After going through all responses to the question, I can say I'm impressed with efforts made. Dejt4u was very close to getting it all. Infact his explanation for the first question is succinct. I couldn't have done better. The answer is 22 chocolates in all as he rightly pointed out. For the second, I will only point out the ones he didn't get correctly.

Techsud-_Deutsch that's the German language..

Ngginur- Gurning, a weird sport originating from the UK that has annual National Championships and the champion is whoever can make the most grotesque (ugly) face imaginable, by passing their heads through a horse collar lol. You might be tempted to say Running but as you can see Running has only a single g unlike what we have in the unscrambled word.
Bealuv, Petreli08 and Spunkyuch, I see you all. Well done! And to you Sir-Tunechi, thanks so much for spamming my thread (tongue in cheek) lol. More to come soon guys. Let's keep up the spirit.

Lastly I admit my mistake with the unscrambled word Gearmint. Should have been Gearninte which makes it Tangerine as rightly said.
Dejt4u, considering how close you were and the error from my end, I'll have to gift you with the recharge card. Just send me a PM stating your phone number and network and I'll text it to you.

dej4u, you're right..there was a mistake in the unscrambled word Gearmint, it should be Gearminte.. Apart from that, you're this close.. keep on trying you'll..I'm really impressed with your attempts.

I'll be posting two sets of puzzles just for us to put our intelligence to test in quickly unraveling simple but tricky puzzles and how broad our general knowledge is. You can post your answers with explanations if possible especially for the mathematical one. I'll be revealing the answers as soon as I discover someone has got all of them right before today wraps up and will give a reward of #100 recharge card in any network the winner chooses. I know it's little but it just meant to challenge ourselves. Cheers and see you at the other side. More to come in the nearest future. I hope this makes front page. Here they go:

1. A shop sells chocolates for #1 each. You can exchange 3 wrappers for 1 chocolate. If you have #15, how many chocolates can you totally get?

2. Unscramble the following words. Hints are given in bracket beside each unscrambled words.

Okewyrn (city)
Wibembaz (country)
Rubelmp (profession)
Yikend (part of the body)
Gurnins ( career)
Louse (city)
Rankaifbous (country)
Techsud (language)
Yadinhu ( car brand)
Hefarode ( part of the body)
Mooncites (profession)
Glifheih ( Music Genre)
Gearmint (fruit)
Phumnick ( Animal)
Ngginur (sport)

******Good luck..Your time starts now!

Try to be sensible for once na..Etisalat knows the value of Nairaland, that's why they are doing this. You guys comments on this thread makes it look like Nairaland is some kind of rubbish platform yet you can't stay away from it. So hypocritical.. nerodenero: Inasmuch as I don't support corruption, I think the woman is being victimized to an extent. While not trying to take side with Madam Needful, it is pertinent to know that those given the mantle to probe her are not any better. To put this straight, they don't deserve to probe her because he, without sin should be the first to cast the stone. Should we now say because they are not better than her, she should not be probed!!!.Again, who is in the right position to probe Madam Needful? I see none because all our leaders are enmeshed in corruption, the reason why we need to address the monster called corruption. Until will put measures to curb and totally eradicate corruption, the end to this nightmare isn't in sight.
So we'll have to wait till you can single out one non-corrupt person in Nigeria before cases against perceived corrupt practices be investigated, isn't it..This your sense of reasoning is one of a kind. What measures do you need to tackle corruption and what is the budget appropriated for the likes of EFCC, ICPC, BPP etc.meant for. Why ain't they allowed to take up this case?..more questions than answers.. May God help us in Obodo Nigeria.

Thanks for enlightened folks like you for telling off that waste of space and refusing to join the bandwagon. The fact that his imbecilic post attracted the highest number of likes on this thread goes to show you that the level of bigotry on this site is sickening and such untoward behavior as that of this poster is likely to fetch one more fans on this forum these days. Though I must admit this ugly trend goes both ways. It's rather unfortunate that an otherwise educative forum that should attract only intellectuals and those of sound mind, has been hijacked by such low-lives.
On the other hand, Ogbonna would have been a very valuable asset to the Super Eagles by pairing up with Mikel in the heart of that midfield instead of being used as a second-fringe player in the Italian setup where he hardly gets to kick a ball in competitive matches. Anyways it's his call and we have to respect his decision. What I like about him is his very reserved and calm nature unlike that arrogant Balotelli who thinks he'll be the only black guy that would be relevant for Italy and hence needs to be worshipped lol.

swedbase: what about this

When she started shouting, I got hold of her neck and nose and pressed them till she died...

A 26-year-old man, Rafiu Idowu, is being detained by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly killing his 10-year-old cousin, Tawa Bilawu, after he allegedly raped her.
Idowu who confessed to have committed the offence, said the victim lured him into raping her when she paid a visit to him at his family residence at Ile-Ogbo in Ayedire Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, for the state Police Command, Mrs Folashade Odoro, said the suspect, who is currently in Police custody, was arrested by a team of detectives from the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Jimoh.
According to the PPRO, the suspect who recently returned to the state from Lagos also smokes indian hemp.
The police claimed the suspect admitted that the deceased was his relative who pays him regular visit at his residence, adding that the late Bilawu was known to every member of his family.
The suspect said: “Tawa Bilawu met me at the passage of my house when she came to visit me on that fateful day. I asked her where she was going and she said somebody sent her somewhere but she decided to check on me.
“Bilawu later dragged me into my room where she removed my trousers and both of us went on bed. Then, Bilawu put my penis into her private part and started shouting. I then asked her the reason for the alarm.
“The alarm raised by Bilawu was after two minutes of sexual intercourse between us. When she started shouting, I got hold of her neck and nose and pressed them till she died.”
He admitted that the late Bilawu never had intercourse with him prior to the one that led to her death.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mrs Dorothy Gimba, has however directed that the case be investigated and the suspect arraigned.

