Not true. A dead body can be delayed from burial for certain reasons.

Burial should be done within 3 days but most people just prefer to do so in 24hrs. There’s no law that says it must be 24hrs.

In fact Islam allows the corpse to be examined if you suspect foul play in the death which can help in criminal investigations or for the general public.

E.g if someone dies from an unknown ailment, it is permissible to examine the corpse to learn more about the ailment and how it can help prevent or control the ailment amongst the community.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a former international football player, Segun George Hunkarin, and his associate, Ntoruka Chinedu, for attempting to smuggle cocaine into Nigeria through Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

Chinedu, a regular traveller known for importing clothes from Turkey and exporting foodstuffs from Nigeria, was arrested on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, upon arrival from Turkey via an Ethiopian Airlines flight with a stopover in Addis Ababa.

A statement by the agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday stated that a search of his hand luggage uncovered 37 wraps of cocaine weighing 800 grammes, which he had reportedly collected in Ethiopia before heading to Nigeria.

Further investigation led to the arrest of Hunkarin, a former professional footballer who had spent years playing in Brazil.



My take on this:
"Hunkarin" doesn't sound like a conventional Yoruba name. I suspect that could be an Ogu name just like "Hundeyin." There is "Hungbe" and more.

However, there is a popular Dahomeyan (now Beninese) by the name Louis HUNKARIN who was born in Porto Novo and died in Porto Novo who took part in the resistance movement against the French in his country of Benin Republic.

The arrested guy is possibly of Beninese ORIGIN based on the name George Hunkarin and probably descended from the family tree of Louis HUNKARIN. It could ALSO be a case of identity theft, so, these are the variables intelligence agencies MUST NOT overlook as part of standard procedure in criminal investigations.

Tinubu finished from CSU in 1979. Zingman was born in 1966, that makes him 13 years old when Tinubu finished from CSU. If we assume he was a 3 year junior to Tinubu, that makes him 10 years old in 100L. A 10 years old in USA based on their academic age requirements would still likely be in elementary school. How did Zingman make it to university at such young age?

Zingman’s records are online. He never attended CSU. He had his degree in Belarus at a polytechnic. He came to USA University of Illinois in 1991-1995 for a masters.

It is possible that Tinubu met him while he ran away on exile in 1994, but they were never school mates according to their academic records.
