It is not ideal to have multiple laws governing a particular state or region.

Having both sharia law and constitutional laws in some states in Nigeria were badly thought decisions.

For sharia law to work in a state, it must be the only law available in that state and must be administered to everyone in that state irrespective of influence or status. That’s not the case in the northern states.

We’ve heard how several of politicians over there have been accused of public funds embezzlement, yet they are never tried in shariah courts.

Shariah law practiced in the northern states of Nigeria is all but hypocrisy and a tool for the elites to use to suppress the masses over there because that same law doesn’t apply to them.

Why would lawmakers break into a place where the mace was kept just because you want to impeach your speaker.

Why can’t they just be civil and wait till he is around and carry out the impeachment normally.

Okada is not solution to emergency or traffic.

The solution to traffic is simple, fix the inner roads and create alternatives for vehicles to pass instead of every vehicle plying the major roads.

There are many options of connecting to different places in Lagos, but because of bad roads most people resort to plying the major roads.

The funny thing is those crude he’s importing from the US are actually in their oil reserves, not that they just drilled it from the ground and sell.

My question is does Nigeria as a country have crude oil reserves?

Okada is not and has never been part of Lagos state transportation plan. It’s not tradition.

Okada was successfully banned during Fashola’s regime and they only operated within streets and mostly rural areas.

Creating a path for Okada on the highway is no solution. Outright banning and outlawing them from using the highways is the only solution.
