Those clowns think other Nigerians are mugus that they can sell whatever they like to. They should find another person, this repackaged Obi won't fly lailai. They were even proudly selling the joke that Obi won the general election Olowosaudi: Hmmm. Obi worked with Abacha whilst many Nigerians were fighting to restore democracy and today, his gullible supporters see him as the saviour of a country they called Zoo all because he is from their tribe. Obi resides in Lagos and not in Anambra where he turned to an eldorado. What an irony. Besides, majority of his people come to Lagos to do business and not in their own region. What an irony. They dislike Nigeria but yet still invest in Nigeria outside of their own states. Sad |

I'm sure you meant, "that is not the ONLY issue". I agree that there are additional points like the ones you tried to address but as someone that invests in many personal farm projects I know that the issue goes way beyond "people don't farm anymore" as I still deal with farmers farming everyday despite all the challenges. In addition, in business I witness and live through the unbelievable greed of our people every blessed day. Also, APC is not the issue. Nobody was born APC. APC is just a group of Nigerians from within the Nigerian system and formed by players from all major political parties in Nigeria so let's stop muddling up these conversations by overreaching. It causes more distractions. We have states that have been receiving huge government allocations every year for the past 25 years with nothing tangible to show, and they are not APC governed states. Reloadedisraelp: oga dats not the issue.... Nigeria didn't start 2023 with bola tinubu ....the problem causing all those are way back to insecurity.... People don't farm anymore + the government ain't even encouraging people to go farm by showing example.... So the little those traders have, they can change the price as they like cos they ain't competition in the market anymore.....if government cant set a policy to regulate price of goods n control the inflow n outflow...then nobody should blame the traders..apc is a curse to Nigeria |

Exactly. We are the problem and what is happening today is the report sheet of 63 years of recklessness, selfishness and shameless profiteering with no iota of sympathy for fellow men. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. Even if they are given products for FREE they won't reduce the sales price because they are already calculating how to buy land in Abuja and buy the latest SUV from even foodstuff sales, so profit must be insanely maximized. Our culture evolved over the years to I BETTER PASS MY NEIGHBOR, nothing else matters in the long run and it will take generations to change that. . abysirius: Our government is making a mistake. The people will never reduce price. They will tell you that they have still selling their old stock. |

Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: We’re Not Fixated On A Figure — NLC by Shikena(m): 3:00pm On Jun 04, 2024 |
Thank you. IMMUNO1: NLC should focus on the factors that are making their salaries valueless. They should know that less than 1% of Nigerians are under the government payroll. They should understand that government can agree to pay them 500k and peg the prices of PMS and diesel at 10k per liter. I don't know when we will start having people that can think in leadership positions. If government pays you N10, they will find a way to collect N100 from you. What happened after 30k minimum wage with Buhari should have been a big lesson to these confused labor leaders. Nonsense! |
Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: We’re Not Fixated On A Figure — NLC by Shikena(m): 2:59pm On Jun 04, 2024 |
Many don't get it. They hear minimum wage and assume they are part of it. When NLC folks are ready to lead the fight for struggling Nigerians they will let us know. This current agitation is for a very tiny minority. Honestey: The thing I hate about this struggle is Ajaero and co are only fighting for the interest of Federal Civil servants. Once they reach agreement the governors in some states will still continue to enslave workers and then cheap State Labour unions will be looking like Dundee as usual |

Our people are too emotion-driven and hardly pay attention. What the NLC is fighting for is totally different from what impacts majority of Nigerians. When Nigerians are ready, they will come out to address the hardship they face, not minimum wage for less than 1% of the population.
