Honestly, I wish my lone vote could save President GEJ but people have spoken with massive votes that he should step down for GMB. As Prof Jega was moderating results collation, my 10-year old boy was writing down the figures of the APC & PDP for whatever reason I don't know. After writing the figures for the 36 States and FCT, he walked up to me and silently asked me a question: "Dad, you said President GEJ would be the first sitting president to be this booted out of office in the past few decades in Nigeria. With all his power and money, he still lost the election. What lesson can we learn from his fall?" I paused and later replied: "Son, never forget in life that WHENEVER YOU ARE MESSING UP, SOMEBODY IS WARMING UP." Maybe he did his best but his best did not satisfy the expectation of the people. Please, what further lesson can you help me share with this boy because he has opened a big note exercise book for it o! He insists he will copy all the comments of my FB friends on this post fa! WHY DO YOU THINK PRESIDENT GEJ FALL? |
Kudos to Jonathan for giving us Jega |

1. Her man’s appearance Men are usually considered to be the most turned on by visual stimuli (think about it: how many strip clubs and adult magazines are actually targeted toward females?), but women are actually quite turned on by a man’s face, bo dy and movement as well, say Meston and Buss. “s exually, women are attracted to men with masculine features, although not too masculine,” Meston explains. “A little light stubble is usually a turn-on for women if it’s clean and well- kept. bo dy-wise, women generally find men with a V-shaped torso or a high shoulder-to- hip ratio s exually attractive. Motion is important, too, as women find athletic prowess and agility to be s exual turn-ons.” The bottom line: If you’d like to get her in the sack, a good first step to take might be getting yourself into the gym. 2. The time of day Meston says that women are very individualized in terms of when they most prefer to get it on: “In general, women want to have s ex when they feel their best — when they have energy, feel connected to their partners, aren’t distracted by work or stressful daily events, and when they feel s exy — and that may or may not be at night.” In order to figure out when a woman’s most likely to be in the mood, pay attention to the times she seems the most energized and/or chilled out. Try thinking outside the box — you may find that she’d love a post-jog quickie right before her shower! 3. Certain smells Meston and Buss explain that, for women, sense of smell is far more important than it is to men when it comes to s exual attraction. Simply put: if a woman doesn’t like the way a man smells, it’s often a deal- breaker — whether she consciously realizes it or not. The number one turn-off reported by most women is — not surprisingly — bad breath, says Buss. A woman’s sense of smell also plays an interesting biological role in what attracts her to a man, according to Meston: “Olfactory signals provide a woman with a wealth of information about a man’s health, hygiene, and even his genetic makeup,” she notes. Pheromones — tiny airborne molecules that humans emit from various glands in their bo dy — can influence a woman’s desire to be s exually intimate with a man. Male pheromones have been shown to provide information on a man’s symmetry, which is an indicator of genetic fitness and ultimately can determine whether a man is genetically compatible with a woman. “For many women — whether they realize it or not — scent can play an important role in determining her willingness to have s ex with a man, given her ‘sense’ of whether they can produce genetically healthy, strong children together,” says Buss. 4. Her guy’s choice of words Often, what a man says is more important than what he does when he’s trying to get a woman in the mood. “Offering compliments is usually a sure-fire way of making someone want to get closer… although, if the compliments come across as insincere, they will actually turn her off,” says Meston. To score extra sincerity points, make references to future activities you’d like to do together, explains Meston, noting that showing signs of commitment can often be s exually alluring to women. Buss also notes that a man with a sense of humor is also a s exual turn-on for the ladies: “If a man can make a woman laugh, it relaxes her and makes her feel that he ‘gets’ her,” he says, adding that a good sense of humor also conveys some key qualities women want in a mate: intelligence (it’s hard to be witty if you’re not too bright), the ability to gauge her emotional and social perspective (a.k.a. having the mind-reading skills to know what she will find amusing), and social verve or confidence 5. The need for revenge In their research, Meston and Buss found that many women had “revenge s ex” with someone other than their most recent dating partner to get back at a cheating partner or to “even the score,” as some women put it. “Some women hoped their ex would find out about it and feel angry or hurt, and other women said they didn’t care if they found out or not — they felt better just knowing they had gotten revenge,” Meston explains. Why is the need for revenge such a turn-on for women? “Revenge can serve two basic functions,” Buss explains. The first function is one of deterrence: just as bullies stop picking on victims who retaliate, cheating partners sometimes stop their illicit activities when the other person retaliates in kind. The second function of revenge is “reputation management,” says Buss. “Women who are scorned sometimes suffer damage to their social reputation, whether they are cheated on or dumped. Having s ex — especially if it is with someone who is relatively high in ‘mate value’ — can sometimes help to restore a woman’s reputation,” he explains. 