Ndu_Chuks is no confused man . . . He does not dispute the fact that the trend he pointed out in his Original Post could be present in the Northern or Western Leadership cycle. . . He is only interested in identifying with the East for reasons best known to him . . . His attacker on this thread should see beyond blind ethnic interest and give the thread the direction and seriousness it deserves.

Somebody has gone into some research here, Maybe or Maybe not this pattern is present in northern Governor and Western Governor . . . this us a thread for leaders of Eastern Nigeria extract on an anonymous forum for now.
Politics / Re: Ndigbo Must Look Northward,Westward, Diaspora For The Next Crop Of Igbo Leaders by sheyguy: 4:46pm On Sep 25, 2012
The topic says: Ndigbo Must Look Northward,Westward, Diaspora For The Next Crop Of Igbo Leaders and part of the Origianl Post says
If you don't believe me, let me point out that the most revered Igbo leader, Ikemba himself, was a Northerner at heart. Most will agree that Okorocha is turning out to be the best governor to ever rule in ala Igbo. Why, well, Okorocha spent most of his adult lie outside of Igbo land in Jos.
So how does the above translate to insult on Igbo pple?

Politics / Re: The President Still Doesn’t Get It by sheyguy: 1:15pm On Sep 25, 2012
No criminal or murderer has been tried and sentenced in Nigeria since Jonathan became president. Nothing has happened to the MEND murderers who killed several innocent people in Abuja on October 1, 2010, and nothing has happened to the several Boko Haram elements that have been arrested and ... heck, nothing has happened to the several armed robbers and kidnappers that have been apprehended since he became president. And the president does not expect to be criticized for such a laid-back and I-don’t-give-a-damn attitude to governance?
Don't blame him. If you know where he is coming from you will understand why he wants to be praised always . . . Someone who ruled Bayelsa and can still come out to tell us that in his village pure water is luxury and that Lawyers, Doctors, and other noble men who came out for the subsidy protest in Lagos where subtly bribed with Puff-Puff and Banga-Rice . . . now his die hard supporters can choke on Fresh air until 2015!

I wonder what Jarus stands to gain from his blind support for SLS. Same SLS who sees usage of fuel by Nigerians as consumption and called them rent seekers . . . In other words, when i power a gen set with subsidized fuel to get normal work done, i am a rent seeking parasite and just consume it cos i don't pay for it.

@Ndu_chucks,

Would you at least add the great Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu (the one and only Nigerian revolutionary) to your list?

I'm patiently waiting for the "correction".
"Na gode" in advance. wink
Some time back we had a thread for Nzeogwu and he was hailed by Igbos on Nl as even greater than all other igbomen, so don't blame others when they assume him as one of your heroes . . . . If not the greatest.
I see the 'goal post' being shift every minute by our SE followers in a bid to avoid those they have come to love hating over time . . .

he said rochas and ojukwu till now and you wonder whether dee sam mbakwe and m.i.okpara never existed cry

pure unadulterated ignorance.

as for nduchuks if you know the level of deprivation and abject poverty your leaders up north have inflicted on the talakwas up north you would be more worried on how to castrate former(except ahmadu bello) and existing northern leaders grin
how come Igbos on NL never acknowledge those other guys you 've suddenly remember now? Before now it used to be Rochas and Ojukwu. . . How come the sudden U-Turn in who and who is a past heroes or outsanding Leader? . . . What about Kaduna . . . the triger-happy one?

If you will accept your ignorance on this topic, the world will be a better place.

And BTW, traveling out means the traveler imbibes both the good and bad attributes of the host community. I see you acting unthinkingly again in your penultimate post.
So what happens when the host community of the traveller is always churning out reformed visitors ? . . . Wouldn't it be more fair to say the positives of the host community out weighs its negatives? Hmmm?

The attack on my person deepens after some unbearable silence . . . It took him some time to come up with his weak aarse reply and when the reply did come, i could easily tell what he was going through . . . Mental torture.
Again, the thread seeks to exploit the common traits of the relatively performing leaders of the South East in a bid to harness more Good Leaders for that region. SE is not a tribe and should not be treated as the opposite of any tribe . . . . Getting personal will only expose you more.

You are ignorant:
Gov Sam Mbakwe and Jim Nwobodo of Imo and Anambra states (Shagari regime) performed very well to the extent that they established the first and second state-owned universities in Nigeria

Imo Airport built by Mbakwe is also the first state-built airport in Nigeria

You are better of eating amala and oily-ewedu than spewing such crass ignorance.
I am not an Igbo leader bros . . . You can derail the thread if you want to and get personal with me . . . In the end it does not change the harsh reality on ground.

lol. Silly! grin grin

The only none performing SE governors are Elechi, and Orji. I doubt if Chime, and Peter Obi fit into this 'Northern' breed Igbo leadership crap. That leaves out Rochas, It is incumbent upon you and the Op, that Rochas zeal is due to some 'elusive' traits he picked up in the North, when zealousness and passion abound in the SE.
Before now Ojukwu and Rochas were the Stand out leaders oh . . .

Again compared to who? SW leaders or Northern leaders? Certainly there MUST be a basis for comparison. right?
Some SE leaders compared to the rest in a bid to strike that common denominator the relatively performing ones have.

Is it not wisdom that one does not criticize others for doing the very same thing one does?
Nigeria is replete with lack of leadership, is that an Igbo-only problem?
The North ruled 32 out of 52 years of Nigeria. What did they achieve?
Since Awolowo died, what has been the political achievement of Yoruba leaders in Nigeria?
Did the North also rule every state in the south or S.East for 32 out of 52 yrs? I thinks the OP is trying to talk about pattern or things some of our relatively performing SE leaders have in common.

And you are going to explain how content people are aiding and abetting in terrorism? How bombing churches, killing christian, and youth corpers equates to contentment on part of the ordinary people in the North. While you are at it, give example of sacrifices made by current crop of Northern leaders. Atiku, IBB, Buhari, Ciroma, etc readily come to mind here? Perhaps the current crop of Northern governors have exhibited immense sacrifice. Give us their names and deed of sacrifice. It is not enough to join in a chorus, show conviction now!
Every region has their own brainwashed set of folks, North does not equal BH . . . as for Atiku, IBB, Buhari, Ciroma coming to mind, they are not the average Northerners i was talking about. Get it?
