Kemetian: Look, you people need to GROW UP on this forum.
You are not children.
It is OBSCENE to talk about the pre-fuel subsidy removal prices as the Barometer for where prices should be, WITHOUT outrightly saying ''Bring back subsidies!''.
So SAY IT.
Say ''Bring back fuel subsidies and dual exchange rates so we can have low prices.''
So that Nigerians will know that your heads are not correct. The dual exchange rate you mentioned was introduced by your APC under Buhari. Through PDP years the exchange rate was very stable and black and official market prices were very similar with very little difference. |

I think it is crystal clear Nigeria's issue is not a problem of leadership alone. Are you even aware that the said property is in the name of two persons? At least according to the document the poster uploaded. Now, if two people co-own a property, is it proper for one of those persons to declare the co-owned property as his asset when he hasn't taken sole ownership of such property? You guys should learn to reason efficiently. |
Politics › Re: Sowore's $552,000 Mansion In US by Sheuns(m): 9:39am On Sep 26, 2025 |
seunmsg: Did he declare the property in his Asset declaration form? Again, it is irrelevant whether he has held a public office or not. If he wants to become president, he should declare the source of his income. Nigerians want to know where he got the money to buy the house. It could be proceed from Money Laundering so transparency at this point is very important. If there is nothing fishy, he would have declared the property and not lied on oath about it. LOL. What asset declarations form? Was he ever elected or appointed into a political position? Which of Nigerian laws asks for candidates to declare their assets? You can send him a direct email to find out how he acquired such property. |

That's what they are implying. I don’t think there’s any law that mandates candidates to declare their assets. I only know of law that mandates “elected officials” to declare their assets. |

Has Sowore ever held an elective position or had a political appointment ever in his life in Nigeria?
Why should anyone be bothered if he has a property in the USA worth $500k?
The document shows the property is in the name of two persons, the second name Opeyemi O Sowore is Sowore's wife. A property co-owned by two persons cannot be unilaterally declared by one of both parties.
Go school, study well, expand your knowledge base, you guys said no. Instead, you chose to defend politicians that steal and are looting your future. |

And NO. Air-conditioned City Metro Railway networks are NOT ''common in ''third world'' countries, so stop lying out of your hate for Nigeria. Calm down. The metros you use in those countries have been in place for decades. This Lagos metro is barely 2 years since its launch. Why not wait and compare after a decade. |