6. Genetics Women prefer men whose MHC genes (or Major HistoCompatibility genes) are dissimilar to their own, because this is the set of genes involved in determining an individual’s immune function. “Having children with men who are dissimilar produces children with healthier immune systems,” Buss explains. “Astonishingly, women seem to be able to pick this up through sense of smell, especially at ovula tion, if they are not on hormonal contraceptives.” 7. Her physical health or well-being If you’re looking for a few good reasons why she should have s ex with you, there are countless ways in which you can emphasize that “getting busy” would be a wise move for her health. “During orgasm, opiates — the bo dy’s natural painkillers — are released, which can help decrease all sorts of aches and pains for women,” Meston explains. s ex can also help maintain the bo dy’s flexibility and cardiovascular health, decrease anxiety, and enhance overall mood. Additionally, Meston notes, having s ex during menstruation decreases a woman’s risk of experiencing endometriosis symptoms. Of course, s ex (if it lasts long enough!) can also be a good calorie burner, so you can always suggest it as a fantastic way to burn off the chocolate cheesecake you shared for dessert. 8. To raise her social status or sense of self- esteem In their research, Meston and Buss found that, for some women, having s ex is more about competition and winning (see who went home with the good-looking guy at the bar?). For women that do this to compete with others and also raise their social standing, her intended target’s social status is a key factor in revving her lib ido. “Young women who are ‘grou pies,’ for example, often compete to see who can have s ex with the musician who has a higher status, while Monica Lewinsky raised her status by having an intimate connection with the President,” Buss says. She goes on to explain that, for women who have s ex to raise their self- esteem, the motivating factor is usually the need to feel s exually desirable. “Some women suffer from low self-esteem and feel bad about their bo dies for a variety of reasons, ranging from comparisons with media models to put-downs by their regular mates,” explains Buss. Having s ex with a man who finds her irresistibly hot and her bo dy incredibly beautiful can provide a huge boost to a woman’s self-esteem — so if you’re looking for a little loving, make her feel like she’s the s exiest woman on the planet! |
Like criosly, two days ago precisely i went to a coded restuarant for a quick lunch, sitting at the next table was dis pwetty lady and one guy was eating too. It was then the lady said something that really impressed me, she actually told the guy, she's not after his money, that the only thing she needs from him is his love, care and attention.i nearly fainted, are there ladies like these in federal Republic of Nigeria It was then i heard the moviedirector's voice "cut, cut, cut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this season of heated political activities, one sincere exercise that is worthwhile for an ardent observer of political theatrics in Oyo State is sieving through the promises, manife stos and limitations being presented by various aspirants jostling for Agodi Government house. The fierceness of the contest stems from the indisputable fact that most of the aspirants possess dazzling credentials of a would-be governor of our state. At the gubernatorial debate organised by Splash fm Ibadan which was staged at the magnificient International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, the aspirants had opportunities to engage one another while they also fielded questions from moderators and zealous audience. It gave me ample opportunity to have an insightful overview of manifestos of various political parties that will participate in February 28 guber poll. Prior to my arrival, I had divested my mind of formed affinity for any of the candidates and my decision would rest solely on the outcome of the debate. Ably chaired by Prof. Francis Egbokhare, the debate kicked off with call on the aspirants to introduce themselves and tacitly give a summary of their programs, which they did in turn. Four parties were represented at the debate and notably the candidate of Labour Party, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala was conspicuous by his absence. Engineer Seyi Makinde of Social Democratic