Aunty go and buy land with that money, resell after a year or two. Don't start any business o if you don't want to cry.

For flight, get to a neighbour country. Book flight from there it is cheaper.

For japa, there are some uni you can go to for diploma that you won't pay much for first semester. Before you go sha, learn handiwork especially hairdressing it will make life easier.

For dependent visa, I will advise you not to try it. People can be crazy, government (overseas can come up with some policies. I saw a video of a man that intentionally ran a lady down with his car because she left him after taking her abroad. If you stay with a guy there do you know what may happen? What if the main applicant cancel your dependent visa? . Please go on your own biko.

Op...if your blood Sis can be doing that to your daughter... what expectations have you from your friend.... kindly follow the advice of the poster above ...... enroll her in a standard catholic boarding school....even during holidays... she'd be covered with much care and godly training.


There are some pupils in my school whom are in your shoes....it aches my heart seeing the way those kids are treated...they dare not tell anyone including you the diaspora parents...but as a Teacher...we get to know each of them and sometimes comfort them.

I'd recommend Louis ville girls high school...they have both primary and secondary.
You won't regret enrolling your child in a Catholic school and she'd be treated equally like other pupils...unlike your sister's house where she'd be harshly treated while she suffers in silence.


In all that you decide to do...do not fight with your sister....give her positive reasons why you think she should in the boarding.....no one knows tomorrow.

I've tried to actually read through and a bit shocked I found only one or two comments that told ypu the truth straight up!

What you did is completely unprofessional and a big neglect to your job, I would not blame your boss as he is on his own rights. What happened to you informing him before you leave? Please remove sentiment and emotions aside as these ones above me are saying.

These ones that are saying yen yen yen and all sorts of emotional stories should not deceive you as if you carry such attitude to your next job, you would keep getting fired.

Learn to act professional in the line of duty. You want to eat, inform someone. You are closing, inform as well.

Whatever action you put up is highly unprofessional, rude and unethical and the result is what you got. It's a lesson for your next job and act with caution

Now you can say that he was paying you only 50k without you saving and all sorts, before you were fired you never saw it as such. I personally think you were too confident and non challant and felt you could not be replaced.

I can only hope he calms down, else look for another job and stop lamenting over what was entirely your gadem fault!
