press9jatv:Malami and Amaechi must resign their positions as political appointees before they can vote or be voted for during the Governorship & Presidential Primaries. That is still the Law of the land as per the Electoral Act 2022 ….until Clause 84 (12) is deleted or amended, regardless of what the Umuahia Judge says….point is: the Clause is yet to be deleted. Otherwise the Party Primaries can be declared invalid by INEC! |

Xhuntra:Not true at all. PDP was governing like a drunken sailor…..dishing money to cronies left, right and centre….straight from the Central Bank. Dasuki, Deziani, Fayose, etc, were just out of control with looting under Jonathan’s watch. Some people have very short memories!! ![]() |
Drastick:Exactly!! We are now so far from the ways of the Lord…..how can miracles happen? The Lord’s Messengers only incline towards those human beings who obey His Laws and observe His Commandmennts on Earth….not all these minions of the Darkness we have all over the place indulging in all sorts of vices like kidnapping, ritual murders, etc….all in the name of Money. Man must now choose between God and Mammon ….there’s no middle ground. Those unable to make the right choice are heading for eternal damnation which means erasure of their names from the Book of Life!!! |
nony43:Most times the brakes of the vehicle fail due to lack of proper maintenance of the trucks as well as drunk or untrained drivers. They should introduce rigorous standards to be met by all vehicles on our roads. This should be a yearly certification that must be obtained before the vehicle can be on the road. Drunk or unlicensed drivers should be severely punished to serve as deterrence! |
LeoDeKing:Engineers are those involved principally with the Design aspect of Engineering (as opposed to repair & maintenance). It is doubtful if anyone can be admitted as member of NSE or COREN in any of the professions if you have not been through a formal education in a University to become a graduate in Engineering or possess an equivalent qualification. In Nigeria, hwvr, since we have few manufacturing industries, “designing” is not a major part of our engineering activities. Hence, we simply lump everybody together as ‘Engineers’ once they’re seen to perform some kind of technical function….which shouldn’t be the case IMO! |
MadamVanessa:Just listen to the usual rubbish….as if Hushpuppy is also not a Youth! The Youth of today can package the entire Nigeria and sell it to the highest bidder without blinking an eye. I’m afraid, merely being a Youth is neither a positive nor a meritorious qualification by itself. May the best man win! |
Validated:You must be joking my friend! You think somebody like Tinubu will sign any paper to accept anybody else as consensus candidate? Buhari cannot intimidate someone like him. He should go and ask IBB, Abacha and Obasanjo about Tinubu. Everybody will have to slug it out in an ‘indirect’ primary if Tinubu does not emerge as consensus candidate. You can take that to the bank! |
Frigga13:You and your mumu analysis….very illogical and nonsensical. ![]() |
Fahdiga:….Not necessarily so! A man’s dick has dual purpose….it’s not only to be used for what Nigerians are obsessed with. Think pure thoughts my friend….Purity is godliness!! |
Move2:PDP disinformation strategy at work in this article….people should read between the lines! ![]() |
qekng40:Why would you choose him in preference to others who have demonstrated what they are capable of achieving in governance? Give reasons please without sentiments….we already know that he can read very well from a podium using a teleprinter, like Obama. Besides that, do we know how he can cope with governance in a political setting without a mentor guiding him? Shouldn’t we be looking for someone who has governed a State before with demonstrated political experience? Just wondering o! I’m afraid the North might just find it too easy to use Osinbajo to play ping pong! |
longetivity:……not if his pretty wife has anything to say about that oo. Direct your gaze elsewhere pls! ![]() |
ganisucks:How does he know? Did the bandits carry the corpses away with them? Or you mean the security agents that would have descended on the place would not know how to count and brief the governor? Maybe you think Tinubu is a nonentity like you! Na wa oo! ![]() |
Northernblood5:Build a train station in Aba with Ipob’s “stay at home” policy?….would that make sense? I think they need to change that policy first oo! ![]() |
oilPUSSY:What digital world is Ortom talking about? Is his world more digital than that of the USA where a 79 year-old is the current President and another 75 year-old is gunning for a comeback tenure in 2024. Ortom should be advised that growing old is a privilege denied to many!! He should also realise that “intelligence” is different from “Wisdom”… .we need Leaders (including loose-mouthed Governors) that are abundantly endowed with the latter quality! |

oshozondii:Farooq Kperogi can sit in America and be judging people who are here in the furnace under the hammer. It’s sooo easy to criticise from a distance. He should be bold enough to come home from time to time and speak his mind ….just like people like Deji Adeyanju, Sowore, etc….those are our HEROES whose word is worth taking seriously IMO! |
osinbanjoisaliar:Jagaban, do beware when people from a certain background decide to sing your praises….they’re trained to lure their prospective victims into a false sense of security so as to catch them unawares before dealing a deathly blow. A word is enough for the wise o!! |
Duru009:I guess that would put food on the table for your family, provide employment for your graduate children and fuel in your car…. assuming you’re fortunate enough to have any of these! ![]() |
PrinceOfLagos:I thought they say “a dog never returns to his own vomit”? ![]() Both the prospective joiner and those who called him unprintable names barely eight years ago but now praising him as their Messiah, are nothing but a bunch of shameless, self-centred people with no love of country at heart. All they’re interested in is to return the rulership of Nigeria to the North in the shortest possible time…as if the other ethnic nationalities are born slaves to be lorded over in perpetuity! |
bennybuhari:Absolutely right! No mago mago Concensus should be allowed for the Presidential primaries. If you believe you’re popular, then you should not fear to test your popularity in the field…either through Direct or Indirect primaries. After all, anybody that gets the ticket still has to go to the country at large to test his popularity in the General Election. It’s the only way for peace to reign in APC. |
vince96w2:How is he Yoruba? ….because his father loved Rotimi Williams (the legal luminary) sooo much, he decided to name his son Rotimi? Does that make him Yoruba? Get your facts straight man! |
Odin13:One keeps wondering when Light will return to your part of the Dark Continent. Since Awolowo cursed Nigeria, na so so gbonmisi omioto. It is pitiful ! ![]() |
MikoB:Is it only now Buhari and his cohorts woke up from slumber to realise there are money bags in APC? When they were using Bullion Vans in 2019 to help him secure second term, he didn’t know they were money bags then. They’re all hypocrites! |
Faber:Hmmm….that would depend on the type of seeds you’re sowing right now. You’re already preparing where and into which environment you will incarnate in your next life. Sow good seeds of love & tolerance towards your neighbours NOW (regardless of their tribe or race)….maybe you can still manage to secure a more heavenly environment for yourself in a next life. That’s how it works my friend!! |
Bastardlyrich:Look at this mumu…have you thought of buying and developing land in your own ramshackle village? Wanderer without shame….I can only pity your children and grandchildren in that country! Anuofia!! ![]() |
Bastardlyrich:No wonder they wanted to send the useless ones among you into the lagoon….the sensible ones like Ben Akabueze are welcome! ![]() |
