Go for the new job, the MFB management are users, nothing good can come from them, believe me.

Y did it take them this long to implement salary increment when u guys keep making money for them everyday?

Something that will even be peanut and don't be surprised another increment might be in 4 years.

The new job will boost Ur CV like mad, u wouldn't even expect it. Just don't relent on the contract job (they might not convert) continue searching for better offer.

Besides it's not always a good idea to go back to a job after resignation. I'v never seen anyone that did it without regret.

I agree with you but the Southerner children/parents too have issues, a northern child would stay where the parents ask him/her to stay, where they know they have influence.

Southerners always look upper than our normal levels both the parents and the children.

Like a civil servant (e.g a secretary)in secretariat want his/her child to become an engineer so as to work in oil company where they don't have any connection instead of starting from that same parental root for easy employment and even the parent working in oil company wants their kid to be pilot.

That's the root of our problem

The aim is not bad though, it's just that the mentality of northerners finally match the present situation of the country.

I know of a Hausa guy who studied Fine Art and has been teaching fine art since he graduated just got a job as a head ICT in an agency in Abuja. Southerners are the ones selling job slots, the Hausa are just empowering their people. I was at EFCC office in PH, 65 per cent of the staff there are Hausa, young guys with flashy cars. The security guy there drives a Camry 2.2.

These private organisations are just modern day slavery in disguise. Why would anyone want you to work overtime without pay? Even when pay is included, it should be optional.

I wouldn't do it for any reason as I have learnt my lesson in my very first place of work. If you like go to hell for them it doesn't bring any benefit to you. It's slavery and shouldn't be encouraged once it's outside your contract.

The company should get more hands if they want continuous/round the clock work.

I will go for 50k with pension and HMO than 80k anywhere.

That's how most org deceive ppl at the beginning, later u'll realize that the so called pension and hmo are being deducted from ur salary, not like they are doing it as a favor. U go home with very little at the end of the day.

It's better u keep saving as little as u can from ur salary urself bro.
