Board of directors are people elected to represent shareholders of a company, don't forget that shareholders own certain percentage of shares in the company.

Some shareholders might even hold shares far higher than that of the CEO. Now, when the board representing them notice anything that could draw the company back, they immediately take action so it doesn't put the shareholders at great risk/loss.
So if majority of the board members vote for the suspension of the CEO for doing a wrong thing....so be it.

As for ur second question, Business admin is better off, if you could change to biz admin, it's far better, many opportunities await you after graduation. But u must be good in calculation to fit in properly.

It depends on the company, you might have some period for training, which u would be given just training allowance.

And if it's a job without this training thing, you should divide the salary and multiply by the number of days u worked.

Another thing is, your company might have some deductions like HMO, pension, tax etc. Which would be deducted from your salary. U might also have a shocking boost as a result of team commission/bonus etc.

So u see, it depends on many factors, but an organized company would have stated all these in your employment letter.
If u are totally confused just walk up to ur HR or Accountant, they will break it up for you.

I left the job I was doing in January because of the heavy stress and low pay. Ever since then, it's been from one interview to another
The last one I even attended was last week and the whole process was so organised. they even sent me my score so I thought I had made it in life. Only for them to later inform me to come with some money to get some training materials for the job. I did some findings about the organisation which I didn't had time to do because of the short interval between my application and the call for interview.
Las las, I got info from a legit source that everything they were doing was just packaging. Na so I weak...

That's how it happens in most cases...but don't you think the honesty has enlightened her and thousands of Nigerian now?
I think it would always be better off if interviewers tell us the truth behind disqualification in most cases

u are very correct, extremely short people can't work in an hotel , especially a good hotel at that mo offence whatsoever..my friend was rejected at i fitness because she was big despite been one of the best candidate.

Lol... that's just it, dem no want make she dey pursue dem customers...."see where we com register to gym wey dey first person wey we com meet fat like dis, this one no b good sign o". All those ppl opposing it will also know how it feels when they establish or become one of the big decision makers in a company. It's a known fact everywhere in the world there are other requirements for job which sometimes ur certificate alone can't help.

I know I may get some backlashes for this on Nairaland but the truth is some industries deal more with looks than any other thing, hospitality (I mean the top ones) is one of them. Even if you apply for some position in bank without an extreme enticing body/shape, you will not be selected.
It's a known fact everywhere not just in Nigeria, you should know your look/ body shape can get you disqualified for some jobs.

I remember someone saying "ooomo, una get fine fine girls for here o" when I was working for one company few years ago. The truth is beauty is one of the things they consider in that company when recruiting (not only for girls), because they believe they sell looks and naturally or not, you must be presentable at all times.
Most top hospitality need modelled structured individuals especially at the front office or someone with banging body as Yinkaolusesi16 says. It's the plain truth, it's not as if they are selling them, but they add value to the company. It's a form of indoor advert. You may understand better when you have your own business.

Sorry about that babe, but the best for you will soon come where you would be greatly valued just for who you are.

Introverts are self-confidence people to begin with, we only get drained when spending much time with people. Healthy introverts believe in themselves.

That being said, starting up relationship depends on individual and personality types. Some introverts may prefer to start offline while some may prefer online. Some might have no issues either ways. It's a thing of choice. As Same goes for extroverts.

Remember the fact that we are more comfortable indoor doesn't mean we do not go to school, work and few other places when necessary, that's enough for a meetup

We try to analyze people so we could know the matured minds we can keep real work relationship with, this might go on for the first week or a bit more. The qualities we look out for in these people might differ according to our personality types.

But we all try to avoid small talk, we just observe instead of mingling. Nevertheless, we extend normal courtesy to everyone.
