They greet De~lauhe not la~Uhe, Ehor on the other hand greet De~laeho, other families salute De~laiso and so on.
For the fact that for the over four centuries that the Europeans intermingled with Benin, there was no mention of Ife leaves a lot to be imagined.
Please post a link of your interview with the Olu~awure. Next time you are going there take a camera with you. Anybody can claim that, this is a faceless forum.
What is the name of the site? What is the name of the book? Not many of your Usen friends, all Usen people you will ever meet in this life identify as Bini. All Usen people are bilinguals, the community Usen is a bilingual community. Again i say Uhe is not Ife.
Many Anioma kings dress like Bini kings as are duly of influence. It happens, Anioma is a classic example.
Late pa Edebiri is not a historian, several Binis who did history openly disagree with him.
There is a more plausible explanation for Uhe from the middlebelt than it can ever be for Ife, who needs to trace the history of Ogun, Orunmila, shango etc when we share a large border with Owo, Ikale, Akure and so on. It is a more tenable fact that it came in through social relations from these Yoruba neighbors than far flung Ife.
That is a lie, Uzebu and the Ezomo family salute la~Ogiesan buttressing their Esan origin, you can find that in this video. The number six family there
Usen language is yoruboid and its the first language to its people the edo language on the otherhand is a borrowed language that is not in dispute at all Usen itself was initially called Ode Awure, ode is a yoruba word for settlement like ijebu ode, the first leader was a man called Oyebo and the land was eventually called Ufe kekere meaning small ife the first ruler was called afelogiyan and he came from ife alongside Oranmiyan Other villages that are satelite of usen are ulorin, Arere Oladaro, okeodo, Adeyanba and many more In the year 1897 during the visit of major Roupell he wrote in one of his reports "The country is entirely yoruba in its customs yoruba is spoken everywhere" You can read up more on this in " the linguistic status of usen" written by Ameze Ogbeifun You can also look for the usen forum in america and ask questions or better still you can let go of your xenophobia and hate for yoruba The usen Kabiyesi dresses in yoruba clothes always i posted an image above where he took a picture with Obaseki i would post more in the comment section
EDEBIRI Just to corroborate what simbrixton said above Late pa david edebiri was talking about his own family ancestry you dont need to be a historian for that, the only issue here is he did not lie and you are finding it hard to come to terms with that indeed the entire Ihogbe are members of the Oba family and they spoke a language called urhuazenomo (the language spoken to omo)
UZEBU below is a screen shot of page 164 of "the benin city pilgrimage " written by Aisien Ekhaguosa also blessed memory i think you should read and digest yourself
Now to conclude benin oral traditions talk about a physician that helped oba esigie when he had problems with his sight
9jahotblog: Indefatigable governor Douye diri of Bayelsa State is a goal
Bro how far? I now understand why you said you're having reservations about Demola Adeleke's nepotism. I heard he just appointed another member of his family I to his cabinet, making a total of 8 Adeleke appointments. That's unprecedented!
RockHard: Smh. Poor Peteru Obi. First it was his manhood mandate that was stolen, now they've stolen his phone. Nigerians should pity this man na, haba.
That was how my Obidient friend fapped my phone and sold it at computer village. He later confessed and begged for forgiveness. I'm sure the missing phones were stolen by an Obidient. I'm ready to stake millions of dollars on that fact.
9jahotblog: I do support politicians that have people’s interests in heart, but when I see nepotism and other bad characters setting in, forget it, the politicians is not in my good books again. Promoting good governance is what I cherished most and I create passion for politics cos’ one day I will represent the people in my community but seeing bad characters and bad acts in government is what I frowned in. I don’t support nepotism in government
9jahotblog: Adeleke with his nepotism will destroy his government and his second term bid . Osun State electorates are well informed and well educated to choose the people they want.
I noticed you used to be a supporter of both Aregbesola and Adeleke at some points in time but changed course later. Is this based on principle or something else?
afroniger: In some ways I see a few parallels in the Turkish elections and the recently concluded elections in Nigeria.
1. Erdogan's rival, kemal, was endorsed by the Kurdish separatist PKK, which ended up working against him as this was exploited by his rivals. This mirrors the separatist ipob's endorsement and support of Peter Obi's candidacy, which made some sections of the country apprehensive about him.
2. Biased polls: The vast majority of opinion polls tipped kemal as the winner of the election, same way Peter Obi was the projected winner by most pre-election polls.
Though the elections have yet to be concluded, but unless something drastic happens, the upcoming runoff is the incumbent Erdogan's to lose at this point.
Turkey election is not yet over. Wait till final result.
FlyoruB: Wey the official apology? Abi na over the phone dem apologize? You Obidients can lie for Africa. I expect to see a forged apology with fake official seal of the British government flying around blogs and social media any moment from now. Iro ti baye yin je.
According to my own sure banker source, the apology was done via text message but Peter Obi deleted the message in anger.
(1) Impersonation: Peter Obi was alleged to have introduced himself as 'the president-elect' of Nigeria, which is not only false but is considered an impersonation of the true, legally and internationally recognized president-elect of the federal republic of Nigeria.
(2)Money laundering: Ongoing investigations by UK authorities surrounding illegal money transfers to-and-from the UK by Peter Obi and his associates.
Obidients should be doing Thanksgiving because if what I'm hearing from the grapevine is true, e remain small make YouKay gonment give Saint Obi the Ekweremadu treatment. My source tells me he's not yet in the clear. The matter long.

— BitKE (@BitcoinKE) February 6, 2023
The report, based on research conducted by crypto accounting services firm, Recap, lists 50 top performing cities, globally for their competititives when it comes to crypto businesses.
Out of the top 50 cities, 6 are from Africa, with Nigeria, South Africa, and Angola represented:
Lagos (Nigeria) – Position 14 Ibadan (Nigeria) – Position 24 Cape Town (South Africa) – Position 30 Luanda (Angola) – Position 38 Pretoria (South Africa) – Position 42 Johannesburg (South Africa) – Position 46
While South African cities also do well in the report, Nigeria once again stands out in Africa with 45% of people in Nigeria owning or using crypto, according to the report. This is significant considering that only 11% of people in the United Kingdom, which topped the list, use or own crypto.
Despite the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) issuing a raft of suspensions and bans on cryptocurrencies, including a crypto ban in February of 2021, the people appear to prefer cryptocurrencies for its advantages in use – cases like remittances, cross -border trade, and safeguarding against currency devaluation.
Nigeria is currently considering regulation for cryptocurrencies including stablecoins, as well as Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), as it prepares for an increase in digital finance by 2025.
According to the report, the rising adoption of cryptocurrencies has attracted the interest of cities globally who see potential for investment and innovation. This has created a competition among cities to be recognized as crypto-friendly locations.
“As regulations surrounding crypto become more established, particularly with regards to taxes, some countries offer more favorable tax systems than others, with some having 0% taxes on capital gains and others imposing a tax rate as high as 45%,” says the report.
The total includes the top 50 cities evaluated based on their readiness for widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies.
The study took into account a variety of factors, including the number of cryptocurrency events, job opportunities, companies, and ATMs related to crypto.
Other non-crypto considerations, such as quality of life, R& D spending as a percentage of GDP, and capital gains tax rate, were also taken into account.
I mean, each time they release a list of Nigerian billionaires, they always deliberately omit the millions of dollar billionaires of Igbo extraction. This marginalization must end. One Nnewi billionaire alone can fund United States of America's annual budget. The bad-belle is getting too much.