Party blazed the trial by introducing himself to the general audience. Citing his wealth of experience and his philanthropic gestures as reasons why he should be given the mandate. He was well comported and demostrated high sense of civility in his responses to questions. He tackled most of the questions by given answers from what he has achieved in his private capacity. He cited poverty and corruption as plagues that he will address head-on if elected. He outlined his programs on health, education, agriculture, employment and infrastructural development. He made known of his intention to give rural development priority by putting infrastructures that will deter rural-urban migration. He promised to publicly declare his assets If elected as credence to his support for freedom of information bill. Seyi Makinde oozes the candour of an astute gentleman with utmost willingness to serve people but would those qualities be enough to coast him to Agodi Government house? Senator Teslim Folarin of People Democratic Party was so critical of Ajimobi's government and was obviously at ease to express his displeasure. His responses to questions on education, agriculture, mining and socio- economic spheres of the state were premised by the perceived flaws in Ajimobi's government. Though he failed to provide convincing alternatives, he was able to stress the fact that his record as a former senate leader couple with his vast experience are enough credentials to make him the next governor. He said his programs would be people-oriented and will not lack human face. In response to a question,he said he was not rich and hence couldn't afford philanthropic gestures like Seyi Makinde which handicapped him in tarring the road that lead to his house and putting up a project in his alma mater. That caused hysterics among the audience and mild expression of disapproval with his answer. From his response probably his nickname ''Jagba'' was coined from his unique ability to outsmart his rivals in political games. Governor Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi of All Progressive Congress exuded high sense of comportment as he enumerated projects and programs embarked and successfully completed by his administration over the past 3 and a half years. Overweeningly, he fastened to the prevailing peace that Oyo State residents are enjoying which has obviously been one of his selling point during electioneering. He was eloquently and impressively at ease as he highlighted his achievements in re-building economy of the state not excluding his untiring efforts at providing state-of-the art social amenities in the state. He drew attention of the audience to numerous multi-nationals that have moved into the state. He practically reeled off the names of some companies who are now firmly rooted in Oyo State. Indisputably, Ajimobi's government may deserve commendation in the maintainance of peace and security in the state. Previous administrations failed it that regard. There was ceaseless chaos in the state before he came on board. Among many other rebuttals, he tried to set the record straight as regards Mokola fly-over, Soka disaster and his insistence that Ladoja's government refunded stolen money to the state coffers through the EFCC. Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja of the Accord flaunted his achievements during his first spell as the Governor of the state.Proudly, he metioned his laudable reforms in the education sector which was iced with his 30-pupils per class initiative. He boasted that the result of that was pleasing and received commendation far beyond the state. He promised to further utilize vast arable lands for agriculture and make the sector attractive to youths. He cited some projects that had gone moribund since he left office and promise to revive them. His position on questions raised on mining, education, infrastructures were given to the best of his knowledge. In his swift response when he took on Ajimobi during an exchange, he accused his government of thriving on lies and deceits. I think we can intelligently make a choice. |
Nigeria Airways has taken delivery of all four of the Airbus A310-200s it ordered. The aircraft were officially handed over to Mr O.A. Oshikoya, Director of Legal Affairs and Company Secretary of Nigeria Airways, by Mr Roger Béteille, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Airbus Industrie, at a ceremony in Toulouse recently. Two aircraft were ferried to Lagos on 20 December last year and the two others in mid-January. Nigeria Airways, which was the first African airline to order the A310, began operating the aircraft in December on the airline’s routes from Nigerian cities to major European destinations such as Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, and London. They will also be used on domestic and regional services – mostly along the West African coast route – where they will add capacity. Seating 18 passengers in first class and 207 in economy, the A310s will introduce new standards of wide-body passenger comfort and freight capacity on Nigeria Airways’ network. The aircraft are powered by Pratt and Whitney JT9D-7R4Es. Including the Nigerian aircraft, 45 A310s have now been delivered to 12 airlines. |

