The first sign of seriousness is mass movement back to the region that they are agitating for but all we see is mass migration to Yorubaland. No amount of cursing and swearing in different languages can change that. Until it happens, this is mere attention seeking and noise making to retain some relevance. The Tivs, the Igallas etc have better chance.
Jonjam269: Igbos are not serious about the Biafra thing, if they are let all of them migrate back to thier region, as we speak many of them are still running to South West through midnight buses as refugees. They are just confused and delusional. Obingo today and Biafra tomorrow.
Ok Chinedu Isobo. You won, life goes on. Just enter night bus and head to Lagos to prove your brilliant hypothesis that it does not belong to Yorubas. Don't be intimidated, just do it - you are no longer that timid fresh graduate of yesterday
Jackanda1: You don rush go mention Igbo. But I never said anything about Abia state or Igbo land. I'm from south south.
It Seems you have a problem with the igbo people. Dem chase you for dream?
Just because we have majority of yorubas in lagos doesn't make it a yorubaland. Lagos belongs to all Nigerians.
I did not even mention Ilu Eko also called Lagos, when the next Oro festival curfew starts in Lekki just go there and tell them Lekki is in Abia State and part of Igbo land
Wise boy. He must have heard stories of how the likes of Amokachi were leasing private jets as if it's mere okada back in those days. Career ended, money practically finished in no time and they had to rebuild on low scale.
I heard Osimhen is a businessman and sharp investor.
Someone asked on X if anyone with legal work can spend the way these guys spend. Osimen was in that hall but sat at the back. man understood what it means to run 90mins on the pitch, so he kept it low.
To my US-based folks here, how will IRS categorize this kind of 'spraying' expense? Anyway, for a US dollar millionaire that one na the accountant's headache but IRS will surely be excited
debbiebianca2: “Money Nah Water” Davido Billionaire Friend Gumbo Sprayed Him $100,000 Dollars
David Adeleke wedding yesterday was seen as the best held in Nigeria and Africa at large as a lot of dignitaries were in attendance yesterday.
Davido’s American billionaire friend Karim Butler popularly known as Gumbo was captured spraying Davido and Chioma hundreds of dollars when calculated worth over $100,000 dollars.
Then she won't see him at home anymore. It's not that simple, and that's why marriage is tough. It's totally different from dating. He might even stop her from following him on most of his tours, claiming his wife must be home to train his kids afterall I don pay bride price. Marriage is tough.
Truvelisback: Now wey Davido don marry Chioma, na now Chioma go show Davido her true color. She won't tolerate those things Davido has been doing with other ladies.
True, marriage is totally different from dating but while dating Chioma has had great practice and experience in one of the major tools for survival of marriages - endurance. If she can weather the coming storm like Annie Macaulay-Idibia did, then she's good. The major issue might be Davido's own majority, Annie got lucky with TuFace on that point. You can only handle your own 50% of a marriage, you have no control over the other 50%. Good luck to Chioma and Davido as they finally join the club of understanding (Understanding that life is not about marriage, it goes way deeper). They are happy people and they will be fine. Back to work jare .
Chrisrare: After all this wedding frenzy, i just hope the marriage last long. Celebrity marriages lasting long and Arsenal winning the epl, i don't know which one is more improbable.
The waves of negativity leave longer wake resulting in false conclusions. We see that everyday.
I was told Igbos are evil, they are natural liars, you can't live among them as a foreigner, they worship money & won't hesitate to kill you for money. I served in Anambra, saw very few with those traits and I know they don't define the good ones that I met.
The Yorubas that kept the properties of their Igbo friends and neighbors intact for them through the civil war betrayed nobody.
Igbos & Yorubas have their fair share of daring and dominating people in large numbers. It's not peculiar to Hausas or Fulanis, especially Hausas who are also often confused with Fulani.
Think deeply.
NOwazobia: You fit cry from now till tomorrow, but truth remains that attitude, and behaviours has traditional, and cultural divides, and these are just some of them.
Yes but that's the corner of the US that you found yourself. Many have been in the same US for over 20 years and never been near a single shooting incident.
You made it sound like people in the US hear gunshots every day or every month or even every year. That is simply not true for many people.
Solofresh2: Of course cops were everywhere but that's not the point. The point is that a stray bullet could have hit anyone at that point and the cops won't raise the dead to life. US from what have seen is full of psychos who can do and undo at anytime. I could remember having a little fight with a friend at a basketball court and my uncle didn't allow me out for a whole week
No I got you, I only look at the big picture. You missed the point when you mentioned 'homeless guy in California' to back up your point. An average Nigerian immigrant is not likely to be homeless in the USA, they hustle and they leverage good information! Those homeless guys in Los Angeles or Seattle will drive down the "theoretical" average quality of life in America. There is a reason why you have heard of several shootings in the USA and it's always big news when it happens, but you don't have a lot involving Nigerians as victims.. and that's across the entire USA.
Stoplying: You still don't get it, do you ? The average guy who lives in Switzerland is far better off than the average guy who lives in the USA. Is this so difficult to understand?
His point is that there are several Switzerlands and Monacos inside the USA. You have stayed briefly in Dallas and you should know that & I assume your family people are still there.
Dallas alone has several equivalents of your Switzerlands and Monacos scattered all over the DFW metro area.
Stoplying: It's amazing how completely clueless you are. Look at the GDP of Switzerland and ask yourself if you would better leave in Switzerland than in the usa. Look at the GDP of Monaco... You are incredibly clueless
Ok, no prob. After those gunshots, was it treated as business as usual or you later saw it all over the news with cops everywhere around your neighborhood?
Solofresh2: Currently not in the US but I lived in Dallas with a relative two years ago.I witness a violent gunshots live
Solofresh2: He sure me say that werey no dey US.I was in Texas last two years, and I witness one live in the US.People are killing themselves over Petty issues in the US.I Lost a friend(James) a black American in 2018 who was shots dead in his home. This was very painful😥
Whoever is in charge of the procurement must as a matter of policy be part of any operation with the aircrafts and must be physically present inside one of them during operations.
Which kind wahala be this? What is wrong with our people? One out of every four sub-saharan Africans is a Nigerian with estimated population of over 220 million people up from 120 million in 1999, 70 million in 1979 and 45 million in 1960.
You need to slow down! Maximize what we have first before promoting continuity of breeding like rabbits.
Obierika: Most men are shying away from marriage because of the bad state of the economy, the implication of this in future is that at a point Nigeria will start having low birth rate which has negative implication for the country's growth potentials
