dekdek:
Na wa oo. Someone went to court to secure an order against an institution from taking an action they are constitutionallly empowered to take and u are here telling us that he didn't sue instead he petitioned. U sound confused. People do secure court orders/injunctions preventing police from arresting and prosecuting them. Is the police not empowered by law to arrest and prosecute? |

dekdek: Another huge joke from the thug, wikes camp. No court order can stop the senate from doing what she is constitutionally empowered to do. That is their responsibility as recognised by the law of the land. So many precedence exists on this. It's like u saying u have a court order asking the senate not to pass laws. The worst u can do is after doing what they are empowered to do from our law books, u can go ahead to test it ( law, decisions etc) in the law court. Senate gonna do what the law asked them to do. Wike has failed again. Senate, will receive it and junk it. Let wike sue the senate afterwards. You don't know what you are saying.. Even Federal Govt obey court orders, no one or any institution is above the law. |

I think I believe u..but.....if truly the Eze spoke to the Deji in that manner then he is not fit to wear that crown.
Eze Igbo is just like a President of an association..he is not a traditional ruler or a king in the real sense. They are not recognized in Igboland as kings.
I think they should not be wearing crowns and an Eze's Regalia and the title "Eze" should be removed completly because they are not kings.
But its not only Igbos that have kings outside their home states, in Abuja for instance there is a Sarki hausawa, a Yoruba king , a Gwari king and chiefs e.t.c |

AgreatMan: I have always studied Enyeama, I know he is the pompous type that seeks some form of gratification for saving important goals for us. I wouldn't complain about that, if you are good at something and are boastful about it, anybody can go to hel.l.
Enyeama is a mere captain of a team, the fact that he was stripped of his captaincy doesn't compensate for dumping Nigeria. Can he come late to Lille even if hell had broken loose? Not coming at all would have been better than coming late but I understand the boy is trying to dedicate the Congo match to mama.
That team belonged to the coach, the coaching staff first and any other person can come after. Oliseh takes the blame for any success or loss.
Ahmed is a dedicated boy. Always gives his best, always plays in the Champions league. Dedication always trumps talent any day. You guys should forget this very good keeper, as far as am concerned, he could have equally had a year injury.
What's with the Bentley? You don't have a house a Belgium, you don't live there, you haven't played there before. So you simply decided to rent a Bentley (or borrowed one from Eden Hazard's Belgium garage) to intimidate the other guys who probably came in a team bus? Is there no taxi in Belgium or molue?
It's really crazy when people who have not played any sort of organized sport under a coach, to be making some misguided comments and defending a player who actually erred on that occasion. Bad belle go kill u ooo. Even if he takes cargo ship to the training camp its no one's business. |

We all know Buhari is an illiterate that lacks common sense, he is not sensitive to the pains an average Nigerian goes through everyday......what baffles me is the fact that he has also surrounded himself with men of shallow minds.
This is a recipe for failure as we have witnessed so far. |

However, Nigeria youths should flee from crime and the likes. It does not pay! The NCA is very proud of this story . We have properly documented the names of the criminals involved in this shameful act. We will also like to note that our brothers from the southwest are currently leading other regions in criminal activities from our records. Expect a full Report at the end of the year. We urge the general public to always check names of criminals and report back to the NCA. Signed: President General. Name Checkers Association |

TonyeBarcanista: The Constitution has given legislators legislative immunity and judiciary judicial immunity. Nobody can arrest or prosecute them for whatever they do in line of their parliamentary or legislative duties (as the case may be). So what else do they want? This is the accepted norm all over the world! I don't knw the immunity u are talking about because recently saraki the Senate president is currently standing trials.....if he had immunity he will not be charged. Bulk of the blame should go to the citizens who elect men and women of questionable character to leadership positions |
Politics › Re: Proposed Immunity For Senate President, Speaker Etal: Dead On Arrival (DOA) by shortgun(m): 7:49pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
I will disagree with u on this barcasnista. In a democracy like we practice in Nigeria, there are 3 arms of Government...the executive, legislative and judiciary. No arm of govt. is more important than the other.
The legislstive is as important as the executive....if the heads of the executive is enjoying immunity I see no reason why the heads of the other arms of government should not enjoy the same.
At the end of the day its the citizens that suffer if the heads of the legislature and judiaciary are Always in court defending every frivolous litigation. |
