House please while booking with iom Australia, was the payment advice in dollars and the account in Australia? Mine came like that and i just replied them telling them that I'll prefer making a deposit of the naira equivalent to a Nigerian account due to new financial restrictions on international money transfer services in Nigeria. Okay so I'm getting emails not relating to what I posted earlier. Sorry I won't reply those emails privately but here.

Someone asked how I got my visa...well like I said earlier, I am a health personnel and my work schedule is tight. So I went through PFL to secure my visa. They were the ones that did the certification of my documents, filled my forms for me (in my presence thou) and I went to submit at teleperformance myself.

Timeline again.
Medicals frontloaded: 11th nov
Dropped my application at teleperformance: 13th nov
Got to Pretoria: 19th nov
Visa grant: 7th dec.

Concerning SOP, I think my own SOP may benefit someone in the health field. Dunno abt any other profession.

Still waiting for replies concerning accommodation.thanks guys

I want to thank you guys for the continuous support and words of encouragement. I used Pfl to apply for my visa. I'm a pharmacist and hence very busy schedule. That's why I jst left it to Pfl. That dint mean I dint follow up o or get involved.

Timeline: lodged my application on the 13th of November at teleperformance...got an automatic email reply that same day that my application had been sent to the visa centre. Heard nothing else till today.

Got my visa grant today 7th November, early this afternoon around 2pm ish.

Bro calm down...u not alone. Also thought grants wld be issued yesterday as well. But nothing. Hopefully Monday by God's grace. Heard lots of February entry intakes so lots of applicants atm. It is well.

Hello guys, well i just got my visa grant via the PFL agent used. I didn't get to know about this thread until after my visa application and all but i hope all I am going to put here helps someone out.
I had no idea about the front loading of the medicals and so it was after i had lodged my visa that i did the medicals.
Visa was lodged on the 13th of November, apparently it got to Pretoria on the 17th of November which was the same day i did my medicals. Fatayi williams sent the results in on the 19th and after then the waiting begun. How i applied to the school is a different story but i have been in India for the last one year and i applied using IDP India to Macquarie and Swinburne Uni of Tech. Cos of Swinburne's toughness and admission conditions changing i settled for Macquarie University, Sydney. The final decision on my visa was made today 3rd December 2015 and i got it this evening. Using this as a point of contact to my brothers and sisters here that yours is already loading and u will receive it soon. Cheers and well done to all the Gurus here for loading up all the knowledge and information. I still learn new stuffs everyday going through all d pages @2posh i hail u o and @futuredon ekuse o and to the other people i forgot to mention......I sight una God bless u guys.

Hello house, just a quick question for those of us who have done medicals. Is it compulsory to get your OPV done at Fatayi williams? I mean can't i opt to get it at the local govt health centre and request for the certificate FOC or at least for a token, instead of paying #2,500 per person . Just a family man trying to save costs

Hi, please don't take opv at FW....took mine at the public health centre at MMIA toll gate for free. Just hold ur yellow card when u going to FW so that they can see that u took opv. When u take the opv at Public health, they will indicate it in ur yellow card along side ur yellow fever vaccine.

My timeline: submitted my application on 2nd November, medicals on 4th, the application got to Pretoria on 6th, granted on 20th. Pfl said the stuff was delivered to their junk box , called Pretoria today and was told about the grant since last month.
I'm elated. On to IOM now.

Hello nairalanders. So I got my acceptance letter from uwa Perth in June and just recently paid my fees through telegraphic transfer beginning of this month. They sent me an email saying my first down payment had a short fall, I think it was because of service charge by their bank in Australia. Anyway they said I cld pay the balance using my credit card which I did last week Tuesday 20th of oct.I have filled the form stating my credit card details, scanned the form n sent it back to the school together with my signed acceptance letter and refund policy forms. But up until now, they have not gotten back to me indicating if I'm supposed to complete the transaction by paying through a portal or something like that. Sent an email to them about my concerns but still nothing. Please nairalanders, any suggestions as to what step to take?. Please I'm very bothered at this point. Thank you in anticipation.