VANGUARD
You shouldn't stop there. You can take it upon your yourself to visit all SW states and uncover and document every single crime in those places so you make a comprehensive thread here on nl to relay your findings. I'm sure you'll be better applauded that way and given an heroine status by your bigoted kins for defending your great tribe. You and your likes turn everything on nl into Igbo vs Yoruba war when we should instead be sober as the lives of innocent Nigerians were taken in cold blood by these unscrupulous and heartless elements-our common enemies.

Don't mind him..Even denying the obvious when news of the Alaba incident was on the front page last week and I even made a comment about being at the market for unlocking a phone on the said day. He's only angry he didn't see a sentence like "One Kunle Alabi or Segun Yusuf was reported as a suspect in the robbery incident at Alaba",as part of the report lol.

ceeceeco: tribalism..Oluwaseun osewa.
Dear lives have been lost but the other thing you can think of is scream tribalism at Seun. Even after making your Igbo brothers moderators of the most important sections of this forum, all you can do is accuse him of tribalism cos you were only disappointed it wasnt Ekiti or Osun you saw when you clicked on the link.I know that must have given such joy so as to spew your usual bigoted rants. Would you swear that you havent read any negative news from the SW on the front page since you joined nl?.Nigeria is entirely unsafe and insecure but you and I know some places are worse than others. Just because you happen to be from the place where such news were reported shouldn't make you start playing the victim. Some of your sincere Igbo brothers have attested to the insecurity issues in these places and we should all come out to condemn these evil acts regardless of where they happened cos it affects us all.Lives of innocent Nigerians are involved. Please let's stop living in denial and playing the hated ones and victim song always.

It was a sad day indeed..I live very close to the market and went there on the said day to unlock my cousin's Samsung Galaxy S2 that I had just upgraded that afternoon.. I almost went to the area where this incident happened to buy a new battery for the phone as the one in the phone was down and took ages to power on..Something just prompted me not to for the battery and instead ask the repairer to use a spare battery for me..It wasn't long after I went to the repairer's shop that we started hearing gunshots and people running helter skelter for their dear lives..what a gory and unfortunate occurrence..RIP to the dead.

When is all this nonsensical ethnic bashing gonna end on nl.. last time I checked this is not oduduwaland or biafraland..foreigners come to this site to learn good things about Nigerians but what they find is a divided country with such dissimilar people..When they talk about these drugs stuff, most times they are referring to marijuana which is perfectly legal in some other countries, though I'm not promoting its use but what do I have to say about what mature people chose to do with their lives..I am yoruba and lived in the UK for close to two years..I can tell you authoritatively that most guys involved in this marijuana business are yorubas and guys from other African countries, around Woolwich and Thamesmead in South-east London where we have an overwhelming African, especially Nigerian population. I know cos I had neighbours that patronize them..Truth be told the Igbos are very industrious and ambitious people which may push few bad eggs among them to channel their energies in negative ventures just like we have with other tribes and nationalities..Seriously I don't know where this country will be without the Igbos especially Lagos.. When will my yoruba brothers come on nl and bash the young vibrant guys who were born and bred in Lagos wasting away as agberos while their mates come all the way from across the Niger to make a fortune..We instead look the other way. My best friends from childhood are Igbos and they are the best kind of friends you'll always wish for.. Please let's be guided when making utterances. One love y'all..May God make Nigeria a better place for us all.

Hello God villa and other android gurus in the house, please I just upgraded my UK used Samsung Galaxy S2 from Gingerbread to Jellybean 4.1.2 successfully using Samsung kies on PC but it now refuses to bring network signal saying the SIM is not registered on the network and requesting for SIM network unlock code..I tried both MTN and Airtel, still same problem, they were working fine before upgrading.. I googled to find a solution but I was told I have to supply the unlock code, but the apps and website I came across that could do this mostly require money like 35 euros to provide the code and also root access. Please guys help me out as the phone isn't rooted yet and would want solutions either with a free app/website or some other unlocking means. Cheers

gregg2: One thing I know is sure: APC will never win in Anambra
You'll come back to eat your words after November 16 my friend. That was how people like you who know nothing about politics said during the last general election that Yoruba party ACN can never win in Anambra. Now you have Senator Ngige who is still coming back to rule you as governor. Already you can see the main opposition parties APGA and PDP having tensions and commotion in their camp..That "boko haram" party APC, according to people like you is extending to Anambra come November 16 as it has done to Imo already. You guys need to learn the dynamics of Nigerian politics instead of sounding like clowns with your usual ranting, empty chest beating and never-ending ultimatums lol.

You don't need to install tun.ko on android 4.0 and above.

Open Ur WiFi hotspot wen using DroidVPN to open playstore.

Check out some few pages back, ppl av already dropped rooting process.

NB: I'm not using P2.