Former Oyo State Governor Rashidi Ladoja has written to Governor Abiola Ajimobi, seeking a retraction of his alleged refund of N 500 million to the coffers of the state government from the proceeds of government shares sales during his tenure . Ladoja , who is the governorship candidate of Accord , also threatened to sue Ajimobi if he failed to do so and apologise within seven days . Ajimobi had said in an interview last week that Ladoja and others involved in the sale of shares of the state government in 2007 , refunded N 500 million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) , adding that his administration received the fund from the commission . But the former governor , in a newspaper advertorial on Tuesday, denied the refund and challenged Ajimobi to prove his claim . He also threatened to sue the governor . In response , Ajimobi published all the correspondence between the government and the EFCC as well as the cheques with which Ladoja and others made the refund in an advertorial on Wednesday . Ladoja ’ s letter, through his lawyer, Biodun Abdu - Raheem , reads: “ For the umpteenth time , our client denies in its entirety the allegation by your government that he made the refund to the EFCC . “ Our client demands of you to make available any document directly tending to show that he made such payments and for the purpose alleged , that is , plea bargaining . “ We reiterate that none of the documents published so far substantiates the fact that our client is directly involved in the allegation . We wish to note that going by the contents of your letters exhibited in the said publications , that is , 6 th September , 2013 ; November 2013; 26 th November , 2013 and 9 th January , 2014 “ There is nothing to show that as at 10 th January , 2014 , when the last letter was said to have been received by the EFCC and till date that your request for “revalidation ” , “ repatriation ” and “release ” as variously requested by your government in your said letters have been acceded to or granted by the EFCC . “ We also note that all the aforementioned letters are at your instance and none was at the instance of the EFCC in order to know that any of your requests was granted at all . Could it have been that the non- inclusion of the EFCC ’ s letters was a deliberate act or omission on the part of government ? “ Drawing from the above , it is very clear from your last letter dated 9 th January , 2014 that the government was at best still pursuing the revalidation , repatriation and release of the cheques and their money value as at that date . “ How come then that the cheques which were yet to be revalidated as of January , 2014 bore various dates in November , 2013 and presumed to have been cashed same period? This scenario raises more questions than it actually answers . “ Your Excellency , we have the authority of our client to specifically request you to produce to the reading public the paper where our client ‘ spelt out how he spent the proceeds of Oyo State money ’ , particularly the shares of his wives, children , cronies and himself . “ Furthermore, we hereby demand of your government to produce the said papers as alleged , the approval of EFCC that our client made the refund of N 500 million as alleged , the EFCC approval of repatriation of the sum of money within seven days from the receipt of this letter or in the alternative a retraction of the said offending publication and letter of apology addressed to our client and published in the newspapers . “ Take notice sir , that failure to act as requested above , we have the instruction of our client to seek redress in court . ” ‘ Explain your roles in N 500m saga ’ A group, Youths Against Corruption League (YACL ) , has called on former Oyo State Governors - Otunba Adebayo Alao - Akala and Senator Rashidi Ladoja- to explain their roles in the alleged embezzlement of public funds , which culminated in the refund of N 500million for a plea bargain. The group in a statement by its president and Secretary, Adewale Bashorun and Adedeji Bankole , said it becomes a moral burden on Ladoja to seek re - election , having been enmeshed in complicity for financial impropriety . Governor Abiola Ajimobi said Ladoja refunded N 500million to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission ( EFCC ) to secure a plea bargain. The governor added that Alao - Akala also ‘ blew ’ N 3 billion government funds within the last week of his administration in May 2011 . The group said: “Where are our values as Yoruba sons and daughters ? As a Yoruba man , once you have a label of ‘ thief ’ attached to you , you are alienated completely and nobody would be inclined to associate with you . “ In the past , parents would teach their children and younger ones the values of the society most prominent of which is honesty . “ But regrettably today, it ’ s the other way round as we the youth are now teaching our supposed fathers moral values . ‘‘ It ’ s unfortunate that our leaders would steal our common wealth and at the end of the day use part of it to deceive us. ’’ http://thenationonlineng.net/new/alleged-n500m-refund-ladoja-threatens-sue-ajimobi/ |

