I know this will disappoint so many people. Those of you who received success mail and have not been contacted by workforce please move on. You will not be contacted again . That is sterling bank style. I observed their trend and discovered that is how they operate. This recruitment exercise started last year nd I discovered that some successful candidates were never contacted again once those successful moves to the next stage. It may surprise you that not all those who wrote the pbt were contacted. Some will even pass the effective communication and writing test and will not be short-listed for interview. Just move on guys.....the details will never come......officially singing off...................

I guess that's the issue with PBTs. . always subjective in nature..
if it were like Dragnet's KPMG test where the computer determines who is moving on to the next stage there and then based on performance , all these issues wouldn't arise..

I got neither success nor regret mail but of course I've taken my mind off..

problem with providing details of progress is that instead of people to use the info provided and move on
they would rather want bombard you with several questions that can just be solved my carefully reading through the thread.. most questions are generic,
someone must have asked it before!

Video Interview was okay though..
I didn't do well in my judgement (twas my first ) lol
Anyway, i got 6 questions
mine were:
1. introduce yourself to us and why you applied for a role in kerry or so. . and why Accounting? why food industry ?
2. tell us about a time where u faced difficulty in a team and how u handled it... bla bla
3. How does current economy state affect kerry or so
4. how does the finance function affect kerry as a group
5. any other info u would like to add to ur application

can't remember one question. .
before you ask, I applied for a finance role (that shud be obvious)

the questions are usually timed... eg 3 mins to answer
they are programed ie not a physical person asking you..just scrolls after you submit ur responses
u have an option to review your answer and you can rerecord if you're not satisfied with the last response

however for some answers I did, when I tried reviewing.. I couldn't record another instead.. it just auto submitted. .

All in all... just find a bright place and record your stuff and communicate effectively. not forgetting to research on them so as to have answer to those questions
without sounding lost ..

I was mailed that they have received my video and will now "carefully review"... I de wait

My brother I agree with you, travelling all the way from PH to Lagos to write yet another test, when you've already written 2 previous tests is disheartening. With the fuel situation, imaging the logistics involved, its not as if they will foot the bill and you can easily get a regret mail!! Travelling to Lagos will make you absent from work for atleast 3 whole working days!! What excuse should I give my employers? If it was for an interview, I'd have attended but yet another test? I seriously doubt I will. * Sighs *

it's a test so really dress code should be the least of your problems.
Just appear smart.. a nice shirt and jeans is okay..
Mild corporate is also cool.

SHL style for math
(ratio, % , etc)
General verbal ( antonyms), critical reasoning (induction and deductions from passages ) and
"true, false, cannot say " questions..
of course time would most likely be short..

The interview could either be face to face or a telephone interview. Heard lots of questions would be asked in the interview... but basically you have to know as much as you can about the company and maybe current global issues. After that, if successful... you would be invited to the assessment center (AC) and if successful in all the assessments that would be conducted there, you would be given an offer.

As for me presently i have completed the numerical stage but still awaiting a response from them as per the verbal test. Also i want to ask, how long did it take for yoou to get a response from them to do your verbal after writing the numerical test?

I took the Numeracy around midnight and got a link for verbal at about 2 pm the of the same day.. so about 14 hrs interval..

no idea how it's gonna be or how many more are to come cos from responses just a few of us have written any tests... this kerry is different

wrote mine at 8 am...

it's Short Passages and Math (gmat like) questions mixed up ie you can answer a verbal followed by 2 or 1 numerical(s), next verbal.

for your first verbal questions per passage, ild advice u read the passage and digest it because same passage will come subsequently with different questions.

20 questions, 20 minutes... Success!

I downloaded the latest Adobe player through their link on Internet Explorer and it did the magic.
cyber cafe wasn't an option at 12 am ....

please did you experience issues with the "computer check " before your test?
I've not been able to take the test using Chrome and Firefox... it keeps saying Adobe Flash plug-in is disabled or outdated .. I followed their link and installed but still same issue.
Again, that my browser does not support the test etc..
