you can own a personal wifi box right, but having a WiFi box here isn't the same as having unlimited internet access on it, if you pay an equivalent of 55 dollars for data on your WiFi box, you'll get about 20 to 45 gigabyte of data depending on the service provider of the wifi box

You see our wifi box uses a simcard just like our phone, and the simcard is owned by the internet service provider you choose to patronize. So our wifi box is more like using a sim card in a WiFi to share it's data so more than one device can use it, the wi-fi box isn't connected to any cable in the house or something.

Is your home WiFi like that? Or there's an Ethernet cable in your House that you plug into the wi-fi box?

Ok now I get u. It's the same here but u can still own the one without simcard . For example the one I use does not have a simcard. Each month i pay the money and my account is reactivated for an unlimited data for a month

lol dang... We right in Nigeria have no unlimited plans on our GSM data, neither do we have access to broadbands that we can connect home WiFi to so we don't have "Home wifi" technically. There are some very few parts of Lagos where you can get your home connected to a broadband but it's more like the elite area, and even that isn't been patronized as much cos they've better alternatives which cost more (Well they're elites so they got the money).

An average internet user in Nigeria watches YouTube on their devices (in low settings lol 240p or 360p), and in HD when they're at work (Office Wi-Fi ) and so many of us stream online TVs although only for that special show (and not in HD mind you, low settings also), such as a live football match, a movie etc.

We know and watch Netflix, Hulu, and even stream more movies, documentaries, p0rn, sports via Kodi which gives free (illegal) access to paid and new contents, but guess what's fucking us up?

Data is gold here men, with 55 dollars worth of money here, you'll get between 25gb - 60gb (depending on the ISP you patronize) worth of data for just a month and the speed isn't even all that great, there'll be buffers here and there if you stream in HD

Essence of my question? How is it available in fvcking cameroon (No offence lol but we claim to be the giant of Africa), and we don't have it right here?

Most people don't do the unlimited stuffs . And moreover, cable TV is very very cheap to.

Now it depends on what u want. You have wifi that takes weekly data, daily and monthly data.
I use monthly data which is 55 dollars( i converted using franc CFA) for the subscription and it's unlimited
