The solution to traffic is simple, fix the inner roads and create alternatives for vehicles to pass instead of every vehicle plying the major roads.

There are many options of connecting to different places in Lagos, but because of bad roads most people resort to plying the major roads.

The funny thing is those crude he’s importing from the US are actually in their oil reserves, not that they just drilled it from the ground and sell.

My question is does Nigeria as a country have crude oil reserves?

Okada is not and has never been part of Lagos state transportation plan. It’s not tradition.

Okada was successfully banned during Fashola’s regime and they only operated within streets and mostly rural areas.

Creating a path for Okada on the highway is no solution. Outright banning and outlawing them from using the highways is the only solution.

When will the Nigerian army stop this needless waste of the lives of its men? What is an FOB without air cover? How can an attack go unchallenged for hours and an airstrike wasn't called in? We waste billions in buying combat platforms and yet we lack the skills and know how to effectively use them.

It is a disgrace that our military would rather prefer to carry millions of dollars to buy fighter jets and helicopters that cannot give immediate eyes on the ground capabilities that a 5000 dollar FPV drone can. That is incompetence as far as I'm concerned.

Shocking thing is that boko haram carries out this attack and returns to their base without our military even knowing where the base is located. A cheap drone that hovers over the theatre can trail these attackers to thier base and the coordinates pin pointed for eventually strikes. We have none of that.

A competent armed force doesn't experience this kind of humiliation. Certainly not with the billions of defense dollars we have expended over the years. That it keeps happening is very shameful. It calls into question the training of our officers and men.

There's a combat footage going around where hundreds of jihadists were attacking a Burkinabe military base. What did the Burkinabe soldiers do? The sent a drone up that was giving them real time video feed of terrorist movements around the base. They then deployed a Bayraktar drone that with just 2 strikes, killed over a hundred jihadists. The rest of the terrorists got the message and fled. Not one soldier in that base lost his life. Does Nigeria not have far more money than Burkina Faso? Yet we don't even have a Bayraktar and this is something Turkey even gives for free.

The day we are ready for this thing to end it will end. But so long as people are using this thing to cash out, it will never end. Boko haram is a business the elite are using to cash out. That's the only way the incompetence of our armed forces can be explained.

It is really sickening that our armed forces waste the lives of soldiers on land battles that can be easily won using air advantages.

Because of the reckless fuel subsidy removal the following losses occured within the Macro and Micro Economy :

1 . GDP lost approximately 200 billion dollars in one year

2. Inflation went up by almost 500 percent in some sectors .

3. Life expectancy reduced by almost 10 points.

4. The govt spent another 5 billion dollars on palliative approach to mitigate subsidy removal effects .

5 . It now cost the govt 5 times more to fund any project so simply put a 100km road that could have cost 100 billion naira will now coast the govt 500 billion Naira to build meaning the govt will now be able to build fewer infrastructure due to its own foolishness.

6. potential for economic recovery reduced to almost non existent

7. Massive job losses as many businesses folded up as a result of the harsh fall out of reckless subsidy removal.

8. Debt profile shot up from 60 trillion Naira to 140 trillion in just over a year .

I opine that Nigeria has lost about 450 billion dollars in value , potential and standard of living in one year in order to save 10 billion dollars ...Does this make any sense at alll

USA and UK on the other hand had been cutting interest rates to drive inflation further down.

USA is dropping interest rates to reduce inflation. Nigeria keeps increasing interest rates to reduce inflation, but inflation keeps inflating.
