I see no reason if everyone in the south had cued at the back of Igbos in the name of southern unity that we would not be getting the president .After-all the other components that made up the south were supported with votes to make them president.

My Yoruba brother support igbo presidency we Live together in the south we are not going anywhere.

It pains me so much that our so called elders keep making the same mistakes. I honestly want to see a United south. I have several Igbo friends and business partners, a friend of mine who is Yoruba is getting married to an Igbo lady. You played a role no doubt but do not take credits of members of the nPDP that collapsed PDP structure then. The total votes from the south west for APC was less than 2.7M, Kaduna and Kano had more than the entire votes of the South west for the APC.

I just hope we the younger generations are learning from our elders mistakes. The closest neighbors to Yorubas are the Igbos, most of us born here have known Igbos all our lives because we’ve lived in harmony, but when it comes to political alignments Yorubas and Igbos suddenly hate each other. Our elders planted these seeds of enmity in us for I don’t know why. If you ask them, they’ll say “Igbo o da” without giving any concrete reason why they said so. The same thing goes to Igbos they don’t like Yorubas for reasons I still do not understand.

The Hausa/Fulani that we keep aligning with keep playing us and we still continue running back to them. A United South will send shivers down the spines of the entire North; they know that and pray it never happens. I just hope the new generations abolish all these bullshit hate and come together as one. Maybe we should be called Yoruba/Igbo

It would have been a very good replacement option for our local okada that they just enforced their ban.

I think it’s better to waste my vote on another party rather than APC or PDP. Even if the candidate no win, I will know I didn’t vote any of those useless parties.

The only reason they supported buhari in 2019 was because they were expecting a reciprocation come 2023. And Tinubu is the only APC candidate that can win Atiku. They really trashed Osinbajo yesterday.
It is now they realized buhari is a tyrant who doesn't speak much, proper democracy is not practice by his administration and that Nigeria is in a mess.
The space was full of hypocrisy, they just want to force Tinubu on everyone.

Those threats are empty. Buhari will pick his preferred candidate and Tinubu alongside his supporters can and will do nothing.

They did same for Ambode in 2018; there will be a primary and Tinubu will lose woefully. The mistake is he trusting a Hausa man will betray his fellow Hausa man to support an outsider. The Northern governors and delegates will follow whoever Buhari asks them to support.

It’s funny how some people keep saying Tinubu made Buhari president. I always ask how? Tinubu supported Atiku in 2007 and Nuhu Ribadu in 2011, both didn’t have up to 2.5M votes in each campaign.

The fact remains Buhari was the only candidate that could defeat PDP in 2015, even Tambuwal confessed that they all wanted Buhari then as he was the only one that could pull such weight. Tinubu contributed his quota no doubts, but he didn’t make Buhari president.

Enron struck a juicy deal with Lagos, as Lagos guaranteed payment for bulk supply of electricity. Their capacity to deliver was not affected by whatever issues they had abroad. Obj reneged on FG's guarantee to allow bulk supply to Lagos, on the transmission grid, which Enron needed for supply. Transmission was FG's asset and exclusive operation. FG mixed Enron's supply with other power sources, thereby undermining bulk supply to Lagos. That was the issue, nothing else!

Enron was broke and bankrupt. They wouldn’t have done anything tangible. Take out time to read about why the company itself failed.

A struggling firm can be resuscitated through diversification or investing in a new market, such as power in Nigeria. Enron could have been bankrupt because of recession or unfavourable market situation. So long as Enron had the technology to deliver promised service to Lagos, it was good to go. OBJ frustrated the deal. It was a wicked move!

MTN was not a big firm in SA before coming to Nigeria. The Nigerian huge market made it a monstrous corporation it is, today.

Enron had nothing to do anything tangible. The company was in debt and hid it from investors. Maybe Obj saw what we later saw and that’s why he frustrated the deal to avoid us loosing money. Obj did the right thing.
