up with lol. U can do better by at least giving stats to state the contrary. Btw seems u school in Enugu, right?

I want hinting on Universities alone, am capitalizing on tertiary institutions in general? Can we move in that direction?
But the guy u quoted was talking about universities only, and u had to call him mad. That's not cool, especially u been a lady. Even considering number of higher institutions in general, Enugu state cannot still hold a candle where Ogun state is. No hard feelings towards u tho, just stating the obvious. Have a good day.

you sir are on point. I live in Ogun State. That state is blessed with industries like kilode. I strongly feel in few years time, Ogun will be leading other states in terms of IGR. However, the federal roads are in a sorry state. Now that its raining, the roads have become worse. In terms of academics nko, Ogun head dey there. I would love to have my state of origin changed from Ondo to Ogun if that is possible. Ogun rocks mehn. Even all the industries along sango-iyesi road alone pass all the industries in Akwa Ibom states combined not to talk of the whole Ogun.
God bless Ogun State
God bless Governor Ibikunle Amosun
God bless Oduduwa land
Lol. Don't worry we'll tell Mimiko to disown u officially. Even tho I'm a product of the two states Ondo and Ogun, I can't regret coming from Ondo state cos I really doubt ur assertion that Ogun is better than Ondo people in terms of academics. It's only natural that Ogun enjoys industrial growth due to it's proximity to Lagos, and Lagos been overcrowded already. It has always been like that even before Amosun came on board. I'm not taking anything away from his satisfactory performance so far.

dont go there mad...man, how many universities do they have in Lagos state and Enugu state too? Do you want us to count.... Get lost with your fake facts....
He's right. It's only a mad man that won't make inquiries and confirmation before calling some other persons mad. We're talking about NUC accredited universities and not some mushroom universities that NUC blacklisted the other day. These are the NUC accredited unis in Ogun State: FUNAAB, OOU, TASUED, Covenant, Redeemers, Babcock, Crawford, Bells, Crescent, McPherson University and Southwestern University=11 in all. Help me list the ones in your Enugu and Lagos Mr. Mad man identifier. Even Osun state has more compared to your Enugu. Next time desist from thinking with your anus. U can visit this link for free education on Universities in Nigeria.

Had it been she used Long-span roofing sheets or those Stone-coated tiles roofing materials that are quite xpensive that igbo boiz are known to use to roof their houses, she wouldnt try that
Now u have gotten the attention u need bigoted fool.. It's rusted but ur people won't stop trooping from their heavens to settle in towns with these rusted zinc..

Me as a persn name any written course at al, if I study am it I can't graj below 2.1 bt calculatn.... D school go even pursue me cos I no go fit cope. So ma qustn is calculatn and written wich is harder?
Stop living in illusion Bro. Are you gonna compare courses like Integrated Science Education or PHE with Medicine, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Philosophy, Biochem etc. It's not a question of written or calculations. Those so called calculation courses, do u think they don't have a large chunks of courses you'd take that involves a whole lot of writing. Be real man. You'll observe that the Education courses tend to have large numbers of PhD lecturers compared to the others I listed up there, and within 3-4 years they've obtained their PhD. You'll see thesis topics like "Evaluating the effects of Social Networking on Students academic performance". It's all about questionnaire and statistical analysis. On the other hand, you'll see people spending average of 6-7 years or even more to obtain a PhD in these other fields. Do u think they are all dull?

Am a mechanical engr..am a windows and android developers without former training,i tot myself without guidiance but u cant learn mechanical engr on ur own.i had a computer scientist friend he usedto come for xplanation and assistance in mathematics and programming.
Just the same way as a Computer scientist, I can solve problems in Engineering Mathematics and drawing without attending classes, but that's not to say I'll be able to tackle other aspects of Mech Engineering without formal education. U been an android and windows programmer doesn't mean u can work on other stuffs in some of the fields I listed in my original post. Did lotta math back in my undergrad. Agreed, Engineering in all is a challenging field. My anger was with the Biochem guy saying Computer science is so easy that he can afford to study it alongside BCH.

Trust me when I said QBasic is the easiest of all the courses you will come across in Comp Science, and it took u months to learn. How long will it take u to learn the other languages and courses I listed there in my original post.

What is physics and what is engineeringhuh
How you go say computer science hard,i go even fit study am alongside with biochemistry for school.
U think Computer Science is photoshop and Ms Word. Do u know how many programming languages you are expected to master before u graduate. Do u know what it takes to build an application like nairaland from scratch, with just pure coding not to mention fields like Artificial intelligence, Data structures and algorithm, Automata theory, Computer Architecture and the likes. How many professors of Computer science do u think there are in Computer science in the whole of Nigeria? Don't be so confident in downgrading a course u know little about. Ask guys from maths, physics and Engineering that come to borrow courses in Computer science how their experiences were?

Phones › Re: Wiko Phones Launched In Nigeria (Pictures) by Sheggy13(m): 2:21pm On Oct 27, 2014
The wiko brand is even expensive. Check the prices on Jumia. The flagship one Highway sells for 52k with 2350mAh battery, 2gb Ram and 16gb internal memory that cannot be expanded with memory card. The camera is just the only special thing, 16mp back camera and 8mp front camera. The Lenny variant is 21k with 512mb Ram, 4gb internal memory, 1800mAh battery and very poor camera of 5mp back camera and 0.5mp front camera. Can u compare that with infinix zero that sells for #20,900 with 1gb Ram, 8gb internal memory, 1920mAh battery, 13mp back camera and 5mp front camera. I'd rather buy London used Sony Xperia, HTC or Samsung, or brand new infinix or Gionee than this Wiko of a phone. Didn't they know it was fair pricing that endeared people to the likes of tecno, Gionee and infinix when they came into the market. They are coming new into the Nigerian market with such ridiculous prices. They're on a long thing. Good luck to them.

how much exactly can i get the gionee m2 at slot...because thats the nearest plcae i could gt it
Wow I don't know people still buy phones from slot. Those thieves that sell like 5k more expensive than market price. They're just very good at packaging and selling name. Well if u have extra cash to spare, good luck then. I don talk my own finish.

I didn't copy down my former imei b4 I change it 2 BlackBerry imei is there any possible way of retrieving back my old imei. Comment solutions pls
As Neduzze has said, u factory reset to get the old imei. But before doing that, try to root the phone and download titanium backup, and back up all your apps. You can copy your contacts to your Sim so u don't lose them. After factory resetting, you will lose the titanium app, go back to play store to install it, and do a restore of the apps you backed up earlier. Cheers. Alternatively, if you can get the carton/packaging that came with the phone when u bought it, u should see the imeis on it. Cheers.

I just subscribed to it and it worked. They gave me 1GB instead of 500MB.
Why will u want to subscribe for this when adding #500 will give u 4.5gb MTN or even the Glo BIS of #1000 for 3gb that works on Android.
