It is not easy to sort the financing.

LCDAs aren’t under LG technically. Reason is that LGA and LCDA administrators (chairmen) are elected equally. The elections are conducted the same time.

So a LCDA chairman may see himself as equal to LGA chairman.

Lagos state shares the LGA allocations amongst all LCDAs and LGAs currently which will be impossible to do when LGAs start receiving allocations directly from the FG.

The LCDA scraping is actually a sensible thing to do since LGAs will receive allocations directly from the FG henceforth.

If it is not scrapped, how do the LCDAs get funding? The constitution recognizes only 20 LGAs in Lagos state.

The frictions in the party is too much, so many aggrieved members that are being silenced by party heirachy. Remember the last general elections? Some members of the party in Ikorodu, Alimosho etc complained of being neglected and only reached out to during election periods. Those are signs of a house that is divided and largely in disorder. The glue holding them together is Tinubu.

The question you should ask yourself and those that posted these is what percentage of Nigerians enjoy stable electricity compared to those that don’t enjoy.

Electricity supply was better under Buhari regime than this at least talking from my own experience.
