Why do we fear death so much as a people?

If there’s one thing we shouldn’t fear, that thing is death because it is inevitable.

The new minister from plateau hasn't been screened, not to talk of being listed on the website. Moreover, you can combine appointment with party position,it is acceptable. Late Audu Ogbe was PDP N/ chairman and also special Adviser to President OBJ at the same
He should have been removed as the minister on the website and the space left blank until a new one is appointed.

I could remember how they mocked Obasanjo when he said the refinery couldn't work.

Babajide Otitoju of TVC took it upon himself to abuse everyone who dared to say the government was lying about the refinery.
That man called Otitoju is the opposite of his name.

The same man went to the refinery and claimed he did a tour. I’m sure now he’s blind to see it.

Obj already explained why those refineries can’t work.

They were never designed to do what these politicians say it does.

For it to work, it has to be pulled down and rebuilt.

Well listed.

The number one solution to majority of Nigeria’s problems is serious investment in our educational sector. What we have now and had for some decades ago have been proper bad education.

When you properly educate the populace, other things will gradually fall in place.

owobokiri:
Barack Obama and Nicholas Zarkosy bombed the Ivorian presidential mansion just to remove President Gbagbo from office. Their favourite man was Allasene Quattara, who is now running endlessly as the president of Ivory Coast.

Quattara was supposed to be the guy who would bring true democracy to Ivory Coast. But whatbhas happened? He is now a sit tight ruler, who fights more for the western alliance that imposed him as the president of Ivory Coast and not for the people of that country.

This should open the eyes of many Africans who supported the NATO forces in their unconstitutional acts in Abidjan. While you guys were swallowing the nebulous western propaganda agaist Gbagbo line hook and sinker, the West rode on your support to impose their lackey on the good people of Ivory Coast.
I’m glad there’s someone that remembers how this guy became president.

This man was supposed to be much better than Gbagbo (so they made him appear), but he has just proven to be another dictator.

It's like you boasting before God that you won't pay the tithe of your harvest next year but God laughs and says, ok now, there won't be rain nor water next year. What the dickens are you going to do, little man?
In short, you’re equating a mere mortal to the Omnipotent?

BusinessRe: Coca-Cola Records $393 Million Loss In Sale Of Chi Limited by Sheuns(m): 1:24am On Oct 26, 2025
FreeStuffsNG:
Loss kọ Logs ni. Nonsense and ingredient.

They must think that we are fools when they are touting loss and pushing it through favourable media platforms in order to avoid paying tax on the gain if they declare it.

Furthermore, Coca-Cola has a marchavelian brutal strategy of forcing out competitors by using opaque and irresistible offer to the competitor in order to literally kill them and pass on the carcass to a less discerning competitor to be distracted by the dying brand.

Coca-Cola paid $1 billion dollars to acquire Chivita, not based on any sensible valuation but to kill the competitor and later avoid paying tax in subsequent years by declaring loss. They are suggesting that FIRS should forfeit tax it would have earned for years from Chivita if the company had not been bought or a transparent valuation of Chivita had been done and that amount paid.

FIRS should hold them tight and get creative in ensuring that they don't run to South Africa and use our money to defray their tax liabilities in their homeland.

It would be nice if appropriate agencies should review the acquisition of Chivita again.

Coca-Cola Internationa(HBC) has offered to pay billions of dollars to buy out Coca-Cola Africa which owns the controlling interests in Coca-Cola Africa. Coca-Cola Africa is owned by the South African Gustche family.

FIRS should shine its eyes! They are free to divest to Coca-Cola USA but they must pay all the statutory fees and FCCPC too should get involved.

The South African Gustche family want to cash out big time, avoid paying huge tax to Nigeria as HBC expands into Africa especially the Nigerian market.

It's UACN that fell mugu that I pity most. Won ti gba yin Mr UACN sir! Chivita was not even worth the $1 billion dollars valuation that Coca-Cola claimed it was worth and it's Chivita carcass that you have even overpaid for!

If I were on the UACN Board of Directors ehn, that deal will not fly or would have been at rock bottom price. Sincerely, I will do everything within my power in a God-fearing, lawful and factually persuasive, compelling manner to protect UACN and its shareholders.
You said all these but failed to give us the value you think Chi Limited was before CocaCola bought it.

Superiors that are supposed to do everything in their capacity to ensure their men (soldiers) are safe and well catered for are the ones directing them to work with the enemy that killed many of their brothers in arms.

They tag the enemy “repentant” and put them in their platoons.

It’s either those superiors are dumb or they work indirectly for the enemy.
PoliticsRe: Oseni Rufai Replies To Bayo Onanuga Calling Him "Economic Illiterate" by Sheuns(m): 6:11pm On Oct 24, 2025
The economic literates have put the economy in the worst shape since independence.

Surprisingly, there are no external factors influencing this state. It’s all caused by their own economic “literacy”.

Arrogant set of people who won’t accept that they’ve failed even when they know they’re failures.

Nothing like the head controls the tail.

All the people in ur local govt speaks same language with u.
If you cant hold your local govt chairman embezzling ur local resources, by the time u have ur own country, it is the same people that will be the head of that country.
If u cant hold then now, i am sorry u cant still hold them accountable when u have ur country
Why should i as a citizen be the one to hold the person that’s the chairman of my local government accountable?

What are the institutions created to do check and balances meant for?

EFCC, ICPC, the state house of assembly, the police etc.

You guys are quick to shift the blame to the people while leaving the ones saddled with the responsibilities aloof.

Makinde is threatening the FG?

He has sold all state lands to real estate developers. He is now eyeing the FG land to be sold.

A place dedicated as children playground (Trans Amusement Park) for years in the heart of the city has been sold to a real estate developer.
Same with Agodi Garden.

Makinde is unhinged.

The man has lost his moral compass, and I wonder the set of people egging him on.
Says a Tinubu supporter.

Do you want to pretend Tinubu didn’t allocate Lagos state government lands to himself and sold some to private organizations while he was governor?

Let us start with the development in FCT, there is no week where there is no project being commissioned. Let us look at the exchange rate, before now businesses could not get USD whereas some corrupt people would get USD at the exchange rate and sell at the black market with as much as 100 on top, now, the process for getting USD is transparent; no need to know anybody

Should I continue?
For the first time in its history, the stock market hit an ASI of 150k. Investors are coming back into the country because for the first time they are seeing purposeful leadership.

Or is it the foreign reserve that has hit $45B, the highest in about 5 years? Or the fact that the companies that could not repartriat etheir money can now move their money out.

There now massive investment in roads all over thte country not just the Calabar Lagos coastal road.
