Lukgaf:The statement is true, but people, not necessarily children can suffer the sins of the wrongdoers. For example, if a government is corrupt, it's citizens will likely suffer from it, e.g. Nigeria. Similarly, when Allah sends His punishment (what has falsely come to be known as natural disasters), it's not necessarily everyone in the area that was doing evil, however, everyone will suffer from it. That's why muslims should exclude themselves by enjoining good and forbidding evil. Allah revealed about those that broke the sabbath: 164. And when a community among them said: “Why do you preach to a people whom Allah is about to destroy or to punish with a severe torment?” (The preachers) said: “In order to be free from guilt before your Lord (Allah), and perhaps they may fear Allah.” 165. So when they forgot the remindings that had been given to them, We rescued those who forbade evil, but We seized those who did wrong with a severe torment because they used to rebel (disobey Allah). |
Lukgaf:lol, beautiful answer |
MrBrownJay1:While am not a Christian, I believe if the people that spread the religion spoke like you, Christianity won't have been here today |
Up4good:If you believe in God and believe that there might be repercussions for this and it will be worse than what you are trying to escape. The times are hard and I think it's very understandable hunger makes people do things that wont imagine ever doing. My advice and only an advice is to confess to your neighbours, and I want to believe that will be understanding and instead of putting yourself in a situation where you have to steal why not put yourself in a situation where you have to work and you will get something as little as the things that you are stealing. Someone came to my house a while back looking for job and even though there was nothing for her she asked if she could do anything even if it was to clean the kitchen and she did and she got paid for it, the little money would have paid for the things that was stolen to be better than to have stolen it. Again things are hard true but instead of wishing things were better wish I were stronger. Whatever happens eventually all pass away I need to be history as far as this world is concerned. |
PinUp:You have already gotten two, I'll say pick one and work on it, or both. If you have too much info, it'll just be overload and you won't know what to do. Almost anything can make money if someone puts the time, but jumping from one opportunity to the next which is what most people do is a sure way to not see the money come. |
Amoto94:I thought i'll comment: If someone was to have it at the back of his mind that the real end is when he meets Allah, and the actions he meets Allah with will determine whether he succeeds or fails, then (1) He won’t want to have on his record that he acted unjustly, (2) He will not be happy at people’s praise because he seeks his reward from Allah, not the people, (3) He won’t become upset when people criticise him because his actions are not for them, rather it may be an opporturnity to improve upon them. (4) As long as he knows what he says is true, it won’t matter to him whether or not he is believed, (5) And he won’t repay deception with the like. Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them. Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. (23:109-111) |
Yemialade:Omo, the guy is busy oo(though I don't know what he's doing). A guy like him will receive a lot of dm, especially from newbies, which he doesn't work with anymore. He has scaled his business, and even has someone handling a good portion of his business. Unless you have something to offer if value to him, don't expect an answer. That's just how it is. |
RESHARPENED:Hmm, good to know. Thanks for the info |
lovediehatelive:Better late than never, I heard something like they would deduct $50 for a particular kind of transfer if it's USD account, is that so? Will they deduct $50 from your kdp earnings? |
And then, my biggest fear is this, on both EUR and GBP
|
lovediehatelive:Hello, do you ,mean you can receive payments from amazon through grey.co uk account? I'm having issues with payoneer and would like to switch. KDP has already sent me notification about this month's payment, so is it too late for me?
|
Please does anyone know if i can use grey.co to receive payment on amazon? Payoneer rate is too poor and they won't let me add account because they didn't accept my NIN. Also, can i use grey.co to receive payments from fiverr, upwork, etc. Their dollar account isn't available but i have GBP account and i saw a site fiversquid which is like the uk version of fiver. Any info will be much appreciated, thanks. |

Klass99:nice one, I was having a very bad relationship with my parents and they were judging me saying that I'm disrespecting them after all they've done for me bla bla bla. and the truth is that people just behave as if they are perfect and they can do whatever they want because they are our parents. I felt really bad and depressed but just like you said if I followed their opinions I probably will I've been regretting, and though i have not reach where I want to be I think I'm better for not listening to them. also I noticed his attitude of parents cursing their children and everything and I wonder where they got it because I don't listen to any part of the world I'm suspecting it comes from Nigerian movies, all those evil spirits and parents blessings, like if they cause somebody it will follow the person and hunt them for life. anyways not all parents are like that. like my cousin her mother treats her so special and dear that people used to say that she was not born to suffer in this world, you probably get anything that she wants as long as our mother is around. |
Spammer Alert |
Don't beat yourself over it, if they think what they think, it's their choice. I've had people distance themselves from me when we were engaging and when they realised am a muslim they distance/block me. It's not you, it's them. Afterall, the people being scammed by nigerians usually know that they are nigerians before they are scammed, they trusted them. |
ashewoboy:Eating at home is healthier and cheaper, but if you calculate time the cook, it's probably better to eat outside. But if you hire a chef, depending on his/her price, it's probably best |