Senator Rasidi Ladoja the gubernatorial candidate of Accord and his deputy Dr. Prince Bola Oyedepo today received the party flag from the National secretary of Accord Alhaji Nureni Adisa who represented the chairman of Accord, Alhaji Nanado, at the event that kick started Accord campaigns in Oyo state . The colorful ceremony held at the Durbar stadium Oyo, signaled the flag off of the 2015 polls for Accord, Also present were other candidates from all over the state receiving the party flag from the state chairman Arc. Bashiru Lawal. Earlier the Director General of Senator Ladoja campaign Organization had told the people that today's event is an epoch making one which marks the beginning of the end for the APC led government in oyo state. Stressing that the people had endure too much hardship from a government that has been riddled with inefficiency and wastefulness hallmark of the present government in Oyo state. He also said that the allegation by the state government that an ex governor in the state refunded a particular sum of money to the state coffers is baseless as they have failed to mention the name of the former governor who did. He stated further that. For the avoidance of doubt Senator Rasidi Ladoja has not refunded any money to the state coffers as he is not in possession of the state fund or indebted to the state in anyway. Oyo Students' from various institutions across oyo state and other states declear their support for Sen Ladoja whom they believe that He will pilot the Education sector of the state better than he did in 2003-2007. Senator Ladoja in a brief speech thanked members of Accord for the opportunity given him to serve the state again. Saying that he has done it before and the people are living testimonies of his achievements. He explained that while he was the governor in 2003-2007, civil servants were getting paid on the 25th of every month, and a week before any major festivities. He noted that workers in the state could not have had a merry christmas as most were not paid their november/ december salaries. He remarked that he constructed roads at a cost of 10million naira per kilometer, and Akala did for a 100million naira per kilometer, the Ajimobi's government he said is spending 1 billion naira per kilometer. He affirm that Accord will put an end to this mismanagement of our common resources. On the issue of age Senator Ladoja wonders why the ruling All Progressive Congress in oyo state are saying that at 70years he is too old to govern a single state , while in the same breath they are campaigning for a man of over 73 years old to become the next President of the country. Senator Ladoja had earlier been given a rousing welcome to the ancient city of Oyo, when thousands of Accord members and residents of Oyo, waited at Iloora, a town which is a few kilometers way from Oyo —

Mr. Ayo Fayose, Ekiti State governor, speaking on his arrival from a foreign trip said the result of the presidential election will not be a win-win situation, but assured that President Goodluck Jonathan would be re-elected next month. “Let me make it clear to all Nigerians, the election is going to be a little bit turbulent, but Jonathan will win and there will be reactions. He predicted that the forthcoming presidential election in the country will be turbulent, irrespective of who wins. “Even if Buhari wins the election today, there will be reactions. Somebody was telling me that the violence would stop if General Muhammadu Buhari wins. This shows Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC) are behind it. “However, we should remember that the economy of this country lies in the South-South, so, we must balance it. It is not a win- win situation, even for Jonathan, but Nigerians must be ready to accept the result of the election and I can assure you that Jonathan will win,” he said. According to the Ekiti governor, Buhari did not possess the eloquence, ability and the capacity to lead the country, stressing that at this stage, the country requires graduates with capacity to lead it to the promised land. He said “the era where you will say I am leading Nigeria with school certificate is gone. I don’t take people on a personal note, but this particular leadership we are looking for must have the competence. Jonathan is the first Nigerian president who has the paper qualification. General Buhari truly doesn’t have the certificate. “People claimed that I don’t have the certificates too. I have gone through the courts, including the tribunal. So, what else are we talking about? I want General Buhari too to submit himself for us to check. It is not about popularity alone. “Buhari must address the certificate issue in the overall interest of Nigeria. If Ayo Fayose with HND in a state like Ekiti is seen as someone without education, so, General Buhari will now come with the Almajiri School and come and lead Nigeria?” |