Fiscus105:She is the step-mother married to the step-daughter's father, and her real mother is with another man with children for him. So the girl is in her father's house and the OP is the wife/stepmom. That's what happen when you read one part and comment |
MrBrownJay1:Bros, what is 15k that you will abusing someone like this. She is not forcing anybody, if you don't want to give leave her alone biko. If she is deceiving people, what will 15k take from their life? Scammers are robbing people of millions and you won't see people insult them like this. 15k bros, 15k, i saw someone on Youtube who spends $1500 only on feeding, more than half a million. i know another whose monthly expense is $20k, am sure they won't mind helping people with little change, but they'll never meet, Allah knows why He made some rich and others poor. If i had the money, i'ld have given her, just for her strength of receiving these insult and staying strong, she even explained herself and you didn't bother. Chai! People should consider their mothers, sister and daughters if they in such situations and how you would want others to treat them. Anyways, sorry sister, if buy any chance you don't have capital for tech resources, have you considered local means of making money like small scale farming or private tutoring? |
Chosen44:looooooool. me sef dey laugh, i think that person watches a lot of nigerian movies. |
Well, for my mom, each of them will say it's they other and they will give an excuse. With my step, one thing will lead to the other and they will fight, when S.mom will want to escalate it to divorce, dad will cool down. but the beginning, ican't say, i'm preety sure one will keep something in mind, and one thing will lead to it being vented. |
Not married but being a child of divorced, i'll say it takes two to divorce, just like it took two to get married. My step is an (censored) but my father is not willing to let her go. Again, it takes two |
Kasaliola:It's too bad over people only know how to make someone feel worse. Sadly, everyone makes mistakes, some big and some small. What's important is correcting it, and you show you are ready to. It seems her negative attitude affects you and you react violently before you realise it. The extent of your remorse shows you can't control it, moreover, it sounds like it builds up and you vent your fustration by hitting her. It doesn't have to be so, you can be more in control, address the root cause and learn to be stronger emotionally. I believe i can help you, contact me if you're interested. |
Maryjane001:Whaaaaaat? Too bad, this reminds me of when i almost gave out my apple pin. i received an email say something something about my password, click the link. i did and went to a page looking like apple, only for them to ask for my password. As i was about to, i thought why would apple ask me for my pin, that's when i looked at the site and notice it was counterfeit. Those guys, looking for creative was just to rob people of their money. |
Kobojunkie:Well, first and foremost an accurate diagnosis. Depression is mostly caused by attachment to past failure/embarassments and reliving the incident over again in the mind. Ii might cause her to think badly of herself, which in turn will not look forward to or even fear the future, which is anxiety. A good start to treating mental illnesses is having a strong self-awareness, but people usually underestimate their capabilities and fear the difficulties of tasks or worries what others think. What does it have to do with fixing the problem? like i said accurate diagnosis, something from her past has affected her badly, and like many people, she's become like what i'll call pavlo's dogs, conditioned to accept failure/negative criticism then defining herself by it. Life as they say is full of ups and downs, when hit with the bad, some people get back up, but sadly, many stay down, and that seems to be what she's doing. |

Wow, i think this is the longest post i've seen on Nland |
Whatever happens, it's likely not going to be perfect first time around. find a way to manage the difficulties, make mistakes and take corrections. If we're to be honest, when we're old, would we want our children to put us in an old people's home or in theirs? Of course, some parents can be difficult, especially in this country. i try to think of what my own child will do, and do the same, when am not pissed off i guess. |
Poswahala:this is the problem. Advise, fix your mental health first. |
himir42175:Bro, i don't think anyone will support your wife for her actions, but if am to be honest, the problem lies more with you. Don't get me wrong, am not trying to criticise you, but it seems to be really affecting you, using statements such as crushed dignity, scared, dilema. In summary, you're too worried about what people think and you fear the unknown. Your wife shouldn't do that, but if she does, you don't know what's going to happen, you can however find reasons to justify your fears, so they become a self fulfilling prophecy. I think what you need to address is how you feel, about what she's doing. as for are actions, i can think of several things you can do to counter it that's keep you at ease. |
Yeah, had similar experience about 2 years ago, or one. i don't even know how many times they have called. Am sure it's more than 10. Points 1. You'll only see the message after you pick their call and they talk to you, if not, you'll see missed call 2. They always say their papa wants to thank you 3. the papa usually does that long prayer i don't know about the hypnosis, but the papa told me something about being the cheif native doctor for (i think) ogun state, that he has help many politicians and cheifs, do i want him to help me? i told him am a muslim and he cut the call. |
This matter didn't start when you beat your wife, things have been brewing like you said for three years. It might even be longer than that. For her to behave that way, it shows even though you were married, the relationship has dried, you'll have to decide whether you want to restore it or not. Marrying a second wife won't fix the first, unless you want to start a new family. |