Mikel Obi has beaten Alex Song and Sadio Mane to be named the English Premier League’s African Player of the Month of December. Awards director ‘Tunde Adelakun said, “As always, it was a difficult choice, but a lot of factors came into consideration before we selected Mikel. “Mikel has endured a difficult start to the season, falling down the pecking order in a star-studded Chelsea team that is riding high in the Premier League. After all, we all know that no one likes changing a winning team. “However, the spirit of professionalism which he displayed in waiting for his chance, and taking it well with some solid performances in a difficult month, tipped the award his way this month.” Commending the performances of Alex Song and Sadio Mane, the statement said, “Mane has settled into his role in the Premier League like if he has always been here. The way he took his goals against Crystal Palace and the might of Chelsea proves that the Senegalese will be a force in this league for some time to come. “And as for Song, he is just solid as ever; and if he was not rested in some of the games over the festive period, he would have made the decision even harder for us”. Adelakun commended the level of the African performance in the English Premier League this season so far, stating that “the Africans have been a real credit to the continent, and when we watch them in the League, it is with pride". http://mtnfootball.com/news/495564/Mikel-beats-Mane-Song-to-EPL-award |
Dear Mr. President, With due respect Sir, I write this letter with high hopes that it reaches you with a sober heart and a pair of open ears. In Maiduguri, Borno State, 54 Soldiers were accused of mutiny, assault, cowardice and refusing to fight members of Boko Haram in the north eastern part of the Country and a judgement “sentenced to death by firing squad for mutiny” has been placed upon them. Fellow Nigerians have cried out for helps, and your response towards this determines our fate. I speak for a large demographic of Nigerians that have long awaited Mr. President to speak in a direct tone before the Soldiers would be condemned to death by firing squad. We strongly believe in the voice of the people because it is also the voice of God! I believe that when a son asks his father for a fish; he cannot offer him “snake” instead. Many of us, whether we admit it or not, looked to you for some form of moral support. We do not want to die. We do not want the Soldiers to die (instead find alternatives for their punishments). We do not want more bloodshed after so much that have happened especially in the Northern Part of Nigeria. We totally agree with the laws guiding Soldiers about mutiny but I don’t want to find excuses for defence. Instead we plead for mercy to consider many bloods that have been sacrificed in Nigeria recently. Some reports say “how can you face a battle with an assault rifle aiming at your face while you are not equipped”? But we are not giving you that as an excuse. List of Soldiers sentenced to Death – Firing Squad I personally believe in PEACEFUL Demonstrations, the fellow Nigerians have spoken against judgement pronounced upon them and pleaded for mercy. You may refer to See Comments here . With much hope for your leadership and with great admiration for your accomplishments thus far, Please help us fight against this condemnation as the “right side history awaits you” based on this. We love you and respect you. We are simply asking you to help us on this matter. God Bless you! And God continues to Bless NIGERIA!!! Humbly, ADELOVE. #Let9jaVoiceBeHeard..... http://www.adelove.com/letter-to-mr-president-goodluck-jonathan/ |
The INEC has rejected the Oyo State PDP governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, in the 2015 election. The INEC had written to the National chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu to be guided by the order of the court on the election. In the letter addressed to the national chairman of the party, signed by the commission’s secretary, Augusta C. Ogakwu, INEC confirmed the receipt of the court order restraining it from accepting the party’s candidates from Oyo State. The letter said the Federal High Court, Abuja had restrained the commission from accepting, recognising or treating as nominated, candidates of the PDP who did not emerge in accordance with the order of the court, urging the party to be guided accordingly. The party had gone ahead to conduct the primary elections in the state, using only statutory delegates when the controversies trailing the ad hoc ward delegates congress held on two different occasions could not be resolved. The decision to use the statutory delegates was also against a court order by E. S. Chukwu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which directed that a specific list of delegates obtained at the second ad hoc ward delegates congress be used for the purpose of the primary elections. With the use of only the statutory delegates of about 200, over 1,000 ad hoc delegates from the 351 wards in the 33 local government areas of the state at three delegates per ward were disenfranchised. http://leadership.ng/news/396853/2015-inec-rejects-folarin-oyo-pdp-gov-candidate |
